  I received my dv7t Quad Ed with Intel Centrino wireless/Bluetooth card two Monday running on Windows 7 64.  I can't get my pc to maintain an internet connection more then a few minutes.  I'm solid on connecting wireless to the router (Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router WNDR3700) but I'm constantly getting "no internet access.

  I have updated the firmware of the router.  I made several updates of Windows.  Nothing has helped and then fifteen minutes.

  Receive this error on my computer laptop 15-k163cl of jealousy when you play some Flash games.  According to Microsoft, I need to update / re install the latest drivers to my Intel HD 4600.  Checked Assistant support and microsoft update and nothing shows.

  Went on the web at hp.com support page and looked at all the drivers for my laptop.  It shows the sp72044.exe as the only driver for the graphics card intel HD.  The pilot goes out with an error of "this computer does not meet the required specifications for this driver."  When I look at the readme.rtf file in the file sp72044.exe, it is said that this driver is only for Intel HD 5500 graphics.  Looking at the log file c:\Intel\Logs\IntelGFX.log shows essentially the same thing that it is only for the 5500 and abandons the installation when it is not the 4600.

  So obviously you have the drivers not listed for this computer.  A person at HP can give me the right drivers?  Should I just manually install the latest Intel drivers for the 4600?  These drivers are reported to correct arrested messages that responded to the questionnaire.  When can we expect an update HP driver of brand?

  OK, my computer was sent to the shop for the following reason.

The system is updated after a week of daily updates. before this problem my wireless connection worked continuously for years without problems. I remember having some problem with it before sp1, but certainly no problems since sp2. Since the reinstallation, I was not able to get the wireless to work. Device Manager indicates Intel wireless wifi link 4965agn works fine, but the diagnostics windows network says "intel...» 4965AGN"knows driver or hardware related issues. I tried updating to the latest driver for vista (32 bit) intel (13.2.1.5) and the issue has not changed. I have a gateway with processor nx860xl intel core2 t7200 cpu and 2 GB ram.

  Does anyone know a solution to this problem? How do I can diagnose to refine the cause to the driver or hardware or system settings or registry errors, etc.? Is there another driver who would be better suited or I'd better go back to XP or forward for win7? I have never had to reinstall older XP on my laptop. It was the 3rd or 4th reinstallation of Vista (although the last one was a good two years ago). I just want to get the wireless working again, so I must not be attached to my router for internet, etc.. Thanks for any help or suggestion.

None of the fixes in the forums have worked. I guess that I have a card his rare idt.   This laptop has all the abilities and raw power I need a laptop, but one thing that bothers me is the minimap original wireless in - it's single-channel video, 2.4 GHz a/b/g.

(R), but I just want to ensure compatibility before you start down this path here - anyone had success and/or advice I should on this?   The wireless adapter that is currently installed (Ralink RT5390R) only supports SISO and the download speed tops out around 18-20Mbps.  I'm looking to replace this card with a card compatible MIMO and bluetooth, for example a 7260 Intel.

  I've been watching the 7260 Intel, but I don't know if it would work and would not order it and he has no job.   This adapter could work in this phone or I am I'm confined to the list given in the service manual?  If I'm limited to the above list, no matter what recommendatins to the adapter that will give me what I'm looking for?

Yes, these are the cards that are supported in your notebook and fortunately will work with your graphics card and processor.  Some say that just restore BIOS to factory default help if you decide to go with your choice.

  I have a Toshiba Tecra M2. Drivers Toshiba page for my model lists an update driver for this PC as follows:

  I don't seem to be able to install it, even though I have an Intel/PRO Wireless 2100 in the portable - setup just point out that it is not compatible driver or a device installed. The previous update of the driver:

  reported as installed OK and Device Manager reports 1.6.0.47 as the installed driver.
