Volume scroll bar appears not

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, product number: VM224UA #ABC. It runs on Windows 7, with a 64-bit operating system.

My volume seems to work very well (by clicking on the "speaker" icon and using the scroll bar touch on the keyboard to control volume. I used to be able to see a bar indication of volume on my screen, I manually used the portable touchscreen control for the volume scroll bar.

Does anyone have an idea how to restore the Visual volume bar? Thank you very much.

Hello

Download and reinstall HP MediaSmart SmartMenu on the following link.

When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  • scroll bar does not appear in Safari

    When I apply the attribute 'auto' or 'scrolling' to a symbol in dashboard animate, the scroll bar does not appear in Safari.

    No work around?

    I discovered the solution / workaround. If this happened to you, after you have created your symbol with scrolling of content, go to the left hand from the bottom of the dashboard interface box animate and make sure "Clip" is turned on. Now when you test in Safari, your scroll bars will appear. Yay!

  • When the page opens, the scroll bar appears only if I move to bottom of page with the mouse

    It started last week with Firefox 5 and continues with the upgrade to Firefox 6. Each new page that opens in Firefox does not display a scroll bar. By entering the lower right of the page with the mouse and move the mouse to the right, the scroll bar appears and is usable. This "correction" is required on each new page.

    This condition looks similar to the condition met when Firefox 5 was introduced. The fix was to open appearances in tools then choose the default setting. This patch doesn't work anymore.

  • Abnormal activity - a volume control bar appears in the upper-left

    I installed Windows 8 PRO (64-bit), on my Dell laptop (model Inspiron-5520) 05/11/2012.
    For the last 15 days or more, I'm observing some abnormal activity which I do not know if it is due to a virus, malware or some drivers / registry corruption.
    Whenever I open a Windows session (e.g. after reboot or out of the MODE STANDBY), a volume control bar appears in the upper-left corner & it keeps inhibition - reactivate up until I got a hit. This volume control bar is similar to that seen after that now both pressed keys (Fn & Speaker-Mute).
    I took the question to Kaspersky Antivirus, but still it is not fixed. I scanned the whole system of Rescue CD (bootable) of Kaspersky and Avira antivirus also scanned the whole system using Microsoft msert.exe service. But this virus as activity does not stop.
    I have observed that if the WINDOWS AUDIO service is stopped through msconfig, this virus as activity stops. But then speakers & microphone stop working.
    After crossing research on various Web sites on the internet, I found a site that helped me to fix the registry of the Windows Audio service. And it has worked very well; but it lasted only 2-3 reboots. Then after that, it is indeed.

    Can you please do the necessary to let me know if it is really a virus / malware or not. And the solution to get over.
    Thank you best regards &,.

    Hello

    Volume control you see is normal Win 8...

    He does the things you describe are not...

    I doubt it's apparent virus but... it's very probably an audio driver\program any that is defective...

    Look in the tab Services from msconfig and hide all Microsoft Services and see what remains...

    You can also view the Startup tab of the the Task Manager for a suspect...

    It could be something as simple as a pilot action which was only supposed to run once, but loads with boot every time by a malfunctioning...

    There is text on your site, don't know if this could be the cause of the problem...

    .. as you reduce the unavailable site in size down, it seems really low...

  • When the browser window content Cup (was too small for the page) scroll bar will not scroll content cropped.

    Hey everybody,

    I have a new problem with Muse. It's my first Muse site, all my previous web work was HTML CSS, but I'm trying to learn the programs. However, I have a weird problem with my page... When the browser is too small - aka the window displaying the site is cropping some content, the scroll bar appears, but it won't scroll... I don't understand why. It seems to be the case in all browsers. Similarly, on some computers my footer is missing or invisible, not sure why, but on my computer I don't have the problem in all browsers (firefox, chrome, safari). Any advice?

    In addition, in site properties that I have the minimum height, the value to show the entire page, don't know what is happening. I also noticed, the scroll bar appears when the page is cut off, it will not simply scroll...

    Looks like you have your content made the fallen on the homepage... or on a layer that is pinned. Probably the header layer.

  • I can't get the scroll bar appears

    I have two questions: 1. the JPanel locked in the get does not resize when the dialog box is made smaller or larger.
    2. the scroll bar does not appear.

    Here is my code:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import javax.swing.*;

    public class AJPanelScrollTest extends JDialog
    {
         public static void main(String[] args)
         {
              JDialog outerDialog = new JDialog();
              JPanel thePanel = new JPanel();
              JScrollPane theScroll = new JScrollPane(thePanel);
              theScroll.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(400, 400));

              outerDialog.setLayout(new BorderLayout());
              outerDialog.add(theScroll, BorderLayout.NORTH);
              outerDialog.setVisible(true);
              outerDialog.pack();
              outerDialog.setDefaultCloseOperation(WindowConstants.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE);
                                    outerDialog.setTitle("Some Title");

         }
    }

    Which should be good, or you could just do:

    //outerDialog.add(theScroll, BorderLayout.NORTH);
    outerDialog.add(theScroll);

    You must understand what the constraints of a LayoutManager OQ before using. By default, a component is added to the CENTER, which gets all the space available.

  • Horizontal scroll bar appear?

    How can I do a horizontal scroll bar appears so when the web page is resized contained custom moved around or get compacted? Example: http://www.techrepublic.com/ (thebrowser to resize and you will notice that after a certain amount of resizing of a horizontal scroll bar is displayed)

    All my width in my CSS values in percentages and when the page is narrowed the happy result is compact.

    Change your HTML code like this:

    Add

    just after the openingtag.

    Add

    just before the closingtag. In doing so, you adjust all the existing content in a DIV called "container".

    Now, CSS - replace your current code with this:

    @charset "utf-8";

    / * CSS document * /.

    {body

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

  • A centered page moves when the scroll bar appears DW Cs5?

    Hi everyone, I've noticed that when you have centered web pages, the pages annoyingly move when a scroll bar appears. Sometimes a page is longer than the browser window, and therefore a scroll bar appears on the right that allows the Viewer to scroll down.

    But of course this looks like garbage, what happens is it so the page in the center of the space remaining after the scroll bar appears so jilts next page to another depending on whether the page has a scroll bar of the centres.

    Y at - it Center a code that can make the browser page in the same place, so that the scroll bar feeds into space on the right side rather than shoot the entire page on the left. ?

    Thanks a lot for any help

    Gareth

    This page IS the EXAMPLE.

    You don't need to do anything except increase the size of the text (Ctrl +++) or resize the browser window to force a scroll bar.

    (I guess you don't read description).

    View source in your browser to see the code.

    I threw this link to prove my previous point.  You cannot change the behavior of the browser without resorting to ugly things that don't work well in nature.

  • Drop-down menus and scroll bar does not work

    I had a lap top 8 windows based perflectly until about a week ago, when I download updates for windows 8: when I started to scroll to the bottom of the window, as soon as I stopped by pressing my left click of the mouse, the scroll bar would automatically scroll to the top. I scroll down again and it automatically scrolls to the top of the page again. Similarly, this problem occurs with the help of the drop-down menus, it's not appear or deploy in a flash that won't let you point any option.

    This is to occur with all the drop down menus: on internal programs as well as in the internet sites. Even the menus on this assignment window, refers to windows 7, as the first choice and I cannot change. The problem is the WINDOWS 8 and its updates.
