• Acer VN7 - 791G feeds no more

  My Acer VN7 - 791G connect not more when you press the power button.

  -No noise "light" can be heard when you press the power button. The fans do not start still turn.

  -L' laptop computer only supplies not on regardless of the charger is connected or not.

  -Tried pressing the power button for a minute without success.

  -Laptop worked perfectly the day before.

  -Last stop occurred via the session of Win10, and then close the locking cover.

  I read in some messages that I could try to remove the battery or the RAM, but with this model of laptop, it is not possible to easily remove the battery or to access the RAM.

  I installed Windows 7 on my VN7 - 791G. I changed the startup type in the bios using "Legacy" instead of "UEFI".

  Changed all my partitions (front: 4 partitions on the first drive [TPG], now: a single partition [MBR]). No partition more "Windows Boot loader.

  Before doing this action (installation of Windows 7), I saved all my system (factory settings) on a USB (32 GB), as recommended by ACER (using their tool installed with Windows 8.1).

  But now, I can't go back to 8.1 for Windows using my USB device (I can start with this unit): the choice of "Re-init PC" does not work!

  Could you help me please? Orders may be advanced for use on partitions or the boot loader?

  you need to completely erase your HARD drive, it means delete the MBR and the partition, or convert the MBR to GPT.

  You can do this by using partition wizard bootable iso:

  Create bootable with iso downloaded media, starting from the completely wipe the HARD drive, then restart and try to use your recovery media.

  New to the Acer forum so Hello everyone.

  I upgraded my old laptop to a VN7 - 791 G that came with a 60 GB SSD and 1 TB of"relief".

  In view of the OS is installed on the SSD with the recovery partition I guess and size growing bone, I'm afraid it will soon run out of healthy space. I just set up the laptop, only I installed the software is update of Windows, AV and MS Office 2013 and there is only 20 GB left

  Can someone advise ACERS taking the SSD can be a little shy of the space, in view of the increase in the size of a BONE?

  I doubt that the repair of Acer in your neighborhood Center would do that sort of thing, I know that we are not here to the United States. If the client wants to put a SSD in their unit, it is for them to do, or they can take to a local technician to do, but Acer would not support the SSD upgrade as if not delivered with him. You can check, but I want to just make sure that your expectations are defined.

  In most cases, 8/8.1 drivers are fully functional in 10. Install and check.

  My suggestion would be to remove the installed drivers and install again to see if that solves it, this is clearly a driver issue because it works with another application. I also wonder if there may be an update for the application of the camera through the Windows store, maybe.

• VN7 791G - does not start the Windows operating system

  So I got my Acer VN7 - 791 G for 5 months now and until last month, everything was going fine until suddenly, the system has become VERY slow (operating system and programs have been suspended) and the boot process has long redicilously. To exclude a software problem, that I decided to restore the default computer via Acer recovery, hoping that would solve the problem.

  Unfortuantely it's still very slow after a successful reset and all of a sudden one day after a reboot the system decided he did not want to join the opening scene of session windows more and decided to stay on the loading screen Acer or the loading screen 'Prepare auto repair' Acer.

  I decided to leave the system to run to see if it would eventually reach the opening of windows session, but he never did and she now does is continue to stay on the Acer loading screen or gives me a black screen with the mouse pointer (nothing happens if I have nothing at this point (, or if I leave it running).   Today, I ran into a problem with my helmet, I have new headphones 2 days ago and everything was fine until this morning where I could only hear left of my headphones. I thought it's fault to Atria then I tried it on my other pc and they worked. I tried to reinstall Realtek drivers couple times with different versions, but no luck. If the plug is broken and he can hear only one side? • VN7 - 791G: Wifi slow and unreliable when a USB drive is plugged into the USB ports on the right.

  WiFi becomes quick and reliable whne the memory stick is disconnected. Always reproducible. Does not occur when the memory stick is plugged into the USB port on the left. Also has anyone seen this behavior?

  The explanation is simple. I'm sure that the memory stick is a USB 3.0, a plugged in a USB 3.0 port. The problem is that all USB 3.0 devices generate a 2.4 Ghz interference, as it generates interference on the frequency working on wireless. The solution is to connect the player to another port or to spend the 5 GHz wifi if your router supports. The wifi antenna is probably very close to the port and to the USB key.

  This is known for a long time, and has nothing to do with the laptop.

  This causes a problem also with a wireless mouse, if the receiver is connected next to a USB 3.0 stick or any other device.

  Hi all.  Bought this laptop in July 15, installed 10 Windows, everything has been fine.  Until yesterday... you press the power button and nothing.  I always keep plugged in, the battery light is on (blue) showing a full charge.

  I removed the power cord, hoping to leave the battery discharged, but still the light went only to yellow (low-power sense).  Other than that, it is totally insensitive.  I tried holding down the power button for different durations, but still nothing.

  Furthermore, there are suggestions?  Anyone experienced this?

• Upgrade of VN7 bluetooth devices - 791G no longer work after Windows 10

  After the upgrade to Windows 10 on my 2 month, Acer VN7 - 791G, could not pair my mouse Logitech bluetooth mouse, my bluetooth speakers could not pair and could not by Nexus 7.  All these devices have been works fine on Win 8.1 earlier.

  In Device Manager, only the generic drivers Bluetooth of Windows, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and THE enumerator showed (dated dated 21/06/2006).

  Under network adapters, the display driver has been the NVA of Qualcomm Atheros QCA64x4 10.0.0.62 dated Date 18/05/2015.

  I checked that this model is indeed compatible under ACER for Windows 10 website.  I was also check the ACER drivers to win 10 for this model, but there is no new update Bluetooth.

  I downloaded the 8.1 earn more and install, but they would not always work (Microsoft ones are still showing in Device Manager).

  I had to actually downgrade back to 8.1 days earlier because of this problem but thought I would try to update to Windows 10 again, hoping that it would work, but still no luck.

  I had google but can't seem to find a solution and think that I need a bluetooth update driver for Windows 10 of Acer or Broadcom.  The site of Atheros do not have Windows 10 bluetooth drivers as well.

  I might have to go back again and try again in a few months time unless someone could please point me in the right direction.

  Hi, so I only installed the Atheros drivers because what's in my system (I visually checked before when I added an SSD). I had no luck with NFA222 and have not installed the 3.0.0.373 (a way).

  I also tried to install a few other atheros, drivers of win10/win8.1 I found other sources. None of those who work.

  My standard method of installing the new drivers is to uninstall all existing, then use the available to download setup.exe. Then restart.

  Here's what I look at. Note the LG Mini is my active BT stereo. I had also connected it to my android, so I'm sure things work as expected.
