VMware vSphere: Troubleshooting [5.5] workshop preliminary training

I was wondering if I would be admitted to the training and possibly be eligible for the exam of the VCP5 - VTC (VCP550).
I had no prior training of VMWare VSphere sanctioned or certification. Just funded by the learning company, self-training videos available of VSphere CIM and tinkering on my labs. But I have a couple of years of experience in the treatment of VSphere. I just thought it would be best to go directly to the VSphere rather than training with VSphere CIM workshop.
On the learning portal, the prerequisites are:
So basically, my plan is to:
1) attend the VMware Vsphere troubleshooting training workshop
(2) the exam for VCP 550
(3) obtain VCP - certified DV
Is this possible in my situation? Thanks in advance for your contributions.

I work with VMWare for about 6 years now and had followed the course of HP because we had a few good HP and felt it was the only course VMware that they had that I could learn something from.
I would get VCP and other certifications, but need to know if the HP course meets the requirements and if I could get to register for examination of the VCP or I still need to follow a course of VMWare, before I could get to register for the exam.

How can I do to two clips have the same position and scale?

I just first Elements 10 today, since I'm doing a video for work. I am a seasoned videographer (I am a fairly successful YouTuber), but not with Adobe products. At home, I use Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 (although that is seriously considering moving to Premiere Pro), but for the moment at work I use elements since it is the program that they have.
One thing that elements can do that PowerDirector is automatically align the clips at the same time. What I need to do, it's got a picture (do not fill the entire screen) suddenly cut to a similar picture of the same size and position, of the effect that the only part of the image changes. In my program to another, all I had to do was put them at the same time, change the shape of the Pic 1 how I want it, move the 2 Pic and do align on the same size and position, then move 2 peak after another in the timeline panel. However, items not the snap to each other, so I have no idea how to put them in the same size and position, one after the other.
How can I do this? If this can be done in two elements or Pro, I'm going to have to Pro since I use this feature a lot.

First Elements 10 on what operating system? What video/graphics card your computer use? If NVIDIA GeForce, so we talk 10/NVIDIA GeForce display and other problems related specifically to first Elements.

But, so far away that...

Each clip on the Timeline of 10 elements first has a range of properties that contains a sign of movement. The expanded Motion Panel includes settings for the clip Position and scale. among other things.

Position of two values... (___) (_) first from right to left and from left to right... second for up down or down the most.

Have you been to the Palette of the 2nd clip properties to set its Position and scale values must match the first element?

Network [vSphere 4.1] load balancing and failover vMotion

GoodMorning everyone.
I have some doubts about the configuration of the network for vMotion in vSphere 4.1
I know that I can activate a single portgroup VMkernel for vMotion on the single host, but can I have this portgroup in a vSwitch with two or more physical NIC attached.
Currently, I managed to have a vSwtich with vMotion and management of trade wth two NICs (see attachment).
Both NICs works very well with the recovery for both exchanges.
I would switch to a vSwitch with multiple network cards and I have some doubts.
It seems that I could configure it... but the load balancer for vMotion supported on vSphere 4.1?
And also, have the protgroup of vMotion in a switch with several network cards, is there a way to check what physical nic is currently used by vMotion?
I am currently under a license from the company.

vMotion for vSphere pre 5 does not support Multi-NIC, in vSphere 5, you can configure several VMKernel enable vMotion and select different Nic Active and load balance between the two vmnic, but unfortunately not in vSphere 4.x

For the management of ESXi, if you set active on both network adapters, you not to cross any active advantage / standby because it will only use on vmNIC, unless there is still a failure... but 1 vmNIC just because bandwidth is usually not a problem for the ESXi management only.

So the answer: upgrade to vSphere 5 for multi-nic vMotion and don't worry ESXi management as an active NETWORK card is more than enough bandwidth,.

Plenty of needs of the company for specific details and scales.

An age can the persons required to be stored as whole not more 3-digit numbers.
A sum of money may have to be stored with no more than 2 decimal places of accuracy for example the books of GB Pence or US Dollars and Cents
A unit of length may need to be stored in meters with 2 decimals of centimetres
A size may have to be stored with a decimal for half sizes
etc.

Yes, you can create simply as a generic NUMBER data type, but their design with precision and scale can provide additional information on the limitations for the stored values, especially for things like tools that can use the specified precision and scale to determine how to display the automatically (default) values of reporting.

If you start to question "what is the point?" then you may as well say what's the point of having a NUMBER data type when we can store numbers in a VARCHAR2 data type? or what's the point of having a DATE data type, when we can stored dates as VARCHAR2 data type? etc.

No need to ask such a question because there is almost always a point to these things (and if not what they get deprecated in future versions).

Validation of the numerical value of precision and scale
Hi all

IAM using ADF with EJB.
I have an inputText field that accepts numeric values (of type java.lang.Double). Due to data constraints, I want to validate the input on its accuracy and scale value.
I put a label of f: convertNumber under the inputText and set the MaxIntegerDigits and MaxFractionDigits properties with the values you want.
I also set the ApplyValidation of the attribute in the file pagedef property. However, no validation has worked.
I did the same test with af:ConvertNumber without result too.

I know it's easy to put these constraints at the level of the entities with BC4J.

Is there a neat way to set validation or I need to write code in the bean to support?

iTunes late development and scale of problem

I recently downloaded iTunes a few days ago. The program runs very slowly and in the iTunes store my cursor is not properly calibrated. The screen itself is also cut makes it difficult to navigate the store, especially combined with the slow performance.

I tried to reinstall and other attempts to solve without success. I have a decent laptop, so this isn't a problem.

Anyone else knows this or know of a fix? Thank you!

These errors are usually the result of the use of the Windows options for expanded fonts with which iTunes does not work with or scaling the DPI. Try to set these default/100% and see if the problem with iTunes disappear. It will not help if you need to use these features for best results in other software, but at least she will confirm here the rub.

As for the late development, it can help to make a complete tear down and rebuild, as described in the second box of troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates. Excluding the iTunes folder of any AV real-time, tests can also help.

How to read and scale of multiple analog input channels

I'm reading the data of several types of sensors, with readings of 4-20mA. What I'm trying to do, is have a pressure transducer, a flow meter and a RTD sensor all connected on channels 1, 2 and 3 of my cDAQ using DAQmx. After channels are put on the scale, I need to see all the data in a chart of the wave with the scales on each side, identification of pressure, temperature and flow. Finally, I need to write that data to a text file. TDMS is fine, but for now, I'm working with a CSV file.

So far, I got my VI to read the data channel and the data on the scale correctly. I'm also writing to the file works properly. However, when I try to change the second channel, nothing happens or I get an error. Can someone help me on this? I have experience to come Monday to it so Im a little short of time. Ive fixed this Ive got so far (Ive got several versions of this VI trying to do this in various ways).

With respect to the accuracy of the readings for channel 0, Ive been using a deadweight Tester and a manometer calibrated to see readings. So far, these are correct, and I was able to calibrate other gauges with this interface.

Way easier and more foolproof that I found to do this is to set up several channels using an Express VI (DAQ assistant) and then made a right click on the object of block diagram and 'open the fron Panel '. Click OK to the warning and you will be pressented with an example of a multi-channel configuration.

As to the best way to get 90% it when learning DAQ configuration...
