VPN site to Site with an ASA behind Port Forwarding device
Hi, I want to configure a VPN from Site to site with an ASA with a public static IP adress and other ASA located behind a device with a public IP address that can forward ports to the ASA.
I have found no documentation for this configuration in the Cisco KB, anyone have a link for me or a brief description of the requirements?
Thank you
Tobias
Hello
Take a look at this documentation
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080094ecd.shtml
Hope this helps

With an ASA 5520 port forwarding
Hi all
I recently bought a Cisco ASA 5520 on eBay for study and I decided to only use it as a firewall between my home LAN and Internet. Wow, what a learning curve! I managed to add my internal networks as objects and create a rule (thanks to youtube) NAT to PAT my internal devices out of the Internet with ASSISTANT Deputy Ministers, but I am really struggling to do the following:-
-allow all incoming traffic that hits the outside interface for port 38921 and nat at 10.1.10.101:38921
-allow all incoming traffic that hits the outside interface for port 30392 and nat at 10.1.10.101:30392
Can someone guide me on how to do it, because I have a couple of services that run behind these ports on a server I want to get when I'm not at home? My (rather messy) config is as follows:-
hostname FW1

encrypted passwd

Hi team
Hope you do well. !!!
currently I am doing a project which consists in CISCO ASA-5545-X, RADIUS (domain controller) server for authentication. Here, I need to configure Anyconnect VPN and host checker in cisco asa.
1 users will connect: user advanced browser on SSL VPN pop past username and password.
2. (cisco ASA) authentication: VPN sends credentials to the RADIUS server.
3 RADIUS server: authentication: receipt and SSL VPN (ASA) group.
4 connectivity creation: If employee: PC so NAW verified compliance, no PC check Assign user to the appropriate role and give IP.
This is my requirement, so someone please guide me how to set up step by step.
1. how to set up the Radius Server?
2. how to configure CISCO ASA?
Thanks in advance.
Hey Chick,
Please consult the following page of installation as well as ASA Radius server. The ASA end there is frankly nothing much difference by doing this.

with vlc and wvc54c port forwarding
I have an old wvc54c work with vlc through the LAN, but it won't work from WAN through a port forward.
I have installation of redirection of WAN port correctly with airport extreme - I have other new wvc54gcn cameras that operate through thin WAN but the same exact transfer configuration (changing only the local ip address) will not work with the former wvc54c.
What's wrong with the new WVC54gcn but the more wvc54c? Is there a work around I should use?
I tried using port 1024 instead of 80, as suggested by some other posts here.
Thanks for any clarification!
OK, I thought about it. When installing the camera, I had not put something in the primary 'gateway' or 'dns '. I put them both to the IP of the router and who nailed him.
Thanks for the help!

Hello
I integrated LIVE ID with Sharepoint 2010 and got the same compliance.
In sharepoint server 2010, several sharepoint sites are run under port 443 with different domain names.
I configured 1 LIVE ID certificate for one of our sharepoint sites would like to know can I use the same certificate for other sites too or I need to install other certificates LIVE ID to access other sites.
How can I get prod LIVE ID certificates are available for free as nexus offers two certificates INT and PROD (x 509 certificate) or do I need to buy.
If I need to buy where can I buy it go?
Hi ppdremsadm,Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums as it is related to the configuration of Live ID in Sharepoint 2010. It should be better in the Forums of Windows Sharepoint.
Please ask your question in products and technology SharePoint forums to improve assistance in this regard.

With several cameras WVC54GCA port forwarding
I have four cameras WVC54GCA and I can't get to work on the fourth for internet access to the camera port translation. The first three ports are using ports 80 and 8000, 8080 and works very well. My router is a WRT54GS (firmware c. 7.50.6). I tried many other ports for the fourth camera but all results in a "Connection refused" message. The fourth device is configured exactly as the others and works fine when I use one of the three ports assigned to the other cameras. Any suggestions on what could be the cause or a port that works would be appreciated.
My ISP is Rogers the Canada.
Thank you
I don't understand why I can't get ports in the range 1024 and up to work but I stumble on a suggestion for 7070 and it works. Which leaves me with all four cameras working outside on ports 80 and 8000, 8080-7070. That solves my immediate problem, but has yet to determine why I couldn't just specify the ports to open. Who will have to wait until the next problem arises.
Thanks to all who have contributed.

Cisco ASA VPN Site to Site WITH NAT inside
Hello!
I have 2 ASA 5505 related to IPSEC Tunnel VPN Site to Site.
A 192.168.1.0/24 'remotely' inside the network and a local "192.168.200.0/24' inside the network (you can see the diagram)
The local host have 192.168.200.254 as default gateway.
I can't add static route to all army and I can't add static route to 192.168.200.254.
NAT the VPN entering as 192.168.200.1 or a 192.168.200.x free to connect my host correcly?
If my host sends packet to exit to the default gateway.
Thank you for your support
Best regards
Marco
The configuration must be applied on the SAA with the 192.168.200.0 subnet it is inside, there must be something like this:
permit 192.168.1.0 ip access list VPN_NAT 255.255.255.0 192.168.200.0 255.255.255.0
NAT (outside) X VPN_NAT outside access list
Global (inside) X Y.Y.Y.Y (where the Y.Y.Y.Y) is the ip address
If you have other traffic on the vpn through the tunnel that requires no nat, then you must add external nat exemption rules since these lines above obliges all traffic through the asa to have a nat statement.
See if it works for you, else post your config nat here.

VPN Site to Site ASA (only happens with interesting traffic)
Is anyway to get an ASA to VPN site-to-site ASA addition interesting traffic? I need to keep this tunnel independently of traffic is anyway to do this?
Unfortunately, no such feature has been developed on the SAA. You need to deceive the ASA with a host located in the "interesting" part of the network to constantly generate interesting traffic. Here are a few suggestions:
-Use the IP SLA on a Cisco device
-Perform a host TCP ping
-Setting up a host of the site has press site B as a NTP source ASA
Thank you for evaluating useful messages!

ASA (v9.1) VPN from Site to Site with IKEv2 and certificates CEP/NDE MS
Hi all
I am currently a problem with VPN Site to Site with IKEv2 and certifiactes as an authentication method.
Here is the configuration:
We have three locations with an any to any layer 2 connection. I created each ASA (ASA5510 worm 9.1) to establish one VPN of Site connection to the other for the other two places. Setting this up with pre shared keys and certificates that are signed by the CA MS administrator manually work correctly.
But when we try to enroll these certificates through the Protocol, CEP/NDE his does not work.
Here are my steps:
1 configure the CA Turstpoint to apply to the certification authority
2. request that the CA through the SCEP protocol works fine
3. set up a Trustpoint and a pair of keys for the S2S - VPN connection
4. registration form identity certificate CA via the SCEP Protocol with a one time password works fine
5. set the trustpoint created as for the S2S - VPN IKEv2 authentication method.
Now I did it also for the other site of the VPN Tunnel. But when I ping on a host that is on a different location to make appear the Tunnel VPN - the VPN session is not established. In the debugs I see that there are a few problems during authentication of the remote peer.
On the MS that I see that the certifactes of identity for both ASAs are communicated and not revoked or pending state. The certificate based on the model of the "IPSec (Offline).
When the CA-Admin and a certificate me manually based on a copy of the model of "Domaincontroller" connection is successfully established.
So I would like to know which is the correct certificate for IP-Sec peers template to use for the Protocol, CEP and MS Enterprise CA (its server 2008R2 of Microsoft Enterprise)?
Anyone done this before?
ASA requires that the local and Remote certificate contains EKU IP Security Tunnel Endpoint (1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.6) (aka IP Security Tunnel termination). You can create a Microsoft CA model to add.
If you absolutely must go with the 'bad' cert, there is a command
ignore-ipsec-keyusage
but it is obsolete and not recommended.
Meanwhile at the IETF:
RFC 4809
3.1.6.3 extended Key use
Extended Key Usage (EKU) indications are not required. The presence
or lack of an EKU MUST NOT cause an implementation to fail an IKE
connection.

I'm trying to create a vpn site-to site between Cisco ASA 5510 and OpenSwan Linux, after completing the configuration of part and came across the VPN tunnel but nothing passes through the tunnel.
I use the software version 8.0 (4) on my firewall SAA, so doing any faces a problem like that.
Appreciate your support
Both bugs are for outgoing VPN traffic. But in your case, we saw 'read' County was '0' which means that ASA has not received any package of Linux in the VPN tunnel.

Can you help me?
Concerning
Frédéric
You must ensure that there is no NAT 0 ACL statement because it will take precedence over the static NAT.
You don't need:
Global 172.26.0.1 - 172.26.0.254 10 (outside)
NAT (inside) 10 access-list nattoyr
Because it will be replaced by the static NAT.
In a Word is enough:
nattoyr to access ip 10.0.0.0 scope list allow 255.255.255.0 10.1.252.0 255.255.255.0
access extensive list ip 172.26.0.0 vpntoyr allow 255.255.255.0 10.1.252.0 255.255.255.0
public static 172.26.0.0 (inside, outside) - nattoyr access list
card crypto outside_map 2 match address vpntoyr
card crypto outside_map 2 pfs set group5
card crypto outside_map 2 defined peer "public ip".
card crypto outside_map 2 game of transformation-ESP-AES-256-SHA
outside_map interface card crypto outside
tunnel-group "public ip" type ipsec-l2l

-Make sure that it not there no NAT ACL 0 including the above statements and check if NAT happening (sh xlate) and the
traffic is being encryption (sh cry ips its)

some help me
(Q) ping remote ip unable on ASA is not Firewall not on pc (VPN site to site on SAA) configired no proxy, icmp not inspect, no chance
Note - I can ping PC but not the same subnet ip on ASA2 L3
PC---> > ASA1 - ASA2<>
Hi Matt,
Let me answer your question in two points:
- You cannot ping an ASA on another interface other than the one where you are connected to the ASA of.
For example, ASA1 and ASA2 are connected through their interfaces 'outside '. ASA1 (or any other device on the external interface) can not ping/access ASA2 on his (ASA2) within the interface. The only time wherever this can be substituted is a tunnel VPN with the command "access management" configured for other interface, for example management-access inside
- Traffic ASA1 ping to a remote client behind ASA2 won't over the VPN tunnel and as such is not encrypted. That's because ASA1 will forward traffic based on its routing table that probably this way through its 'outside' interface Except that traffic is allowed with the ASA2 (using the ACL), it will fail.
We can do on the routers of sourcing our ping to another interface, but it will not work on the SAA.
