  Thanks for posting your question.

  Try these troubleshooting steps.

  1. open the control panel (in classic mode), and then choose Add new hardware.

  2. click Next, and then "Yes, I've already attached the new material", and then click Next again.

  3. scroll down, click on 'Add new hardware' (or something similar), and then click Next.

  4. "choose manually from a list", and then click Next.

  5. click on Ports (COM & LPT), click Next.

  6. in the left part, choose (Standard port types), on the right side, choose the communication port. Click Next, and then click Next again.

  7. you will get a message saying that the device is installed but not working may not. (Of course since we really did not add any material). Click Finish.

  8. open the Device Manager by holding down the Windows logo key and press the keypad lock. Select the material (or is it devices?) tab, and then click the button Device Manager.

  9. scroll the page up to Ports (COM & LPT) and expand it. You should now see a port for communication with a yellow and black! on this subject. In parentheses, it must be said the number this Com port is now in your system. For me, it's (COM4).

  10. open Notepad (or your favorite text editor). And paste the following text:

  Then replace the COM4 in the end with your number of ports Com as "COM1", if it must be different.

  11 save the file as fms_com_port_fix.reg to your desktop (or anywhere).

  12. go to your desktop, and then double-click the file. Approve your entire system can give you security warnings.

  This should be FMS should now start for you.

  WARNING: before you edit the registry, export the registry keys that you want to edit, or back up the whole registry. If a problem occurs, you can then follow the steps described in the section "Restore the registry" to restore the registry to its previous state. To back up the whole registry, use the backup utility to back up the system state. The system state includes the registry, the base of COM class registration + and your startup files.

  I think you've correctly identified the source of your problem. By default, the NFS mounts are usually created with the 'root_squash' option, where the user root on a remote system creates its files as the anonymous user ('nobody' in most cases) on the exported NFS volume. It is usually a good practical security; However, in your case, you need to export the NFS volume with no_root_squash to allow the user root on Node2 to create files as expected when you run RapidWiz. Once installation is complete, you should be able to go back to using the default root_squash option, as the following files in the filesystem level of demand will be created by non-root users.

  Your system administrators may not be happy with the idea of an export of no_root_squash, and I wouldn't blame them. :-) If there is dispute, make sure that they understand that it is only for the duration of the installation of the EBS, and she can (and should) be powered once the installation is complete and verified to work.

  These two articles offer a brief explanation of the purpose and value of the NFS mount root_squash/no_root_squash export options.

  IAM, try to import an ATFX ASAM ODS file with 2 binary files in tiara, but I always get the following error Message:

  New section logfile *.
  ToDriver.cpp (425): ATFX: ERROR: Exception: load in (20)ata unknown type to this method!

  This happens when I try to import a file with DS_STRING "channels".

  There are 2 binary files. The first is quite well. The other usually contains data of type string and is called _string.btf [ATFX-Filename].

  Reading of the measured variables of type DT_STRING of a binary component (zero terminated) was not applied until NI DIAdem 2015.

  The current version of DIAdem 2015 is able to read your file without error.

  If you are able to get online instead of component data, it would read.

  P.S.: Plugin ATFX belongs NEITHER USI. If you are not able to switch to tiara 2015 simply to install a trial version of 2015 on your machine.

• VISA error message

  I recently spent Dev Suite 2009 to 2010, and since then, I get a VISA error set up a Serial Port (Serial Instr) .vi after that property Serial Instr node is executed:

  VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system. The resource refers to a USB port on one of our DUT, TXUSB. I know little about the VISA, but thought that it was set up in MAX and don't think that that would get changed during an upgrade. MAX is indeed the place to set up the names of these resources?

  Dev suite is a set of several applications and drivers. What precisely do you have installed? If you upgraded your version of NI-VISA, you may need to update MAX. Do you not see the com ports it?

  ADF, I received today a similar appeal.  When I questioned his information on the company, he was very defensive and said "I have no cold calling, I'm in East London" I asked him to give me the name of the software MS causing errors, during which he compiled a long list of file extensions and avoided the question.  When I asked her name and phone number so I can get my husband to call him back, he began to read a number on phone, but the figures '0-1', the line was cut off.

  I'm sure you made the right choice in putting an end to the conversation of what I lived today.  I have no idea how you would report to Microsoft, but wanted a response to you here to support your actions!

  You can also try your init.ora of edition and leaving only control01.ctl (remove control02.ctl and control03.ctl of the parameter control_files).

  What is the way of interacting ssh vith help API and application plink to run commands on a C20 looged as an administrator?

  I am able to execute commands as root for example to perform a reboot:

  The "bye" is really useless if the reboot - to do, but if you show other xcommands then unplug the codec at the end of all your orders.

  This will happen when different keyboards are installed. Try to use a password like 123456 is insensitive to the different schemes. CapsLock or NumLock is also a frequent culprit in such cases.

• myRIO VISA error-1073807192

  Hello world

  My problem is this: my myRIO can see successfully a Hokuyo URG - 04 LX module that I have connected to the USB host port. However, when you use VISA resource open, I got the following error:

  -1073807192: VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF00A8) is denied access to the resource or to the remote machine. This is due to the lack of sufficient privileges for the current user or the machine.

  KBs online suggest that it is a security issue to do with the address IP, but MAX shows the myRIO security settings allow communication on all ports.

  So, at this point, I'm stumped! Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Additional information:

  The myRIO detects not that kind of default device, I had to follow this tutorial to learn first how to get LabVIEW to recognize a connected device ttyUSB as a FTDI chip and then deviate from the tutorial slightly so that it supports the class of device Communication USB (ttyACM), which is the type of device class the URG - 04 LX adheres to.

  The code I used is:

  In the file/etc/mdev.conf, under #typical of devices, I added the line:

  ttyACM [0-9] * root: ATS 666

  In etc/rc5.d/, I added the S10SetLnUSB file that is provided in the tutorial, except all the entries pointing to ttyUSB were replaced by ttyASM:

  At this point the myRIO can successfully see the connected device.

  I reformatted back to the standard driver implementation myRIO plus all additional drivers additional NI-VISA (5.4) such as the passport of USB of NI-VISA. It turns out that after all debugging, all you have to do to get a class of devices of Communication (CDC, ttyACM) module to get recognized within LabVIEW RT is to do the following:

  1. Download your LabVIEW RT remote target visible in MAX.
  
  
  2. Plug the module USB to the USB of your target remote host port control.
  
  
  3. SSH in LabVIEW RT.
  
  
  4. Make sure the device you are using is a CDC. You can do that by typing the command #dmesg, and get a response that looks like this:

     [173.635010] cdc_acm 1 - 1:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device

  5. Run the command #rmmod cdc - acm. If the command line returns does not return a response, the device driver has been deleted successfully.
  
  
  6. Go to NOR-MAX on your host machine and refresh the list of devices and Interfaces for your remote target. The material should now appear.
