It stops immediately at:

  I don't have a windows disc or I can take this form. nor can I preform a system restore because I get an error saying

  the memory could not be read.

  Ive ran chkdsk and all is well.

  Could someone please shed some light on this for me?

  Be advised that I'm not this computer - repair - letter... If that makes sense...

  I wonder where can I go to buy a Windows repair disc so I can solve this problem.

  Error code 0 x 80070017 means generally bad media. I would recommend that you download the file again, you may have corruption in ISO itself. So if possible, download the file again. After you download the new copy, try burning at a lower setting 4 X or 8 X speed. Once you burn the disc on a lower setting with the new ISO standard, and then see if you can install Windows 7.
