  I would like to know if there are any other cartridges that can be used with deskjet 5650 addition 56/57/58?

  HP SureSupply site lists the 56, 57, 58 and, in addition, 28, 28 b and 27 cartridges for the Deskjet 5650.  27 and 28 series cartridges have less ink, about half of the pages assigned at a lower price than cartridges 56 and 57.

  I can see the printer - but since not connect by USB, Windows 7 does not know which driver to install. I don't know the code for it - and the site HP tells me that Windows 7 has the driver. Anyone know the name of the driver? Other clues?

  Try the following: on the Windows 7 machine go devices and printers folder, add a printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select series HP Deskjet 5600 (HPA) (HP).

  OK, so my black printers ink ran out, so I changed the cartridge.  The cartridge said it is appropriate for my printer.  However, now he usually print anything in black... Help!

  Replaced by Inkrite H-56 who say that it is suitable for Deskjet 5650.  I ran the test page, still no black ink.  Any tips?

  Gary. Having the same problem. Printer would work on 10.6, but only print black and white. In the system preferences / change fax print driver for the printer HP deskjet 5400 series. It seems to work OK. Been printing from photoshop, office files and preview everything is OK for now. Hope this helps

  Unlike the above suggestion, the Deskjet 5650 is no longer supported on Mac OS X 10.6 by HP or Apple.

  Therefore, installation above will not solve the problem because it does not contain drivers for your printer, you can find clearly indicated below:

  Even if HP doesn't provide drivers for this model, you can check that the 3rd part of hpijs pilot who seems to support the Deskjet 5650 of printing:
