  • Very slow WebLogic administration console in a strange behavior

Hi, I am facing a problem where the weblogic administration console becomes very slow, here is the scenario:

    * I have 3 servers managed in my environment, 1 server is a loadbalancer using servlet cluster weblogic, 2 other servers are in a cluster where

1 server is in the same physical machine as the server administrator and the other on another Machine

so now THAT if I stop the 2nd managed server is on another machine, the administration console becomes very slow, it takes like 30 seconds to load any section.

    I use the Weblogic Server 10.3.6 & ADF 11.1.2.4.0

    Help, please.

    Hello

Administration console WebLogic Server 10.3.6 becomes slow when a managed server is disconnected from the network, because the ServerLifeCycleRuntime does not wait times.

It is recorded in the published 14295772 vice - WEBLOGIC 10.3.6 SLOW CONSOLE - SERVERLIFECYCLERUNTIME no IS NOT TAKING THE WAIT times

Please, ask for the patch number 14295772, so that the administration console does not slow down for answer in case one of the host machines is achieved.

Then, you must set the following parameters:

    (1) in mydomain > Configuration > General > Advanced page

    Invocation seconds Timeout: 2

    (2) in the administration Console, on the preferences page > shared Preferences (Tab)

    Timeout operation management: 5

  • WebLogic administration console in case of failure during the recording of the Commons is used.

I have an application that requires the commons logging.
I followed the instructions according to the literature and other entries forum for example How to use log4j in weblogic 10.3 to add the common logging jar of apache and the specified weblogic jar. As well, I put the system to the LogFactory property.
When I start the application server I see messages as expected from my application. But when I start the weblogic I receive and exception management console and the console does not start. I even tried to put the pots in my application instead of the Directory domain/lib to try to iscolate the issue, but still had problems with the start-up of the Console.
Any ideas on why this happens?

I fall into the same problem recently
Initially, I follow the instructions and got the same error.
But finally, it turned out that set org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory is not necessary.
My solution is to put 4 jars in the lib of the domain directory.

    1.wlcommons - logging.jar
    2.Commons - Logging - 1.0.4.jar
    3.wllog4j.jar
    4.log4j_1.2.13.jar

Then current newspaper works and so as the weblogic console.

    Another solution I tried is:

Follow the instruction of weblogic, but separate admin servers and managed in two (startAdmin.sh and startManaged.sh) startup script.

Avoid putting org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory on server (startAdmin.sh) admin then weblogic console works without problem.

Your application should go into the managed server, add the startManaged.sh org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory then common newspaper works.

A Java web start window should appear after clicking on "launch." Make sure you have a Java installed on your client machine - runtime and it should be available to the user that you are using.

    Kind regards

PS: Java will not be available if the admin connects via another account and install java. Java must be installed using the same user account. If admin access is not available, a temporary is needed

  • Access to the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c problem

I try to install and configure Oracle Mapviewer 12 c (v12.1.3).  The installation seemed successful, but after the installation, I am unable to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c.  The default is Admin Console URL http://[host]:[port]/mapviewer.  I can reach the URL using a browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE), but the admin home page will not appear.  The browser just "turns its wheels"as it tries to load the page. " The image below is from FirefoxClipboard01.jpg

Looking at the console of the developer of the browser (press F12) while the page loads, you can see browse the page of connection repeatedly (see image below).

    Clipboard03.jpg

My environment consists of the following:

    (1) server OS: Linux (RedHat Enterprise 5.11) x86_64

    (2) oracle Weblogic Server 12 c - distribution "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure"

According to the documentation, Oracle Mapviewer 12 c requires specific dependencies that will not provide generic install Weblogic Server (i.e. , http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/overview/index.html,).  Instead, you must use the "Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure" distribution, installation of weblogic server and all the dependencies required.

The distribution of Oracle Fusion Middleware Infrastructure has been downloaded from the Oracle ADF OTN download page or leave cloud of delivery of the Oracle software.

