  I think Willi, and I even read your question differently. I thought you wanted to hide the images in Mini Bridge once they have been placed in InDesign so that you could keep track of those who you have (if you put twice the same image). If you want to hide in InDesign (as Willi read the question), his suggestion is very good. Another alternative is to use the shortcut to hide (command 3 on Mac OS), after putting the images, but before you click next to deselect them.

  I do not use Mini Bridge, so I can't help you there. If you want to use the full version of the bridge, you can use a Move command to move the selected items to another folder (temp), where they will not appear in your current folder. You can move after that that they all were placed. A bit of a hack, but it could work.

  Background: I import slides from a .pptx file. Once the slide is created inside Captivate, I want to change the text in the slide, but I can't. It became part of the background. So, I'm left with two options: 1) open the .pptx file, change the text, and then re-import the slide 2) manually create everything on the slide inside Captivate. This means a lot of work. I was hoping that Captivate 7 would solve this, but what seemed possible could address - high fidelity - is not available for mac. I'm sure that others have this problem too.

I moved, or sync'd if you want, all the files in the network share \\thehive on a drive of local storage for better performance, which is now located on P:\ drive. But how to do to update the catalog so that it starts from the P drive instead of the \\thehive? A photo today points to \\thehive\2008\somepicture.jpg, and I need to point to P:\2008\somepicture.jpg.

  The fastest way is to directly edit the values in the catalog.pse9db database.  The database is a database SQL Lite, so if you know (or know someone who knows) how to run SQL queries against a database, you have the chance because Adobe has done a great job of a highly normalized database schema design.

  I highly recommend this tent first on a copy of your database.  In general, the procedure goes like this:

  1. Add one of your images on the P: drive in the catalog.  This establishes a list for the P: drive and its identification in the volume_table table.
  2. Run a SQL query on the table of volume_table to see a list of all the lines.
  3. Note that the values in the column 'id' for your volume "the thehive" and one "P:".
  4. Run a SQL query on the media_table table to update the value of the id_volume column, replace all instances of the id number "the thehive' with the identification number of the reader"P: ". The SQL query will look something like this:

  I tested with PSE9.0.3 on Win7, changing the location of a CD on my E: drive on a USB on my F: drive.

  Hello Carlos, you certainly came to the right place for this question vCO is ideal for this kind of thing... I got to play a little before I restart something that resembled what you're asking for is basically a host and wait for it to be reconnected.

  Well, the workflow "Reboot Host" indicates indeed vCenter API to restart a host, but it does not wait for the host to come back to the top, she finished just all right because that's what indicates the API...   I tend to do a lot of different voices, maybe 3 or 4 - for characters in a scene. So I want to save all audio on the logic, then export the voice of the one character at a time and use character animation to animate the puppets.

  For example, X, Y and Z are in conversation, I save all 3 parts, edit the audio isn't airtight and usable and export then take of an individual character.

  I take this audio track in animation character somehow and then get Ch to animate the mouth based on the audio and then go through a scene by adding movements of the puppets as triggers, flashing the webcam etc.

  Can I do this? I can't get my tiny mind around it. Help me, Adobe. You're my only hope

  I would like to know how to do this also. The only thing I can think of right now is to play the audio on the speakers and hope that Ch didn't pick up any other noise with her (difficult in my office, where construction is happening nearby)

  You can create a client installation CD to configure the clients (see the manual). The database can also be saved and restored, but you might have problems if the backup of the database is obsolete in getting to refresh all data current.

  If you use quick/full standards refresh objects and large tables are static reference data, then if you update the table c$ all_client_items in the mobileadmin repository database, defining the CRR column on there, then you can force a full refresh on individual tables on the next synchronization.

  I cannot find any setting where it is specified as hidden, and when I click to filter the report via the Actions button, it appears under the section 'Other' under the section 'displayed '.

  Is there an easy way to display this column?

  After adding new columns or change the names of columns in an existing IR, you must select them for display as developer and Save the new report as the default main.

• R60 freezes seconds after moving the mouse

  As the title says, my R60 freezes (no response from the mouse or keyboard) moving the mouse (that it either via USB mouse, touchpad or red dot-in-the-keyboard). Can I use the keyboard to navigate through the menus / use the computer normally, but as soon as I try to move the mouse, everything crashes after 2-3 seconds of movement and I have to force a shutdown, reboot and try again... same thing continues to be.

  This behavior started after I turned on my laptop this morning, after having for the night (~ 8 hours). I don't know what the cause could be because it worked perfectly normally until yesterday.

  After many gels and cold - reboot, I decided to press the ThinkVantage button a start and select "return to factory settings" to reinstall Windows. Everything went well, but as soon as I moved the mouse... you guessed it, everything froze as usual. =/

  I have no idea why this happens all of a sudden, as my laptop has been working well for about 2.5 years now. The only problem is that I have to keep plugged in to an electrical outlet whenever it is, because the battery dies, but I don't see how this would cause these repeated blockages.

  What could be the problem? I don't know what else to do because a new installation of Windows XP of course did not help. Fortunately I just build a new desktop PC is how I can even post here. =/
