• Addition of Tesla M6 to Cisco B200 M4, error in vmware plugin

  I am trying to install my new M6 Tesla GPU card in my 6.0 ESXi host. I installed the software nvidia on the host and which seems ok. I can add the GPU card to my VMS in vcenter as well, BUT when I try to turn on the virtual machine, I get the following error:

  Not able to initialize plugin ' / usr/lib64/vmware/plugin/libnvidia-vgx.so' for vGPU 'grid_m6-8 q.

  I tried all the other GPU profiles and I get the same error for each GPU profile. I've updated my 6.0 to UP2 ESXi host and which don't seem to have any effect. I use the version of the driver host 352.83.

  I also checked the compatibility for this tesla M6 card list and my cisco M4 b200 is listed as compatible.

  For troubleshooting, I ran the following commands:

  After some research, I figured this out.  Looks like the Tesla M6 and M60 Telsa get shipped in mode 'compute', which is not compatible with VMware or other hypervisors.  SO, you will need to download a gpumodeswitch utility, start the server with this utility and change the mode of the map to 'graphics '.  I hope this helps a few people running in this!  Check out the nvidia site for more information on their GPUmodeswitch utility.

  Because we want to have a complete picture of our physical environment (before go us completely virtualized) I tried to use the Planer capability integrated into Virtual Center.

  The tool has a lot of potential, but without documentation, there are also a lot of trial and error, so that I didn't have the time.

  I have seen also some web reporting tool, that I could not access...

  Anyone know where to find the docs?

  the one you see on vcenter is a light version of the actual capacity planner that I mentioned. If you can find your local peer vmware or vmware that they could help you, perhaps in a free way... • Visual Studio 2012 and VMWare workstation plugin does not work

  Today we moved to Visual Studio 2010 Visual Studio 2012 in our project.

  After installing VS2012, I installed VMWare workstation 9. To my surprise, it did not appear any menu in Visual Studio VMware. In the previous version, the menu item will automatically appear by the installation of VMWare. We use the VMWare plugin to debug Visual Studio applications on the virtual machine remotely.

  Does VMWare workstation 9.0 support Visual studio plugin for VS2012?

  My version of VMWare is 9.0.0 build-812388 and my version of Visual Studio is Visual Studio Premium 2012, 11.0.50727.1 RTMREL.

  The VS plugin that comes with 9 Workstation does not load in VS 2012 due to some changes in the interface COM vs.  The next update to 9 Workstation will correct this problem.

• Location of the vCenter vCEnter Server Appliance 6.0.0 vs Linux plugin file

  We have a plugin where we were using vCenter 6.0 hosted on a Linux server.  I could get my plugin files in /var/lib/vmware/vsphere-client/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity and /import/storage.

  We then deployed a vCenter Server Appliance 6.0.0 our plugin and it has a different directory structure.  The structure of directory changes to /var/lib/vmware.

  Where can I find the folder of vsphere-client-serenity or its equivalent.

  Or plugins to treat device unlike a vCenter 6.0 linux host?

• Error "a plugin is required to view this content" for the integrated Google map, but plugin not identified.

  When I try to view a page that has a map Google map into the page, I get the message error 'a plugin is required to view this content. However, I don't know which plugin, where to find, etc. I tried searching for this question but could not reach anyone else has a similar problem, or there seems to be a plugin for Google Maps that I can find.

  So in other words, the browsers that can use the object tag will do it, but for those who do not, the embed is still there. Does it work?

• Java plugin does not load on Firefox

  I'm working on a machine without administrator rights. Firefox fails to load Java plugin even thought it is installed. Summer search internet and found this and this.
  I checked the users on this machine really has only read access to HKLM\Software\mozilla.org. Is this the problem why does not load plugin? He said that this should be fixed in new versions of Java and FF.

  I use Firefox 11.0, Java 6 Update 13, Windows 7 Enterprise.

  You can try the following: go to start run & open %appdata%\Mozilla\, create a folder named plugins (where it does not exist). then you need to go to the directory of the java program and the subfolder bin (probably C:\Program Files\Java\j2re < version > \bin\) and copy all the .dll files that begin with np*.dll and paste them into the plugins folder you created before. This must be repeated for each user on the machine.

  in the case where firefox then detects the plugin, I would recommend you keep the disabled plugin and activated only upon request (or use an extension like noscript to create a white list of trusted sites that can use the plugin). I have seen many infections than to exploit vulnerabilities in older versions of java, also on accounts with limited user rights...

