  Different laptops have different combination of FN keys. On Toshiba laptops, you can change the display by pressing FN + F6/F7 and on other laptops, you have other F - keys for this. There is no standard for these FN keys.

  After fishing trawl of the internet, I did find a solution to this. I have to sort the Beats button using the software of HP Quick Launch, based on this thread.

  After you perform a new installation on the laptop, the final volume and brightness keys work, although there is no animation (which was here), to indicate a scale of how light/strong something is. So it's minor, but I feel like it used to be here, then perhaps it is a simple solution. Any ideas what I need to do to get the brightness/volume animations that appear when you use the fn keys?

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  ** Turn it back on. Sometimes a reboot will solve this problem.* *.

  1. close all programs and stop the laptop.

  2. remove all power supplies (battery and power cord)

  3. empty the remaining power by pressing the power on button for 30 seconds (even if you have no power).

  4. put the battery back and start the computer

  5. once fully loaded, right-click on the system tray and select Properties.

  6. This will bring to the top of the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" dialog box. The "Notification area" tab.

  7. at the bottom of the tab, is the area 'icons systems. " There is a checkbox for "Power". "check" the box and click on apply or OK.

  Also update your graphics card drivers.
