  My old computer died a slow and painful death. I finally could not stand the constant crashes and recoveries, so I sprung for a new Win 7 box, triple-nasty, double-hang down. I got a legal copy of LR 3.3 on the old computer and a LOT of other things... I took out the old drive C: and installed in the new box. All my LR catalogs and pix was in the F: drive on the old box, but I have in vain by the way... this drive he caused the new BIOS or OS crash after POST (with a few strange video ramifications), so I had a guy copy such things in a folder on the C: drive. I will get a new drive and transfer at the latest.

  Another site suggested its replacement by amtlib.dll to amtlib64.dll, and then rename to be amtlib.dll. I looked for these files and only found one amtlib.dll associated with PSE9... none is related to LR3.4! Looked at on both the startup of new and old discs. NADA!

  I have a problem with Captivate 6 installation on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have 2 different scenarios where I tested it, but the result is the same.

  1. I used AMEE (Application Manager Enterprise 3.1) to create the installation of the deployment via SCCM 2012 Package.

  Note that the current package works fine on Windows 7 (x 86 and x 64), but not on 2008 R2 error after I tried to launch the Captivate.exe application.

  The error indicates that there is a missing file: libwinpthread - 1.dll and if I copy and made a recording of the present. DLL file then he sends another error saying: on-demand failed to start correctly (0xc000007b) so he won't ever let me launch the application.

  2 now, if I install the package directly from the Original sources (CD) without creating any package AMEE after completing the installation, I have always the same error about the missing DLL file.

  1 disconnect Internet

  2. open Control Panel

  3. open the program & features

  4. click on "View installed updates" on the left side

  5. find "Security update for Microsoft Windows (KB2859537)" under the Microsoft Windows section

  6 uninstall this update, and then you restart PC (can take very VERY long to set up)

  7. go in Windows Updates and hide (KB2859537)

  8 reconnect to the internet

  9. fix your system restore functionality; You will have to perhaps remove a fake C: drive and enable the system to the correct Windows drive restore.

  It worked for me in the months of August and with another Ko in September. I don't know what it is, but it seems to happen a few people each month, unfortunately including me on one of my PC.

  In fact, I just got to work. Works well just using hardware version 7. I had initially left the setting to "Preserve the Source" of the hard disk controller. This should be changed to SCSI when converting to an XP machine to a virtual machine on an ESX4 host.