  Nikon D90 was supported in elements Camera raw version 4.6, so please upgrade your camera raw to version 4.6 or higher. To do this, please download the elements camera raw 5.6 updates at the bottom of the location and install it. This may solve your problem.

• Plugins does not work in After Effects CC15.3

  Everything worked perfectly yesterday. A project of client using some of my favorite plugins like Trapcode Form and particular.

  After update today, would continue my project where I left.

  However, the majority of my plugins disappeared, leaving me unable to progress, short on time.

  I had to completely start over, with a new idea and the standard after effects plugins.

  I tried to reinstall them, but they may not appear.

  Did anyone facing this problem too?

  Like HippieBoy, but on Windows 10, I tried to copy the plugins trapcode manually from the

  "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015\Support Files\Plug-ins\Trapcode.

  TO

  "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015.3\Support Files\Plug-ins\Trapcode."

  and my trapcode plugins where backward. The amazing thing is that I have installed the Plugin Trapcode after having updated to 2015.3 CC. The reason was probably that the Trapcode plugins trial version installed to AE CC 2015 and that the folder was still here the licensed version of Trapcode installed in the old folder.

• Certificate expired on a server that has only the client VMware and VMware workstation

  Our scanners detected security certificate expired vmware on a server. The only products currently running on this server are VMware workstation and the vSphere client. I looked in all the installed certificates and their lack of vmware. When I open a web browser and go to the IP address of servers using port 443 I get a message of invalid certificate and look a certificate it shows expired recently, and was published by VMware. Where can I find this certificate and what is used to indicated the products installed on this system?

  The certificate was for workstation server configurations (connection sharing VMs/Remote). Just disabled the sharing feature because it is not used.

  Find the certificate in the program data-file VMware. Could not find information on renewal, only how to replace it.

• Problems with the plugin plugInModeGray32 imageMode import format?

  I have a format plugin where I have everything works fine with plugInModeGray16 to import, but I would really eventually have more precision. If I try

  	formatRecord-> imageMode = plugInModeGray32;
  	formatRecord-> depth = 32;

  He throws up, even if I actually do not set the buffers. With the help of pluginModeGray16 and not affecting don't not tampons gets me a picture empty but dimensioned correctly. Is there a limitation with do import 32-bit files?

  Reference, I saw on another thread a few years back where someone couldn't use plugInModeRGB96 and was falling back to plugInModeRGB48 for the contents of 32-bit so it seems that there is something that you can travel there, but nothing in the thread suggested a solution.

  So I did some more research and found the problem in the case of other successes for the. Even through pluginModeGray16 is what is expected, Photoshop do not like plugInModeGray32 and really wants that you just use plugInModeGrayScale;

  	formatRecord-> imageMode = plugInModeGrayScale;
  	formatRecord-> depth = 32;

  I have not tried, but I suspect the other dev having problems with plugInModeRGB96 might be the same problem. Just use RGB and set the 32-bit/channel in the depth.

  Can someone tell me the difference (apart from size) between the "full" version of v6.0.2 softwareupdate website and the much smaller version offered on the normal download site?

  VMware-player-full - 6.0.2 - 1744117.exe.tar to softwareupdate does in fact contain the VMware Tools where the normal Download VMware-player - 6.0.2 - 1744117.exe does not work.  BTW, I'm 100% sure!

  Other versions for softwareupdate in the past usually didn't have VMware tools included in the base install, and I don't know why VMware chose to use the full installer to this place and not make it available to normal downloads.  Given the number of users who have a problem with downloading VMware Tools through the user interface of VMware Player, you would think that VMware will offer both as they do with VMware Fusion.

  I am struggling to find a way to properly install Linux Fedora 18 as a guest computer tools in Windows XP host.

  I managed to download the .exe and I learned, thanks to this forum, that a .iso is created in the right folder by running this program. I mounted the virtual disk in VMWare Player where I installed Fedora 18 and I extracted successfully the. tar.gz, that I placed in the folder "Download".

  However, I have another question and I'm stuck because I can't find more help on this forum:

  When I try to run ' vmware - install.pl ' through the terminal as root (by typing the following command: "sudo./vmware-install.pl" and my password), I get the following response "sudo: cannot run." ("/ vmware - install.pl: no such file or directory ').

  I found in another forum that might be because I do not have law libraries to read the Pearl program, but I have not found which library should I download then.

  Explanations:

  It is the hyphen on the folder plugin cr2hdr3 beta that prevents the loading of the predefined settings dir!
