• Drop Shadow problem with Photoshop CC 2015

  I've just updated to CC 2015 (Windows 7) and now when I right click on a file and go to 'open with', Photoshop is no longer there as an option. When I go through the motions to set as default and select Photoshop he refuses to recognize the action.

  I can of course run Photoshop and open files from inside Photoshop is simply embarrassing but nevertheless quite annoying.

  This has been covered in a couple of other threads. From what I can tell, Adobe installed mistakenly leaves paths in the registry pointing to the old versions, uninstalled Photoshop.

  You can change the registry or probably do an uninstall complete and reinstall Photoshop so the installer resolves the problem.

  When I Zoom in on 33 and 50% view of my photo - I get 'boxes' on my image.

  Thanks for the video. This is a common problem, since the update to 9.0 Adobe Camera Raw started using the GPU acceleration.

  Generally, the problem is solved, unchecking this option in ACR preferences.

• I have a Wacom Intuos 3 and Photoshop CS6 with OSX Yosemite. I installed the plugin 'Whitewindow' but the browser panel still takes on a life of its own every so often - zoom in and zoom out. Any help would be appreciated.

  CS6 and CC are two separate applications. Thus, it does not at all, matter how or in what order you install or uninstall them.

  You can uninstall safely CS6 of your machine without worrying about CC. It is the same with Lightroom 5.

• Update to Adobe Bridge CC to work with Photoshop CC 2015

  I've just updated Photoshop CC 2014 and 2015. Which works very well. I then applied the update to the bridge. Bridge will now launch fine, but when I try to open an image I get an error message saying that Windows cannot find Photoshop. The path, there need is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit) \Photoshop.exe. It's really weird because does not point to CC Nevermind 2014 2015 CC.

  I tried to uninstall bridge via the creative cloud Panel and then a reinstall. Still the same problem. Before I updated to 2015 bridge CC worked very well with CC 2014. It is only since the update of 2015 the redone problem surface.

  I'm a Mac guy I can only give you a guess.

  Not sure what happened to cause this but one thing you might try is to go to the preferences of your Bridge and go to the file type Associations tab. Now scroll through the different types of files and select some more frequent for the PS (JPEG, TIF, etc..) Check that the track of the bird to the PS goes to the right place and if it is not reset it.

  Let us know if that does or not.

• Wacom Intuos 5 with mouse appears a virtual keyboard in Lightroom CC. How do I stop this?

  I have Windows 8.1 and Lightroom CC.

  Whenever I use my Wacom mouse to navigate to a textbox to enter something (like keyword or name of a person), the virtual keyboard appears and covers half of the screen.

  As soon as I start typing, the keyboard disappears, but it is very annoying.

  This does not happen with other applications.

  This only happens when I use the touchscreen or stylus to navigate to the text box. Only when I use the mouse.

  I had the same problem with the LR CC, 8.1 W and Wacom.

  Are you able to print from other applications outside of Photoshop?

  Also please make sure that the printer drivers are up to date and it is there any other available printer with you from which you could try to print and see if it prints.

• Pen and touch with Photoshop CC synchronization problem

  So, I recently bought a drawing tablet to use while painting in Photoshop.  This works perfectly for everything, except when it comes to Photoshop.  The program knows that I want to paint with the Brush tool, it repsonds and recognizes even pressure that I put on the Tablet, but it not to do so in harmony with the cursor... When I use the Brush tool, "painting" is not on the slider, but upward and to the left of this one.

  For example, if I try and put a single point in the middle of the page using the Brush tool, I would like to move the cursor in the middle of live, press down, and him point looks upward to the left where I hit.

  I know that this isn't a problem with my tablet, because I've already updated the driver and I tested it on all other programs.  The only time where the problem occurred was when I went to CC in Photoshop and use the Brush tool... all the tools in perfectly in sync with the cursor.

  Something I noticed about the program, however, is that whenever I'm not in the Photoshop window, the cursor is in the usual place that I cling to it, but good once I click on my Photoshop window, it moves the cursor down and to the right.

  I don't know if there is a problem with the brush settings or something of this matter, but I know that this has nothing to do with my computer or my tablet.

  The Tablet is an Oh (well cheap, I know... but I'm a poor student)

  CC of Photoshop is the latest version, and I tried to reinstall without solution.

  This does not sound like something that we have seen, and I think that something is happening at the level of the driver.

  One thing to try is to change your laptop computer at 100% scale factor:

  -Go to control panel > hardware and sound > display

  Change the cursor to 'small '.

  Log off, then back to try.

  We also saw a related problem paint on Windows 8. This has been corrected in Windows 8.1, so update can also try.

  HI, have you tried opening the video normally, converted into a smart object, then by going to the menu Filter and selecting Camera RAW?  That should do the trick.   As far as I know, it's the only way to edit videos with Camera RAW.
