  I can't seem to get a printer driver installed for my computer MacBook running os x 10.7 (Lion OSX). I tried the printer with the printer installation, I used the CD provided, and each time I was told that Apple was the file that I needed to install the printer driver. I went to Apple, downloaded the file that has all the drivers of HP printer (I made sure that my printer was registered for that file) and tried again to install the driver for my printer. It didn't work and I tried several times through all the methods I could think. I also tried to install it by using the Bluetooth connection and a USB cable. Still no connection. HP told me that Apple has the pilot and Apple tells me that HP has the file I need. How can I get my new printer to work? It's extremely frustrating!

  I understand that you are having problems during the installation of your printer to All - in - One HP Envy 4500 on your computer Mac OS X 10.7. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Can I please you follow the steps below.

  Step 1: Resetting the printing system:

  To begin, I will have you reset the printing system on your Mac because it is important that we have a pleasure to work with for troubleshooting clean slate. Please click herefor instructions on how to perform the reset. When the site opens, follow the steps under"Reset printing in OS X Lion system." This Reset deletes each printer on your Mac. However, it does not uninstall printers. Therefore, if use you other printers on the Mac, once the reset is complete simply make sure printers are attached via a USB cable or connected network and (+) add hide them in. don't add not your HP Envy in back at the moment.

  Once the reset is complete, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Uninstall the drivers and software:

  Please click here to find out how to properly uninstall your printer. Once the site opens select the drop down menu 'Mac OS X v10.6, OS X v10.7, OS X v10.8 and OS X v10.9' and follow the steps to complete uninstallation.

  Once the uninstall is complete, please continue on.

  Step 3: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

  1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
  2. Go to the Utilities folder
  3. Open disk utility
  4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
  5. Select verify disk permissions
  6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions

  Step 4: Check the Apple updates:

  1. Go to the Apple
  2. Select System Preferences
  3. Select software update
  4. Click update now
  5. Install your available updates

  Recently, I tried to use my 4500 want to print photographs, using HP Premium Plus Photo paper. Each attempted printing resulted in the printer telling me that there is a paper jam.   Working with a device like 120 all-in-One using Mac OS 10.9.  Whenever I try to print, the paper is still in black and white.  I guess I have some defect on but can't find it to correct.

  It happened when we bought first the HP device, running an earlier version of Mac OS.  Just downloaded the driver for Maverick, and I thought that would fix the problem - she didn't.

  I understand that you don't get any color on your impressions using the Mavericks OS X do you uninstall the previous software before using the Maverick update software? I would like you to take a look at OS X Mavericks v10.9: installing and using the printer on a Mac.

  If you did all the steps listed in this document and the color is always outside, please look at the suggestions on the Forums of Support from Apple. It seems that installation of the Gutenprint driver corrects the color on the issue.

  I just upgraded my PC HP Pavilion Media Center of Windows XP Media Center for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  Update went well, but now I can not install the specific software for my printer HP C7280 all in one.

  However I can't get the software to install on the PC from HP!

  I turned off the antivirus and firewall, then ran the uninstall04.bat file

  Then edited msconfig so I could start with a clean boot. Do you have a reboot

  So I ran the installer as admin and everything went through, with a few minor hicups, but he set himself in the end.

  This problem would not have occurred if I had installed the printer directly after the installation and update of Windows 7.

  I installed Mcaffee directly after Windows 7, but must have installed the HP software before McAffee.

  Hey Kan02. You don't need to download a driver for this printer, the driver is integrated in Windows 7. Here are two options on how to install this printer:

  Option 1:

  You can follow this document to install the printer: the driver for your product is included in the Windows 7 operating system

  OR

  Option 2:

  You can use the HP utility Windows 7 printer to install.

  Both of these options should get the printer to the top and runing for you.

  My Windows 7 64 bit is supposed to have the included driver for my HP PSC 1350 all-in-one, but he's not here. When I use the "Add Printer Wizard" single PSC series included is 1500 and 1600.   Yes, the PSC 1300 series includes the PSC 1350, this driver should work fine.
