• VBAI: How to correct the vignetting?

  One of my vision for the future projects will require a very sensitive inspection on a flat surface for the variations in light brightness.

  I intend to use a large ceiling fixture for a light almost uniform from all directions and use a lens of the sensor 1 "with a camera imager in a format more small low noise to reduce the effects of vignetting of the lens.

  However, even with these steps, I plan, overall image, there will be some amount of variation in the apparent brightness of surfaces.

  Clearly, if I was using Labview/Vision I could write a trivial VI to multiply each picture with a picture of correction (with a uniform surface of perfely).

  Is there a way to accomplish this effect in VBAI?

  Vision Development Module 2015, published in August, we've added the new field Correction screw flat that you can use to calculate or estimate the images of flat ground and the acquired images correct with it.

  Examples are found here:

  My recommendation is to try the feature in LabVIEW and see if it works well with your images.

  The latest version of the expedition of the VBAI (2014 SP1) which was made available before Vision Development Module 2015 does not yet support this feature. What you can do to use it in this version, is create a VI in LabVIEW 2014 SP1 that implements the Correction on the flat ground and call using the LabVIEW execution step.

  It will be natively supported in the next version of 2015 VBAI.

• Weird purple flashes when you use the mask + Vignette effect

  I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden.

  I get flashing purple footage glitchy when I apply a mask to my Vignette effect on my video. Video has been previously comped, and this method worked for me before to apply a blur on the sides of the background. Help!

  

  What exact version of AE number? 'CC' includes many different versions and thus versions of update. Go to the About page in After Effects to find the exact version number. (Sometimes the app CC says things are up to date when they aren't telling us the real version number is essential).

  That being said, I think I know what your problem is. You use an AMD card and you installed a CUDA driver. Big mistake. Who will never cause problems. To get rid of it immediately! ITI doesn't help you at all, but it can completely screw you. Click on this link for more details.

• I'm under PSE 8.0 on a Windows 7 computer.  I want to make the vignetting.

  If you look under Image > Mode you are in RGB color mode?

  You have more than one layer?

  Maybe a layer that a pixel layer is selected in the Panel layers. as an adjustment layer.

  nic_C, this should be corrected in the next version of Lr (profile).

  Note that updated versions of ACR (e.g., 8,8) will have no direct impact on the rendering of images in Lightroom.  This is because that ACR and Lr are separate (but related) products.

• Need help with video "vignette" Locket

  Help me decide if it of feasible or "worth" in regard to ease, it would be. I have an image of sleeping dog head. I want to put a video of the 'dream' is to have the dog in the dog park as a soft oval sharp as a video insert on the dog's head. I am a beginner and training and to see that an image can be cropped to leave a smaller image that can be imposed on another full image frame. The question is how to get the image in a thumbnail that 'floats' above the background image.

  Is this possible? Built-in effect? - or difficult to do?

  Lots of ways to do that including a mast and vignette in Photshop.

  But using an oval track matte effect / elipse you create in the Titler first is a way to explore.

  Read how caches work.

  Read how to create title (circle / oval.. .what ever) and how to fill it.

  A blur may help as well.

  Blend modes can be pleasant to use.

• Wide Angle Images are vignetting after Conversion to DNG - please help :-)

  Convet the Canon CR Raw Adobe DNG files. (Cany use Canon Raw files on my Adobe Camera Raw CS3 CR
  All DNG images taken end of the zoom wide angle have very pronounced vignetting - appear as there is a very long visor on.
  The same images appear fine on the screen rooms and in the Canon software.
  This seems to happen just during the process of conversion to DNG format.
  At the moment I can't treat Raw images in my CS3 and I have to use the substantial software Canon gives at least with the camera

  Probably what is happening, is that the DNG file tries to use DNG 1.3 accent extensions, that will not recognize CS3.

  I suggest try "Custom DNG compatibility", backwards Version 1.1 and linear (demosaiced) for compatibility settings.

• Clothing of the vignettes in Lightroom 3 using Windows 7 (64-bit)

  I just installed Lightroom 3 on a new computer HP Win7 64-bit. I imported a few photos and it seemed to go OK, but all the thumbnails in the grid view and the Filmstrip are gray when in the library. It's also no displayed picture to develop. If I mouse over any thumbnail in the library, however, the file attributes are displayed, so I know the images are there. I also see the thumbnails in the Web module.

  I also installed Lightroom 2, which worked fine on my 32-bit, but his vignettes are also grayed out in 64-bit. Do you think it is a 64 - bit issue?

  This looks like a monitor corrupt profile.

  I suggest recalibration/report of your monitor. If you have not done yourself so far, I'd recommend getting a hardware calibration device to do (they are available for about $100).

  In the meantime, to check if it is a problem of profile, you can assign a sRGB to your monitor ICC profile, as described in this blog post from Victoria Bampton.

• Why only four of my nine vignettes show on FireFox 33?

  Just updated to FF 33 and it seems that my miniature screen is only showing four of my nine thumbnails pinned. I tried following the page how to change the classic look but pressing the only hidden train page and do not show the selection screen. If I zoom out three times, I am able to see all the but it's just a way of jank to fix. No idea what is happening and if FF will bring back nine spaces for the thumbnails?

  With the new update of Firefox, the number of tiles is now determined on the size of the screen - unfortunately I do not know how to keep the zoom level for the topic: newtab page.

  If you want to set a fixed number of tiles, I believe you can do it with the following extensions:

• iPhoto: a few vignettes or full display photos

  For a few days (as my desktop picture comes from my pictures) I lost the ability to view photos in iPhoto - first a few, according to daily.  Then I tried launching maintain the command and Option keys, but none of these reconstruction options did much (one, I can't remember who, he went from no thumbnails displaying about 6 600 currently, display, no more news I have add).  All the titles and text appear ok.

  I saw a post on the support that iPhoto Library Manager could help, but the download page I need iPhoto 8.1.2 or later version.

  Any suggestions welcome!

  Some of my old photos are no longer available. Thumbnails look good, but when I click on the thumbnail I la! image. So when I show the contents of the iPhoto library these masters appear as documents and not pictures. How can I retrieve the original image?

  

  

  Follow these steps:

  1 - Launch iPhoto with the command and Option keys to open the window of first aid. Don't forget to follow the recommendation circle in the screenshot.

  

  2 - Apply the Option #4, rebuild the database.

  I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2

  The problem is that I have noticed for a long time that some thumbnails in my records show properly, just the default image that goes with irfan view. These photos are all with the extensions .jpg, .gif and .png, and the strangest thing is that some of them display appropriate thumbnails, and others do not. Even more strange thing happened when I opened a long unused folder I remember had images showing correct thumbnails once, but now some of them. I guess that since it worked once it can work again, so I ask for help now.

  "Always show icons, never thumbnails" does not work.

  Thumbnails preview problems can be resolved by disabling the thumbnail database and let the system rebuild as and when necessary. To do this, use the following steps:

  1) click Start, type cleanmgr and press on enter to bring up the disk cleanup

  2) click on my files only

  (3) select the drive letter of the system (C:\ partition where windows vista is installed) in the menu dropdown.

  (4) uncheck all entries, except thumbnails under files to delete article

  5) click OK, and then click delete files to confirm.

  You can restart the computer once and then check if the problem is resolved

• OJ x 576-confirmation of fax with vignette?

  Just got our new X 576 yesterday, and so far I'm pretty happy with the features. The only thing I did find is a way to include an image of a document by fax on the confirmation page. I tried the fax on the machine settings, as well as on the desktop. Someone at - it appears a tip on how to get this?

  I found the solution: it is in the built-in Web server settings.

  In your browser, go to the IP address of your printer.

  Choose fax in the top bar of tabs

  Choose advanced settings fax in the list on the left of the screen

  The second drop-down list box will be marked 'image Fax Send.' Change it to YOU.

  Click on apply at the bottom of the screen.

  Your confirmation page will now have a small picture of the first page of the fax, when they print.

• DevAlpha 10.0.9.1103 - slow reactivation of vignette

  When my application gets reduced and I open it up again, a progress bar blue small appears at the bottom of the tile and it takes a long time (between 5 and 20 seconds!) before opening the app!

  To benefit everyone, here are suggestions for Julian what to look for:

  • When applications are reduced to a minimum the applications window pads are destroyed to free up memory on the device. So when you blow it up again, he must recreate the buffers of the window. The activity indicator appears when the system is waiting for the application to publish to the window, so he can spend that correctly it maximized State.
  • Somethings that can do this happens more then others is if you do any treatment in your apps Event.ACTIVATE event. All treatment here or an additional rendering can cause sound rise more slowly.