-Oracle ADF OTN download page: http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/downloads/index.html

    -JAR file fmw_12.1.3.0.0_infrastructure_Disk1_1of1.zip

    (3) oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer Version 12 c (12.1.3)

    -downloaded from http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/MapViewer/downloads/index.html

    -JAR file is fmw_12.1.3.0.0_mapviewer.jar

Following the instructions in the for Oracle Mapviewer 12 c E29624-02 User Guide (http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/core/JIMPV/index.html), first of all, I have installed and configured Weblogic Server 12 c, in Mapviewer 12 c followed.

I made two attempts of different installation:

    (a) I installed Mapviewer using the Universal Installer

    (b) I have manually deployed an EAR MapViewer exploded in WebLogic Server folder

Two attempts produced the same results.

Specifically, after installation and configuration of Mapviewer, I could check the Mapviewer version using the URL:

    http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t

Immediately access this URL resulted in the expected answer text string:

    Ver12.1.3_B140430.1010

I could also successfully access the Weblogic administration Console (http://[host]:[port]/console) and confirm the Weblogic is running, and that Mapviewer was correctly deployment up and running as well.

However, at this point, if I try to access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c via http://[host]:[port]/MapViewer , the Console launch page does not appear (as described above).

at this point, I wonder why the Oracle demo site works (http://slc02okf.oracle.com) and me does not work.  I assumed that the demonstration site for the Oracle Mapviewer used Mapviewer 12 c.  I based this assumption on the fact of demonstration site for this Orqacle (http://slc02okf.oracle.com/mvdemo/demo/oracle_maps_demo_v2.jsp) displays a header SEO Mapviewer 12 c (see image below).

    Clipboard04.jpg

However, when I questioned the version of Oracle Demo site URL (i.e. ) http://slc02okf.Oracle.com/MapViewer/omserver?getv=t ), I see that they run Mapviewer 11 g!

    Ver11_1_1_7_3_B140717

So, long story short, deployed anyone successfully Mapviewer 12 c and if so, can you access the Console of Administration Mapviewer 12 c?

    Any contribution is greatly appreciated.

    Wayne

    Hi Wayne,

Please check that Java is used to start the WebLogic Server. If the JDK 8, try starting with JDK 7 to see if the spin connection problem is resolved.

    Thank you.

  • Prevent users without access to authorization WCP Administration Console

    Hi all
I've created a normal user A not great, but no permissions for this user. I have A WCP Adminstration Console user connection and the result I always access WCP Administration Console. And I can see the page of resources and Services page.
And I discovered big problem here with the user I can change the position of all the page in the page 'management of Pages '. This action may take effect immediately and show it on site. In detail the position of link to pages in the main menu of the portal will change.

Did you prevent a user from authenticating, without permission of the WCP Adminstration Console administration access?
Do you have any idea about this?

    Thank you very much!

Simply apply the Security Admin page directly in jazn-"Data.xml".

Remove authenticated role and only assign this page to the Administrator role.

To see the applied to the admin page security follow these steps:
    (1) go to the jazn-"Data.xml"
    (2) in resource Type, select Web Page
    (3) check "Show Web Pages imported from libraries of the ADF
    (4) select "view resources with subsidies."
    (5) see you admin page, remove authenticated and add the role of administrator.

    Kind regards.

  • How to change password Weblogic Admin console

    Hi friends,
I change weblogic console admin password for the console goes to security realms-> myrealm-> user-> weblogic and then the new password password. I am able to connect through new admin password.

I have two servers managed running on the weblogic in the same field. What I have to change somewhere else also after above change of password. I mean if I need to restart the managed server. It starts normally or it give any error.
As I did in the Production environment. So I can't restart Server Admin. Please provide the whole procedure of change of password using the Weblogic administration console.

Once you change the password for the console, we should also need update the boot.properties file in the security file

    *\domains\\servers\AdminServer\security\boot.properties*

Once you change the password for the administrator of the server, it will be the effect of the password for the managed server also.

So to reset for managed servers and if possible create for managed boot.properties is also used.

Even if it does not, copy the * 'data' * folder slot *\domains\\servers\AdminServer\* to the management servers directory accordingly *\domains\\servers\<>

    This should solve the problem.

    I hope this helps.

    JEETS.
