Wallpaper images load oversized cut about 1 "of the original photo.

As indicated, the background screen images are cut approximately 1 "autour. The original pictures are 1024 X 768 size. It seems as if the picture will leave the size of moose to 120%. Don't know if this has changed on the computer since I don't change that often wallpaper, but having someones cut front is a bit boring... Any ideas on what has changed on my system and how can I fix?

Hello

--> Customization panel, click on the desktop background. At the bottom of the dialog box are options on how the image should be displayed. Change to one that is not oversized. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • How to make an image loader similar to those given in the opening program?

    I'm looking to build an image loader, which at the beginning of my script opens and closes automatically after a few seconds. I opened the image processor script to see how Adobe has added images to the alerts, but it's a vast doc and I couldn't tell where the image was being shot, as shown only variable twice and is called only, and do not set. Also is there another other than the alert method to call a box like this? I would have preferred there do not have buttons.

    This script shows how to open a ScriptUI dialog box and fill it with an image.

    http://PS-scripts.CVS.sourceforge.NET/ViewVC/PS-scripts/Xtools/Xlib/PreviewWindow.jsx

    He, however, was a "close" button to close the window. If you want to automatically close the dialog box

    After a period of time, you will need to change to openFile to something like this:

    var sleepMS = 3000;  How long to sleep in milliseconds

    PreviewWindow.openFile = function (file, w, h, parent, title) {}
    var win = new window ("palette", title |) "Preview:" + decodeURI (file.name)); "."
    win.closeBtn = win.add ('button', undefined, 'Close');

    Win.Preview = win.add ('image', undefined);
    Win.preview.Icon = file;

    If (w & h) {}
    win.preview.preferredSize = [w, h];
    }

    If (parent) {}
    Win.Center (parent);
    }

    win.closeBtn.onClick = function() {}
    This.parent.Close (1);
    }

    Win.Show ();

    $.sleep (sleepms);

    Win.Close ();
    Remove win;
    $. gc();
    };

    usage example

    PreviewWindow.open("~/tmp/preview.jpg");

    I have not tried this code, but it seems pretty close.

  • Printed photo cut parts of the original photo

    I use a 309 g Photosmart and find that pictures of landscapes of 4 x 6 prints from my computer don't understand all the original image. Parts of all borders (and photo) are cut. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    If you print without borders the printer will be slightly oversized printing to ensure that no white border print due to misalignment of the media.  You can adjust this in the driver, go to the "Advanced" tab, search for overspray, breaks, change and adjust the slider to the least.  Depending on your printer, you may need to set the cursor to default to prevent borders.

  • Cut in darker than the original box?

    I'll explain what I'm doing. I have a series of photos that are very similar and they have a point

    in the lower corner. I deleted the item from the bottom and put another element

    Now I want to remove the first element from the rest of the pictures and replace them with the item which

    I added in the first image.  I did on other occasions without problem. It took me almost

    thirty minutes or more to make the first photo. (I'm a beginner)  And everything I have Photoshop CS3.

    I really want to spend half an hour on each photo. I saved the first picture I did in .png

    format.  I loaded the first photo that I made and used the rectangle tool to cut the angle with the

    good article in it.  Then, I loaded the second image and pasted at the contour of the element.  Now I have the second

    image layer on the bottom and the cutting of the layer on top. I've done other procedures like cut the

    the area on the background layer corresponding to the upper layer.  Anyway, you can see the area of the added portion

    because it is darker and you can see the outline of the rectangle tool cutting. I know it's a long question

    but I'll try to explain it then it will be clear.  I've done it before, and couldn't see it.

    The photos were all taken at the same time. And I've tried other tools in addition to the rectangular selection tool

    with the same results.  Thank you for any help or advice.

    Please post screenshots (or for example it published and one unpublished images) to illustrate what you're trying to verbalize them.

    Why png?

    Have you tried to place the complete modified image in another image, which apply a gentle layer mask and the cutting of an adjustment layer masking to solve problems of brightness?

  • By mistake I replaced a photo with another file. The miniature shows always the original photo - is anyway I can get the original of this thumbnail image?

    By mistake I replaced a photo with another file.  The thumbnail still shows the original image.  Is there anyway I can retrieve the original of this thumbnail image?

    When a file overwrites (replaces) another... the original is gone.

