Vista SP2 installed, but Keep Me saying to reinstall

OK, so I recently formatted my computer laptop and for the last month, now this dang thing was to tell me to install SP2 so I do and it installs successfully, and I check the update of windows and he said: it has been installed and I am currently at day, then 3 minutes later, he tells me that I need to install it again. I do not understand it asks me to restart my computer or whatever it is, I did it myself several times, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I tried everything and I don't know what to do... and I don't want to do a reformat. Can you please help?

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L45, Intel Dual-Core T2080 @ 1.73Ghz 1 GB Ram hard drive 80 GB 32-bit operating system

  • Blue screen after Windows Vista SP2 installed on my TouchSmart IQ770

All, I came across this thread, after having the same problem (constant BSOD after Vista SP2) installed.  The fix referenced by MS that contains a placeholder file.  However, this most recent patch http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975163/ contains even more recent versions of all the files in question.

For this installation, I went to safe mode and disabled the wireless network card.  I copied the fix of a usbstick on the desktop.  After the reboot of the machine was stable enough to install this fix (before it would break before the fix might get installed).  After the restart, yet once again, I have reactivated the wireless card.

The system seems to be stable again (its place for over an hour now, the previous record was 5 minutes approximately from SP2)

I hope this helps someone to another Google search for Vista SP2 IQ770 BSOD USB

If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    (3) says: "Service pack do not have. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. »

    (5) 1 GOTO.

    Vista x 64, before SP1.

It is rebooted about 20 times now. I'm afraid to stop it... This is infinite or not?

If I wait, he will eventually return to starting in SP1?

  • If I do not have a windows vista sp2 install disk how can I erase all programs and files from the laptop?

I would remove ALL of my laptop which is running vista Sp2 and I have not a disk to install it from what can do?

    Hello

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

    ____________________________________________________________

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

    __________________________________________________________

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

    Hello

    read this

It is about this advice from microsoft

    Windows Update Error 80070002

If you receive the error Windows Update 80070002 of updates, you must remove the temporary files to update that Windows uses to identify updates for your computer. To remove temporary files, stop the Windows Update service, delete the temporary update files, restart the Windows Update service and then try to check for Windows updates again.

One of my users knew a bug in Microsoft Office 2010, so I installed the good Office Update KB3085604.  Unfortunately, the user still knows the problem of Microsoft Office so I decided to check to see if the update was successfully installed.  When I go to "View installed updates", the KB3085604 of office does not appear. I tried to type in the Installed Updates research and he said: "no items match your search.

What is strange, is that if I try to re - install the update, it says it's already installed and if you check the update history, it says that it has been installed. But even once, it does not appear in the installed updates.

I tried to uninstall the update through command prompt using the wusa uninstall and it said that there is no such thing as the update. The computer running Windows 7 32 bit SP 1 and we use Sophos Endpoint Security. Maybe Sophos has played a role but other users of Sophos have been able to install this update without any problem.
