Virus without clicking on the link
This morning I received a text message from Skype to a known contact who looked like spam (speaking of weight loss pills) and contained a link. I have not clicked on the link, but my Skype account were nevertheless made just to look at the message and it now cannot connect to the internet. I used a phone to call the contact that origionated message of and she has had a similar experience to receive the same message and saw his Skype stop working.
I deleted the history of cats and checked the Skype settings for addons but he has not found everything, and the problem persists. I need to reinstall Skype?
[Update:] False alarm. It turns out that Skype just by chance happened to go down right in the world as I look one spam. Skype now works without having to reinstall.

Automatically generate a PDF file without clicking on the link and close the session
Is there a way to change the configuration of the interview to automatically generate a PDF file instead of having to click on the link "click here for the pdf" at the end of an interview?
Also after the interview and the generated PDF, can the session automatically close?
Preferably, I would like to do this without JAVA.You can write a JavaScript code piece that going to click on the link of generation of document for you. With respect to the close of the interview, it is the same, use JavaScript to call the bond in the narrow section and then eventually to automatically submit the form of confirmation.

After I 'google' a web site address, I am unable to access the page directly by clicking on the link in the address; the page hangs and does not respond.
What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test. If you are connected directly to a cable/dsl modem, then firstly download Avast or even Microsoft Security Essentials (both free). Then, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall McAfee. Install the antivirus of your choice and test. If all goes well, your problems have been caused by McAfee. This is not surprising since McAfee is perhaps the worst choice for safety, we could do.
If you had any antivirus installed before McAfee, then you must go through all stages of thorough removal of malware listed in the my link before anything else. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

When I hit a link to a page in my directory in code view and I click on the link in live mode view, it does nothing. When I then go to preview in a browser, it works fine. Can anyone help?
To follow links in Live View mode, hold down the CTRL on Windows or the command key on a Mac key, and then click the link. Clicking on without using the Ctrl/Cmd key simply selects the link in Live View mode.

By clicking on the link does not open new tab
By clicking on a link in an e-mail message (MAC Mail) open FF and directly to the page, if Firefox is closed. Fine.
However, if FF is already running, by clicking on the link only FF put in the foreground, but does not open a new tab, or the link fills in the current window tab. The only way to make it work is to right click to get the 'Quick Look' URL, and then open this page. This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

Hi jorb, it doesn't surprise me that scripts work sometimes differently in different browsers. Unfortunately, the scripts are hard to follow, so I can't offer a specific solution.

Right click on the link open in a new tab won't open
After the upgrade to the new version, 27.0.1, my function right click to open the link in a new tab stopped working. I can not open in a new window either. When I click on the link that I would like to open in new tab or window, the right-click window appears, I click on the function desired and closed the window right click and nothing happens.
I also noticed that there are many additional functions that now appear in the window right click, for example.
Play, Pause, Mute, turn on the microphone, etc..
Image of reloading, see the Image, video, etc.
This frame, view selection Source, etc. They could have been there, but I don't remember these features before. They could, BUT it is perhaps the case of not really noticing them because everything worked and now that I can't open new tabs/windows, I now notice them. Not sure if this is related to the issue or not.
I have the following extensions running:ColorZilla 2.6.4.1
Dictionary.com 2.0.0
Firebug 1.8.4
InstantFox 2.8.7I turn them off to see if they caused the problem, but the problem persists.
I hope someone can understand this because maybe I need to spend some browsers until this is resolved. Unfortunately not too effective!
Thank you!
In fact, the issue re-emerged so I upgraded Firebug and it worked, but it seems that Firebug was the question.

15.0.1 Mozilla gets stuck. You click on the links and nothing happens. No wheels spinning, nothing. I open Firefox in a new window, the same thing. I can only fix it by starting the Task Manager and close all Firefox Windows. [When I launch Internet Explorer, there no problem.] Thanks for your help!

By clicking on the links in the chat boxes or on my desk is no longer them opens in firefox.
When I click on the links on my desktop, nothing happens. When I right click and choose 'Open with' I can't choose firefox as an option. I can always open links in Safari. I started in Safe Mode and still experienced the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, which did not affect the problem. I disabled all my plugins and still encountered the problem. I made a new user profile for Firefox and yet once again, the problem persisted. I'm on the point at the end of my tether here!
Try making sure that Firefox is the default browser: Firefox make your default browser. If it does not see setting Firefox as the default browser does not work - what to do.
