Vista Home Premium disc
Own 32-bit edition of Vista Home Premium. The disc could not be found, but I have the key code. Microsoft offers such a product? The current installation is faulty... this disk can perform a complete installation on another drive? Reactivation would be necessary? Image of the tied product. Advice requested
Hello
You don't say if it came pre-installed or not, Dell, HP, etc.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Order the system Vista Home Premium discs.
I bought a Toshiba Satelite laptop about 9 months, ago and never got around to order Microsoft system disks. Now I want to upgrade my RAM to 4 GB and try the 64 bit version which should be available on the disks in the factory. Now, I can't find anything on the windows site on the order of the original disks, only upgrades to different versions of Vista and Win 7. So I guess my question is, can someone please point me to a page or section of the site to order disks Vista system?
Thanks in advance for any help.You do not get them from Microsoft.
And as your Vista system is preinstalled, it is classified as an OEM license and that you are not eligible for the 64-bit Media (shipping offer)
Permit only right retail 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.

I've upgraded to windows 7, the upgrade requires a previous version of windows must be installed before it can be used.
When I installed the upgrade first, it worked perfectly, unfortunately I do not have a set of recovery discs before upgradeing from Vista to 7 (stupid I know!).
I bought the components to upgrade my PC and want to reinstall windows, but cannot without Windows Vista Home Premium disc, and I can't find anywhere to download them, or find someone willing to let me copy their discs (I only need a copy discs, I have my own serial number).
True to form, I also forgot to make disks of backup to my laptop before it got a virus (edition windows Home premium), feeling very stupid.
If anyone knows where I can get copies of these discs, it would releive a lot of stress.
That you have a legable Vista product key, then use these installation files to make a .iso and then bootable DVD/USB as shown here:
This will install Windows Vista with the activation of the phone. Note using your Windows 7 update product key directly with the good Windows 7 .iso file directly should work and you should not need to install Vista. You can, or perhaps not to activate by phone.

No, for two reasons:
1. the rule is quite clear. It is a copy (or a license) for each
computer.There is nothing new here. This is exactly the same rule that has been in
effect on all versions of Windows from at least with Windows 3.1.2. even if you have uninstalled it from your wife's computer, you might not
Install it on your. If it came with the computer of your wife, it is an OEM
copy and license to get an OEM copy permanently it binds to the first
It is installed on the computer. It can never be moved to another. -

Can someone help
Hello
Sorry do you need exactly? Do you need disc recovery Toshiba or d you must have Microsoft Vista disk?
The serial key you found at the bottom of the unit belongs to the preinstalled Windows operating system and will NOT work by using different Windows disks.
You have two options;
Either you buy the here Toshiba Recovery disk:
https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspxOr you buy the original disc of Microsoft Vista and will use the drivers provided by page European driver Toshiba
There is no other solution.

How to get a windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installation disc?
My computer is an emachine T5086. It has Windows Vista Home Premium and when loading drivers they stop loading at "windows32 drivers/crcdisk sys. I don't know what that means.
Then, the computer restarts and asks me to install my windows installation disc for repairs. F8 on reboot is not available as an option. I don't have a repair option I turn on the computer and hold down the F8 key manually. I don't have a windows disk or recovery disk and I can't to where I can find a restore either point.
How to make a windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installation disk? I have my product key. Or where can I get one?
Hello
There are different methods to reinstall Vista.
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact the manufacturer of your computer, eMachines and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
http://www.eMachines.com/EC/en/us/content/home
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

I saved 3 different 'projects', each has 10-15 images.When I use the screen 'Add items' to try and add these 3 different projects on my DVD I wind up just with a great slide show, which has 30-40 pictures in.What I want on this DVD is a separate slide show for each of the 3 projects.So can I implement a Menu of this DVD, which allows me to choose which of the 3 projects (slide shows) that I want to watch?Can I do this? It's a matter of time.Save each project in the. Film WMV format. Then you can import
the three films in DVD Maker files and each of them will be a chapter...
This way, you will have a menu.Once the DVD-video is encoded you cannot add additional files
the DVD.If you need information on how to save... validate your version of Movie Maker.

