  I have s Sony Smart Watch 3 connected with a smartphone Sony Xperia Z2.   Hmm. Have you tried to get your friend or someone connect to your Samsung Smart TV?  It does seem like your Macbook or the cable are the issue.

  Edit: actually re read your post. I think that to see the option detect go to Preferences > poster under view press on and hold down the option key. bottom right, it should appear.

• Need help with the Smart Wifi EA6400 association

  I set my router several months ago using the password provided with the Quick Start Guide. I have never changed the password. I have implemented all our family computers, laptops and iphones using the same password and have never had any problems of access to the internet. Two weeks ago I put in place our new Sony smart tv by using the same password without any problem.

  Until today, I had never set up a Smart Wifi account. Now that I did it, I can't associate my router on the account. He repeated to me that my password is not valid.   Hi Stormy_01. By combining the Smartwifi account to your router, do not use the password you use to connect wireless. It should be the password to access the router configuration page.   Dear Forum (reader),

  I received my Sony SBH-52 last Friday and I'm going to use it with an iPhone 5 and iPad Mini (or other MAC devices) like I did with my Sony Smart Wireless headphones Pro that has worked very well for not to say perfect.

  This device Sony SBH - 52 has the same features (except the sd card function) and menu, if you ask me, so with knowing that I discovered:

  I can connect via bluetooth with a device (iphone) and a single device!

  After this first (and only) connection, the menu does not appear possible to add another connection bluetooth with another device, simply because the menu function is not see the/itself.

  The SBH-52 has a Multipoint modus as the Smart Wireless Headset Pro also, but it isn't there?

  Or it is only possible to connect a Bluetooth device and the second device with "NFC"?

  I have connected the Sony SBH-52 on a windows computer (7) and made the Sony software update, my device was later software on it is the conclusion.

  If you want to associate multiple devices with the SBH-52 and the device does not support try NFC this.

  1. turn off the headset

  2. hold the power button until you see the Bluetooth pairing icon (when you see coupling BT icon release the power key)

  3. scan for the headset to your device

  I think you could keep the power button pressed for too long. Because if you keep pressed the on/off button when the Bluetooth pairing icon is displayed, it will give you the factory reset option.

I also have a 7 year old who plays xbox live, I have a few home automation (6 lights shades phillips, iHome 3 caps, bolt dormant Schlage, Canary camera and Ecobee Thermostat with 3 sensors) 3 iPads, 2 iPhones, AppleTV 2, 1 macbook pro, 1 desktop and 1 iMac. For now, I have the newest Airport Extreme connected to my modem with shades phillips, Samsung Smart TV switch and and an Airport Express (Bridge Mode) point. I have the CANARIE camera and an Apple TV connected to the express. In the House, I have another Airport Express station I have my Sony Smart TV hooked up to the Wan which is hidden (I'm the only person who uses it for my iPhone). I also have one of the Apple TV hooked up to it. In the children's room, he has the Xbox one hooked and video streaming or playing games. I always know when he's on the Xbox because of the latency in the living room TV (The Samsung) or the desktop.
