  • How to remove the magnifying glass

    original title: magnifying GLASS

I find totally irritating Magnifier and want to remove the program from my computer or, if this is not possible, turn it off. Suggestions?

To exit the Magnifier program, press:

Of the Windows Logo key + Esc (at the same time).

There is a keyboard shortcut that can be from magnifying glass if inadvertently, you press it:

Of the Windows Logo key + + (at the same time).

There may be other ways to start it's specific to your particular computer - for example some gestures on a mouse pad or a combination of button/wheel on your mouse. Try to think of what you were doing when the magnifying glass then appears to help track down.

It is not possible to uninstall Magnifier, just turn it off.

  • How to stop the Magnifier program activation at startup

original title: I want to delete a "program".

Forgive me for the use of terms laymans.

Today, I see that on a user account Magnifier is activated at startup (log - on). I don't know how to make this stop. I tried to do something and got a message saying "disable permissions that inherits. I have some research here and "done something" according to a help page for Windows XP. I probably did more harm than good.

I would like to delete the program, but it is not listed in Add/REMOVE programs (or is to REMOVE/CHANGE).

Should I just delete the user account and start over?

In addition, it is a fact that Vista does not automatically like XP restore points don't? Under Vista you must manually perform a restore point? In other words, on the XP computer I go to system restore and try to fix this mess. On Vista, I have found that "system restore." I have found where it is said today to a restore point, can not choose 3 days ago... because I have no previous restore points. I so widows updates

We just got this PC and I am trying to set up for the family.

    Thank you.

Go to start / Control Panel / ease of Access / facilitate the expect to see / and uncheck the box to turn on the Magnifier.  If this resolves the problem in this account, go to start / search box and type msconfig.exe and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Go to the starup tab and see if something related to ease of access or your magnifying glass is included - if so, uncheck the box to prevent it from running at startup and that should fix the problem.  If you can't find any such program, go to the services tab and look for the same thing.  If you uncheck the box, so it does not start at startup and that should fix the problem.  Here is an article on how to disable the Vista Magnifier that should work in the world and for all accounts: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/125037-magnifier-turn-off.html.  I suspect that this will do the trick.

If none of these options works, you can always consider the account as a corrupt user profile and fix it usinghttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

    =============================================================================================================================

Like XP, Vista DO restore points do auto - there just need to be told to do. http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/169523-system-restore-task-change-automatic-restore-point-schedule.html orhttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/change-how-often-system-restore-creates-restore-points-in-windows-vista/ (this second one is a little easier to follow).

To find the system restore, go to start / Control Panel / backup and Restore Center / and to the left are two options - one to do a system restore and the other to create a restore point or change the restore point settings.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How to get the driver to a parallel printer using windows update without a parallel port on my laptop?

I have an asus WL500g and I use it as a print server. On my big pc on windows 7. I managed to install the driver on the printer directly on the pc connection an update of windows to get the driver of the Sina. After installing the driver I passed it to the port by using the ip address of my router. It works, but my laptop doesn't have a parallel port, so it is not possible to obtain the driver. What can I do?

You do not want drivers for parallel port on the laptop anyway given that the laptop is not connect via the parallel port, but rather on the network. You would most likely want to install drivers on the laptop Asus print server, and then print to a network printer drivers. Download the Asus former and latter printer mftr. • How solve the magnifying glass

We used to have a magnifying glass 'click' on our mouse.   After Dell worked on a problem for us, the magnifying glass is gone.  Is there an easy way to restore the magnifying glass on our mouse?  Or make it easily accessible, another way?

Locate the floating toolbar of Magnifier and click the Options button (boxed in red below).

Take a look at the Magnifier options within the track section.

I think that follow the mouse pointer , it's what you want.

If you have missing running and that you do not find the floating toolbar, look at the Magnifier and click on it.

Which shows the floating Magnifier toolbar.

  • How to get rid of the border of the touch control on the magnifying glass of Windows?

I need to be able to disable the border touch on the magnifying glass, as seen on the edges of the picture here.

For some reason any Windows 8 or the integrated Intel GPU not dimensionnera anything on my Tablet (for 640 x 480 games rest in a small box in the middle of the screen rather than stretching to fill most of the screen). Samsung told me it's a Windows 8 delivers so if anyone can help me with there also would be great.

To work around this problem I was forcing some games in windowed mode, then using the magnifying glass to blow up to an acceptable size.

It works fine when I use a mouse, but as soon as I start to use the S-pen supplied with my Tablet (Samsung Ativ Smart PC) those annoying borders continue to flow upward, apparently to show me where I can move around the screen magnification. I want that this turned off, there must be a way to do this? Or as preference for completely disable touchscreen navigation of the Magnifier.

If not, can anyone suggest an alternative Loupe tool that doesn't have these borders around the edges, when I use touch?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: Is it not the kind of thing that can be disabled in the registry? I had a quick glance and could see no obvious tactile control don't enable the setting, but maybe someone else has a better idea?

I also find the boring border.  Very disappointed with the answers.  However, I came across the solution.  With two fingers, a border on each side, tap, hold, and drag inward. This is.