    This happens usually when the replacement file has the same file name
    as a file exists and that you answer Yes when the dialog box asks you if you
    replace file a file b.

    What are the exact steps you used when the file has been replaced and
    This software has been involved?

  • Is it possible to link an image resized without having adapt automatically to the original image?

    I have two Adobe illustrator images that are very similar, the first is 5 inches wide the second to replace is 3 inches. I just place and put the image in InDesign, but I had to change forms and thicknesses as certain proportions of the image would be just too small.

    When I create a link to the file it is changing the image to adapt the existing framework of the largest. Is it possible the file repeat keeping the content of the new file to 100%. I know that I can use the grabber content to see how the content has been developed on the scale and fix it, but it's not boring where you will need to select "adjust the framework to settle later. InDesign, AFAIK, does give no warning to tell you than an image when relinked has been stretched to fit the image.

    -Thank you

    It is in the application, under file management preferences. Check or uncheck the box to preserve Image Dimensions when reissue of links. When checked, the relinked image will be adjusted to the same dimensions as the old version (possibly distorted). When not checked, the new image will come with the same scale as the original factor, that resembles what you want in this case for me but I am not sure (this is often true for .ai files where it is made a change that moves an element, that affect the bounding box art and you have trimmed to art or bounding box rather than media).

    Sometimes, if what you want is a 100% zoom it's just easier to put the new image on the editing table and place it in position, remove the old.

  • even if I create an image of large scale when I save in png and try to zoom his as dimmed and pixels are like big boxes, so if I print I get the original photo of clarity that I created in photoshop?

    unknown

    If you create a document 5000 x 5000 pixel, added text on the subject, then it would print in nearly 20 "x 20" at 250PPI and text would be reasonably strong.

    Note: If your image is enlarged to a much smaller size it will be pixelated. You must add the text after enlarging the image or start by creating the largest size document from the beginning.

  • Check dynamic image loaded into Flash?

    Hello world

    Does anyone know a good tutorial to load in an external jpg in Flash where actionscript is to check the time / date of the image in the folder with the one in flash and update if it is a newer image?

    Your help is really appreciated :)

    In fact if all what you need to do is to check if the image has changed (different pixels) then you can use the BitmapData class to compare the current and new images.

    Create an object BitmapData of the current image (which is loaded in current_mc) and the new image (loading in new_mc). Then compare the two. If their different, then you can update current_mc by the new image.

    If I get some time, I'll try and create an example - unless someone has one sitting?

    See you soon,.

    Photo cut and save

    How to cut a headshout of one person on a phot with several people in it and then save it as it's own photo?

    You might cut back on the part you want to save as a
    new photo.

    (be aware... If the original photo is not high quality...
    your cropped section can be grainy)

    Many photo editors have the ability to crop but since
    I don't know what you have installed... I'm going to suggest
    Windows Paint... (Start / Programs / Accessories /)
    Paint) to help you get started.

    Try to open the picture in paint.

    File / open... Find and select your photo.

    In the top left panel, left click the Select button.
    (looks like a rectangle made up of points)

    Left click / drag a rectangle around the portion of the photo
    that you want to copy.

    Now, you'll see a dotted line around the selected area.

    Reach... Edition / copy.

    Reach... File / new.

    Reach... Editing / paste.

    Reach... File / save as.

    Choose a backup folder.

    Enter a name.

    Choose a format (JPEG).

    On the left, click on the "Save" button.

  • question about change in the lightroom4

    Hello

    I can get a photo of 4 Lightroom to photoshop elements 11 through the change, without any problem. But, when I do a backup of the file, it rejects it and wants me to "Save as" and choose a specific folder. He doesn't want then go back to Lightroom4 with changes that I made in the elements.

    I don't know why he continues to save me so much that request?

    I thought that change you from Lightroom4, hit except in the elements, then it should go back to lightroom4 with the changes and appear next to the original photo in lightroom.

    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Works OK for me. You normally do the round trip from Lightroom as follows:

    (1) Ctrl + E in the library to export the image selected with the parameters (I choose PSD) development

    2) change in elements; then Ctrl + S to replace Lightroom export copy

    (3) Ctrl + W to close in elements and miniature Lightroom update.

    Try turning off the GPU acceleration. Go in Edition > Preferences and on the performance tab, uncheck the box. If this solves the problem, click on to learn more about troubleshooting information page. You may need to update the graphics driver.
