  I just new DELL Vostro 3560 i7 3612QM/8/500 + 32/Win 8/money.

Whenever I put the laptop to sleep/hibernate and resume both AMD 7670 M and graphics cards intel HD 4000 are on. This configuration generates a lot of heat and drains the battery quickly. To activate the AMD 7670 M graphics card off I have to start and close the application that is configured in Hi Performance mode in switchable graphics options (app dedicated to run on AMD 7670 M). I discovered that stop AMD external events Utility service solves this problem, but then I lose the option of switching works only HD 4000. Is anyone having this problem and knows how to fix?   Find a solution by creating a file amdsw.bat with the command: NET START "AMD external events Utility | NET STOP "AMD external events Utility". Now when I need AMD graphics card I run the amdsw.bat file that starts AMD external events Utility service to switch to AMD card. Before you put the laptop to sleep, I run the same file of amdsw.bat again to stop the service.

  100 c sounds rediciulous. Certainly look clean your fan + reapply thermal paste.

  Mines were running at a normal web surfing 40 stable c, 50 c, watch a movie and 60 c, play games like Civ 5 at low temperature.

  The Vostro 3560 has a SATA 2.0 port but most of the SATA 3.0 drives are backward compatible.

  OK, I found a solution

  -Download the 1 x 1 Dell Dell Wireless WLAN 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz), the Bluetooth v4.0 + HS driver (link: Network_Broadcom_W7_A01_Setup-WTD28_ZPE)

  -Run the file. It will extract to c:\dell\drivers\WTD28. Then an error/warning occurs and that execution is aborted.

  -Open the Windows Device Manager. Find the missing element of WLAN with the yellow exclamation point (here name like 'Network controller')

  -Update the driver manually and use c:\dell\drivers\WTD28 as the path of the driver. It will automatically install and start working.

• Vostro 3550 graphics issues on Windows 8

  I downloaded and installed Windows 8 on my laptop Vostro 3550 (dual boot with Win7 Pro x 64 original). It would go as far as "Installing devices" and then the screen turns off. After several failed attempts (> 10) (woluld screen off but would continue to the HD activity), I went on the Win8 forums and found a few others having the same problem. Someone suggested using an external monitor and verification. Once I installed the monitor, I found that the Win 8, installed correctly, but no could not recognize the internal display. Everything works fine in Win8, except that she does not confess the internal display. So I installed video drivers Win7 from Dell, still no change. Update of said Win8 then there is new video drivers Intel it installed with no improvement. Works with the external monitor, but doesn't detect internal monitor. I'm not sure whether video driver issue or something to do with the chipset drivers. Pretty Win8 works fine on an old laptop HP Pavillion 5200 as well as one on an Intel assembled card mother Core2 Quad desktop with ATI graphics card. My Vostro config is Win7 Pro x 64, 8 GB of RAM, 320 7200 RPM HD, Intel HD3000 graphics card.

  Can someone help me with this problem.

  A11 BIOS is the fix for this problem. A11 BIOS fixes black screen on Windows 8 (after installation).
