• Qosmio G20: How to get rid of the large green volume screen?

  Hello

  I have a Qosmio G20 I bought at the Japan last year and have since changed drivers and English operating system. However one thing ive noticed, distinguished by the Japanese put in place, it is that whenever I adjust the Volume level by using the wheel on the right side of the laptop, a large green level Volume display appears on the screen. I want to get rid of this cos it takes place close to half of the screen. The Japanese version had this problem.

  I checked all the settings in the Panel and the various sections of both properties but couldn't find anything.

  Suggestions how to remove it? Qosmio users have this on their screen?

  Berga is right. This volume indication disappears shortly after.

  This is the first time I had an Hp laptop and I just noticed that there not display when im changing the volume using volume keys, it works and all but just no display on the screen so I have to manually check the volume level.

  Same question about the brightness setting, I think it would be much easier to check the level of volume and brightness, if she had an on-screen display.

  Is it normal that my laptop? If this is not the case, how can I fix it?

  But now there is no indicator screen when I adjust the volume or brightness of the screen with the Fn + F key.  It works well, but without indication of the screen and it's really uncomfortable.

• HP dv7 volume screen

  I have a dv7-4170us, but I don't know if it's common for all dv7 or simply dv7-4170us or just my only specific.  He got a few days ago and read a comment on amazon on the way when you look at say a youtube video in full screen or play a video game, which takes up the entire screen, when you adjust the volume or click the mute button, the video will return to normal size or the game will be minimized and then I have to redo the video full screen or click on the game in my taskbar to get full size again.

  I was hoping that this would not happen to me also. Thus, one of the first things I did when I had this laptop, I'm open a youtube video and spent in full screen and increases the volume and boom, it closes full screen.

  Even happened when I tried video game.

  I contacted HP online support, and I downloaded the utlity pilot tone (do not know if it is exactly called) and a BIOS driver, nothing done.

  So, I hope that the community of HP can tell me if this is something that all of the dv7-4170us models do and if anyone has found a solution. Because it starts to get boring.

• Windows 7 volume screen bar minimizes the game

  I just plug a PC brand new & I was looking to play my game and all work nice & smooth, but when I adjust the volume, it minimizes the game. Is there a setting that allows me to stop doing that?

  Try to uninstall/reinstall the drivers for the audio controller.  Also try to uninstall the game and reinstall.  In addition, with what is a new computer, it should still be under warranty.  Contact the OEM support or return for a replacement or a new PC.  I hope that this information is beneficial.

• No volume screen after a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate

  Recently, I started College, my program gave me a free upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Not having a clean installation since the purchase of this PC, I thought it was the right time to do it. I realize that when clean installation of windows, you will lose a few pilots, after a lot of research I was unable to find anything to display on for volume orders. If someone is able to find something that could solve my problem, it would be much appreciated.

• Frozen on screen volume

  My Sport Clip was working fine until today. I listened to him and he just stopped playing. I looked at the screen and it was the screen (the one that appears when you set the volume) volume. I couldn't get out of this screen. Shut down the power button to reset and then rebooted the player but it starts immediately to the volume screen. I have reset several times now and have the button for as long as a minute boots, always on-screen volume. Anything else I can try?

• Problem with the controls volume/internet on my laptop HP HDX 16

  I have a laptop of HP HDX 16, around the age of 8 months. I keep having problems with the touch buttons that controls volume, bass/treble and the internet. The buttons randomly disappear by themselves, turn on and off Alternatively my volume/bass/treble from top to bottom and my internet.

  I have updated the drivers for the buttons to quick launch without result. I've also just updated my computer to Windows 7, so my Bios is brand new (the problem started before I updated to 7).

  As you can imagine, get my internet randomly stops and for the black volume screen blocking what I was doing and hang my computer is getting pretty annoying. Any help on this would be surprising.

  I also have the same problem. HDX 16, around the age of 3 months.

  I found to do all sorts of updates the driver, uninstall, System Restore (no), and does not help.

  I'm still on Vista, but when I get my kit to upgrade to Windows 7, I had planned to see if it resolved the problem.

  Technical support HP told me that if a recovery does not resolve the problem, it must be delivered to them, and the band of totality quicklaunch may have to be modified.

  I intend to make the recovery during the holiday season.

  Based on the fact that you got your computer 8 months ago, I assume that you have not used an upgrade kit. Which means, I would recommend doing a recovery before calling the technical support because they will just have to insist that you do anyway.

