  I have a shared data store that is fully recognized by both my ESXi hosts in pointing that client vSphere vCenter Server. I can browse the data store, download files, delete files, but not even opinion in Lab Manager. I tried to remove and re-add the data several times store. using a different initial host each time. The data store is picked up again by the two hosts and its status shows as usual in the vSphere Client. No matter what I do well, I can't make it appear in the laboratory Manager. Does anyone know where I could go wrong?

  You don't want to say that in the resources tab Datstores, you do not see this at all shared data store? You are in global org global org or not? What version of LM do you use?

  If you are in an organization overall, newly added data store should appear immediately. But if non-global organization, go to the Organization-> properties-> data warehouses and add this new data store.

• Hosts are not displayed in the laboratory Manager

  I have an instance of Lab Manager 4.02. It works fine, until recently, I had to remove hosts from the instance of LM. While everything was closed, and the hosts were removed carefully, I added the new guests, ensuring you configs were identical, networks etc. Same version and everything. The virtual Center took the boxes, and they work fine.

  Lab Manager will, however, not seen. I confirmed repeatedly that none of my services fail, and no newspaper display errors. But the hosts under laboratory Manager section is empty.

  I checked with wireshark, and I get connectivity, as well as the responses of the Director of the lab - virtual Center.

  I brought the former hosts, with the same effect. I did then the labmanager to other VC instance he had never been associated, and he wouldn't see hosts there either.

  What would cause this? Someone at - he already experienced this? I have data in real-time in the current Lab Director, if I prefer not to rebuild.

  The Director of the laboratory cannot be associated with a single vCenter "Data center" object.  He memorizes the Objid of Datacenter and never delete it.  LM 4 should be able to work around this problem, or we can do something to erase the value manually.  But it would be better to try to verify the other steps first has affirmed here.

  > Then under management > resources section, click Resource Pools tab and select the "attach Resource Pool.

  > Select the resouce pool/ESX host you want on the shortcut menu.

  When you perform these steps, take a screenshot (in case it does not work).  I would like to see what objects have the Lab Manager icon already associated with them.

  There is no hierarchy of folder as vCenter Lab Manager interface within.  At most you might consider overall to be the root folder, then you have a depth of 1 to go to the default or any other organization.

  Otherwise, it's really only one level.  If you need to classify them, use the filter to find what you are looking for.

  The determination of the scope in the Lab Manager is more on the role of the user.  If someone does not need to see the library items, make sure a role that don't let them see the library.

  OK, that is.  I imported Active Directory groups in the Lab Manager and everything works fine.  I thought that I would like to delete a user (TOL3 configuration) on the domain controller to see what Lab Manager and it appears greyed out.  I can't however to delete in the laboratory Manager, no matter what I do.  LDAP synchronization do not do it, restart SQL (Lab Manager) service and other services, does not remove and re-import the groups does not work either.   Does anyone have a solution?

  You will need to log into the Manager of laboratory as a "system administrator".

  Change the organization 'Global '.

  Now you should get disable it and remove the option to remove the user from Lab manager.

  Open the Task Manager->, click on users-> right click on another user who isn't currently active and choose log off.

  This can occur when the user account is not properly disconnected.

  Well, I don't know why this is happening, but if I try to add a disk to my windows system, it will not automatically add a drive letter, but it will add a drive letter to my USB and USB external drives without problem. I looked all over Google and I have not seen one solution to this problem short of a total erase and start again, and at this point, I'm not be done with everything I installed and might have to reinstall.

  I have other systems that do not have this problem. Just this one windows 7 install x 64. Can anyone shed some light on why this happens and how to fix it or if there is even a fix for it.

  Just to follow and finish this, the old MAIN drive has had some problems and was

  continues to worsen, it ends up by crashed.  scannow revealed some Windows system

  Files were corrupted and could not be repaired.  After the crash, I used the blank hard disc 500 gig

  and did a restore of the system since the disks created with the purchase and restored the system to

  "DAY 1".   Yes all the data and installed programs are missing, but I reinstalled my software.

  Adding external or internal disks worked without any problem now.

  I created a Windows 7/64 system repair disc.

  I created an Image of the system.

  I have a backup plan.

  I do the scheduled backup.

  I learned a lesson...

• BlackBerry smartphone 8330 disconnect in the middle of the synchronization of the Manager Office, but still connected to the computer

  I am a new user.  I love my Blackberry 8330.

  However, yesterday I came across a problem where the 8330 disconnects constantly in the middle of operations with the Desktop Manager.  He does not often occur in one place.  I got several error types: connector specific error 0X80040fb3, cannot synchronize, etc.  Spontaneous disconnects are not confined to the calendar, tasks, or address book - it happened during all these and sometimes before it had even begun to synchronize.  I pulled the battery once.  It synced well after that just to have the same problems the next day.

  This happens in the middle of other operations using the Desktop Manager as well.  As the backup files.  It will shut off in the middle of one of the backup files, or will only stay connected long enough to a backup file.

  In all this, the computer recognizes the blackberry as connected and the blackberry continues to display the "connect to the computer.

  The Start Menu and taskbar will often hang or disappear after that the Desktop Manager ceases to recognize the Blackberry and then the Blackberry is always connected.  Once the Blackberry is disconnected, the start menu and taskbar is released from the hanging or reappears.

  Have you tried to use other third-party programs to "manipulate" the discs?  It seems that even if Palcouk $ million question with is it compatible, so I shot to the top of Partition Magic site and see the this PM 8 is not compatible with Windows 7.  I would try to see if you can access the partition from the command prompt, but I promise that would work.  Have you created a backup of your data before you do?

• VI, disconnected from the console

  Hi, I'm hopeing someone can give me advice here.

  We have 4 ESXi3.5 servers each with about 9 virt servers running on them.

  This morning one of the VI fits as disconnected in VI client, (even if I still had the possibility to disconnect) all its servers perform very well.

  I disconnected through the VI client, but it still won't let me not re-connect.

  I can't connect to it passes directly through the VI Client or Explorer, I have no problem with the other 3.

  If I go to the rack I can connect on it without problem, and like I said all the machines work fine, I just can't handle.

  Anyone have any idea where I'm going from here?

  Relatively new to the virtual computer so that any help would be appreciated.