Need to restore disc for Windows Vista Home Premium
original title: need to restore the disc for Windows Vista Home Premium on Pavilion dv2000 laptop wiped out by Staples!
Had clips to make a diagnosis and PC tune-up. Apparently everything was fine, until I refused to let them upgrade my Pavilion dv2000 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium to Windows 7. Don't know what they did, but now I get a black screen and cannot access the laptop at all. Is there a cure?

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
See you soon.

I currently have a HP with Windows 7 on it. I want to wipe my hard drive (a full cleaning) and start again. I have the product key of Windows Vista Home Premium for a 64-bit computer, only to have not only not the disc. Recently, I called HP to get a new, only for them to tell me that they cannot help me because my warranty has expired... Is there somewhere else I can go to to get a disc without key on this product? I just need the diskette. If anyone can help me please, I would be very grateful. Thanks :)
Hello
You can't reinstall Vista on a recovery partition you have installed another operating system
read this:
Solve a common problem of recovery.If the original operating system is changed to a non - Vista OS, the Recovery Manager cannot be launched either office or by pressing f11 at startup. You can use the recovery disk to restore the computer to the original state of Vista. If you are using a non - Vista OS, you can use a third-party partition management program to recover hard disk space.________________________________________________________
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
you say, that they will not!

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

How can I get my E drive working again? I inadvertently stopped a backup file and ejected from the disc without it completed stopped. Now, he does not recognize the disc. Please help me. Computer: Compaq (Desktop), Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Packs 1 and 2.
Hello
Check with the support of Compaq, their online documentation and drivers and their forums for
known issues.Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.===============================
Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
do it right.Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and

Re use Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc
Hello
I bought and Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc and upgraded to Windows XP. Unfortunately my PC has not enough graphics to run Aero and DVD Maker (915 chipset), and I had tried unsuccessfully to introduce a new videocard (power problem). So I gave up with this PC and will probably go back to XP or get a copy of Vista Home Basic which will be OK on this PC.
I did the clean installation thing with the upgrade disk if my old XP system is not affected and can be restored without problem.
My question is:
If I buy a latest PC who has the necessary graphics to run the Home Premium edition, can I re reuse the upgrade disc, or the activation process will fail because of "improved" after having already.
Thanks for your help
Evereti
Hi Evereti,
You can try installing upgrade of Windows Vista on another PC as if you removed completely from Windows Vista to Windows XP PC. You will not be able to use the same copy on two different computers at the same time. It will affect the Product Activation.

disc clean up on vista Home premium
I use disk clean at least 4 times a week on vista Home premium, but deleted files called back
Don't forget not, even if clean you a file, usually, new items will be added in this file - you can not clean once and hope that it stay like that. After using disk cleanup, empty the trash to see if that helps to keep the files back (if they are back - are you sure that they are the same files or that new copies because you have visited the same web sites or similar activities). Post some examples of files that are 'back' so that I can see if there are any model. Check after cleaning to make sure they're really gone (I want to rule out the possibility that the process does not work)? Which boxes you check when do you cleaning disc (so I don't know what types of files are potentially return)?
If you do that frequently, we can set it up as a scheduled task so it becomes automatic and you don't have to do it manually every time. If you are interested, let me know and I'll post the modalities of implementation of a task in Task Scheduler.
Thank you. Once I have your answer, I'll see if I can understand what is happening or what to do next.
Good luck!

I need to know if I can back up my drive (E :) with RW + 16 x 4.7 GB 120 min? Is this one image the plant to recover and restore on my personal computer? Also when I use Microsoft Security Essentials and run a scan completes or a quick analysis what percentage of the CPU can I put on the value for my computer? I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.
I moved your post to the Windows forum.
Regarding the parameters of MSE, leave it at the default value, which is not checked unless you want to perform an analysis using the PC for something else. Limit maximum CPU available at MSE (it won't use it all the time during scanning) allows you to continue to use the PC more comfortably. When countered, if an analysis is performed while you also want to do something else, the PC may seem quite insensitive.
