Wake up with an active magnifying glass on my screen
I wake up to see a magnifying glass, turned on my screen and don't know how to turn off permanently. I've never seen this on my computer anywhere before I changed suppliers when I moved from ATT in AR to Comcast in Florida. I want to permanently delete this magnifying glass... to always uninstall. How to do this. I have a Dell laptop, a year and a half, with Vista Premium (the middle one, not one that fits). This is as far as I know. Help me please!
Try this: go to control panel > accessibility > Ease of Access Center > explore all settings > use the computer without a display > uncheck turn on Magnifier > click Save...
See you soon.

Thanks for your thoughts on the subject!
In addition, I've seen,
the problem stops in each content displayed with IE9.Sometimes the spotlight seems to work;
also, in these rare cases,.
the magnifying glass shows only one
snapshot of the content displayed.
For example, during scrolling, the magnified area does not work.It was no problem before using IE8.
Maybe somewhere there is a button to change this behavior?

New W700 with dirt behind the glass of the screen - terrible support from Lenovo
Hello
I just got my new Thinkpad W700 two days ago, but it came with two dirt stains located behind the glass of the screen. They cover about 20 pixels down on the left:
http://PIC.Leech.it/PIC.php?id=2873956ddirtbottom.jpg
First of all, I contacted Lenovo technical support. They have opened a case but then gave me Lenovo sales because the defect already existed at the arrival and I could be eligible to get an Exchange unit.
Unfortunately the sales of Lenovo really sucks. I spoke the first day by the representative asked me to send him an email with a picture of the screen, which I did. He promised to call what has never happened. I called again the next day and talked to another representative. He apologized for his colleague and promised to remind him to remember the same day. Once more it never happened. So I called for the third time another day later. The seller apologized once more and asked me to send the photo by email - once more. He then told me that I will not get an Exchange unit but have to call Lenovo support first, before any return policy may apply. Thus the circle closed after only three days
Back to Lenovo support, they opened a new case and will now send me a shipping box in my notebook. So I'll be at least 15 working days without my new laptop and if they cannot clear the screen, I have to place a new order of complete replacement to Lenovo sales and wait another 10-15 days before I finally got my notebook back.
This is completely unacceptable to me because I need the laptop for work. My plan of servo is now upgrade guarantee ' on site 9 x 5 next business day ', wait 2-3 weeks that it take until the upgrade is activated and then will make account again the fault to technical support. Can someone tell me if this would work or Lenovo will persist on me sending the DVICE back because I opened a folder already?
Thank you
OLAF
The problem has been resolved. Unlike the unpleasant experience that I realized on sales of Lenovo doing the tech IBM/Lenovo service has been superb all the way. They have exchanged or repaired my screen and for some reason any addition to the system board. Now, I have a flawless screen and can start enjoying the machine. My laptop was gone for 5 days only, including a weekend and a delay of stock for parts.
Bravo Lenovo.
Edit: misspelling

If I highlight a word or accidentally highlight a Word, I get this ubiquitous little yellow box with a magnifying glass or the mention "Loading". I hate it. I have to move the cursor on a blank area, then click to get rid of it. He is quite bored. I'm tired of fighting the browser to do my job! What fool this? I can't find a way to turn it off.
In addition, to help further research, you could paste your list of extensions in response. For this list, the simplest method is to use the support information page, you can open using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter
Scroll down a little the Extensions section, and then select the table below with your mouse and copy (for example, right-click > copy or Ctrl + c), then paste into an answer here. It's a bit messy, but we are used to it.

Magnifying glass with mode full screen.
I want to use mode full screen with the magnifying glass but need "aero" to do. I could have deleted 'aero' by mistake. Can I get it back and if so, how?
You maybe just selected a non-Aero theme. If so you can go to the Control Panel, type 'theme' in the search box at top right of the Panel and then select "Change theme" the search results and then select an Aero theme.

Hello
Here's something to check.
Hold down the Windows key and press R.
In the run box, type services.msc and press ENTER.
Scroll to the Cryptographic Services and make sure that it is to show that the status: started and the Startup Type: automatic.
If you need to make a change, just right-click cryptographic services and select Properties, then in the box next to "Startup Type" drop-down list, select automatic and click on apply to save the changes. Then click on the Start button.
Kind regards