  An interim solution, when the volume control locks your screen is at the end of the process called "SmartMenu.exe". It will reload the next time that you start your computer.

• Update of the "couldn't find any output device" after the Sierra

  I've updated my iMac (model 14.2) of OS X El Capitan with macOS Sierra yesterday. The update went smoothly except that once the complete update, the Office and I logged the volume in the menu bar icon is grayed out. I immediately opened settings, assuming that the update had deselected somehow my default audio output device (a pair of external speakers, in this case). But when I went on the audio menu, I was surprised to see "not found any output device.

  I have looked around a bit and have not yet found anyone else with this problem. I became so desperate to get my audio that I even tried installing 3rd party 'Voodoo' audio driver, but it gave me the option for "Digital out (HDMI)" which is of no use to me, I have the mac connected to a TV via a VGA adapter and it does not have a HDMI adapter. One thing it stated however is that somehow during my got deleted and never replaced Applehda driver upgrade, or install a driver on 3rd wouldn't have added of output devices to list (albeit dimmed those outside and totally dysfunctional). So at this point, that I am at a loss, I know not how to replace the driver, where or how I would install it so any help is greatly appreciated. Danke!

  Thanks for the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra! I see that you have lost your audio output device once you upgrade. No worries. Great way to try to get your audio works using another audio driver. Given that this has not solved the problem, please try to reset the NVRAM.
  

  What is NVRAM?

  A small amount of memory on your computer called "non-volatile random - access memory" or NVRAM, stores certain settings in a location that OS X can access quickly. Settings that are stored in NVRAM are dependent on the type of Mac you use and the types of devices on it.
  Information stored in the NVRAM may include:
  The speaker volume
  Screen resolution
  Selection of boot drive
  These latest panic the kernel, if applicable
  If you encounter problems with these features, you may need to reset the NVRAM on your computer. For example, if your Mac starts up from a bootdisk other than that specified in startup disk preferences, or a question mark icon appears briefly at the start of your Mac.

  After updating iTunes yesterday, itunes is not as strong as before; of course, I changed volume in the menu bar as well as in volume ('her') maximum system configuration. If I use VLC, the volume is OK; Therefore, I don't think it's a problem of speakers of the Mac and iTunes.

  Hello Haperic!

  From what you have posted, the sound after update of Mac is not as strong through iTunes but is fine using VLC or other applications. We certainly have to check a few things with the volume.

  If you haven't done so already, we'll leave iTunes in the menu next to the  iTunes when iTunes is active. Then quit iTunes.  Or command + Q on the keyboard.  Open later and try to play a few things after.

  No change after that, then go ahead and restart the Mac and try again, please.

  If it's still the same after the restart, then we'll reset the NVRAM/PRAM memory.

  How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

  Reset the NVRAM

  1. Stop your Mac.
  2. Look for the following keys on the keyboard: command (⌘), Option, P, and R.
  3. Turn on your Mac.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys, immediately after hearing the startup sound.
  5. Hold down these keys until the computer restarts and you hear the tone of starting for a second time.
  6. Release the keys.

  After resetting the NVRAM, you may need to reconfigure the parameters of the speaker volume, screen resolution, selection of boot disk and zone information.

• Dead button, mini home iPad does not

  I left my mini ipad charging for a whole day yesterday and was just dead when I arrived home (connected at about 07:30, got home around 22:00).

  I tried locking push button and the "home" button and went into account before that, my home button works well so I think that there is no guarantee that I can perform the reset in this way. The last time I had similar problem last year (the case was also dead after left load for a long time), I took to a third party service center and was functioning properly shortly after.   Turn on the AssistiveTouch

  When you turn on the AssistiveTouch, you will see the AssistiveTouch menu. You can drag it to any edge of the screen, then press the menu to open it.

• Unable to get drivers 64-bit for Windows 10 through Boot Camp

  I installed 10 windows in my Macbook Air 11 inches early 2015 (4 GB ram, processor i5 1.6 hz, 128 GB ssd) via boot camp, installation went well but I see questions wih the screen brightness and volume. When I checked the driverd they show that 32 bits. Anyone successful with the 64-bit windows installations without going through any volume, screen brightness problems? If so can you please help me to get the 64-bit drivers?

  Are there unknown devices in Device Manager? Do you think that all riders Apple under entry HID? The driver 64 bit 32 bit vs is little probable that the issue.
