  I've just created a new user account and gave him administrator privileges. After the reboot, Windows XP Professional does not allow me to connect on the former administrator account.   If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.

  In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.

  If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data.   As the title says, I basically can't do anything right now, and BC support has not really been able to help me I asked on this already here in the forums (when the site was still active, it is now no longer). When trying to log in to the administration console, all I get is: 'ERROR: this site is currently unavailable. " "For more information, please contact: (my name)." And Yes, I am the administrator. I created the Web site using Adobe Muse and published using that. No other party was involved, with the exception of Godaddy.com where I bought the domain.

  Unlike, I have been told it should be, I don't get it and never got a form to fill out my payment information to opening a session on the administration console.

  I also get and only accurate above the error message when you try to submit a support ticket, the only place where that I could ask is so here.

  As I mentioned in my previous post, I could not fix my credit card details when the card was no longer valid because I was on vacation and somehow fails to access this menu on mobile. A week later, I received another email, telling me that all the admin services have been disabled until I pay the Bill. At this point I started to receive the above error message. Now, a few weeks later, the site itself has been turned off - I can not even pay the Bill.

  As I'm not very used to do the entire installation from a Web site, I certainly don't want to spend that time again, but just want to pay the overdue Bill.

  There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
  • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
  • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
  • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
  • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
  • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
  • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)

  Step 1: Install the driver as an administrator
  a. shut down the computer runs.
  b. start the computer and the connection as an administrator.
  c. find the driver configuration file, right-click on the file and click "Run as Administrator".
  d. follow the instructions in the wizard to install the driver.
  e. restart the computer once the driver is installed.
   
  Step 2: Try to install the driver to boot either by disabling all non-Microsoft programs

  I searched but did not find all related messages, I start a new thread.

  I have to fix the MBR and normally you can do this via the recovery XP and then Console "fixmbr". As you may know Toshiba Recovery DVD know only in a sense - the way hard "format hdd or first partition".

  * How can I fix the MBR on the standard MBR MS when no original XP installation disk/DVD is usable - Toshiba Recovery DVD are available
  tried the XP CD from my office... but you know... it doesn´t work.

  Additional information:
  I deleted my HARD disk partition table and cannot access the first partition to a partition that would be very useful that I could try to recover this partition later - but I can't. My A200 SatPro also comes without floppy disk but can boot from USB.

  Yes, the thing with the recovery console fixmbr should do the trick, and I am a bit surprised that your XP from your other computer disk does not work.

  You are not able to boot from it, or what is the exact problem? Because you will not be able to repair with your recovery disk.
  Advise you to try another original XP disc, may borrow from a friend and try again. You may need to change the boot priority to operate.

  So I'm at the end of my rope with this one... it lasts for months, and I keep revisitng every two weeks to try and fix that and every time to be completely frustrated.  I found this forum tonight, so here goes...

  We downloaded a few games on the HP Games Web site.  We download them and everything works fine.  Then, we will open the games and this pop up error message:
  "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

  These games used to run fine, and I have no idea why they now have problems.  We have a Vista operating system, 1 account who is the administrator, the Parental control is disabled (or if we believe).

  If anyone can please help it would be much appreciated!  We have a monthly membership to this site of game and continue to accumulate credits, but may not use it.  It makes us crazy!

  Thank you for posting.  It seems that the program is no longer on your computer.  This can happen if the game files are deleted, but the game itself has not been uninstalled correctly.  I recommend you to download the game again to a location on your computer where you can easily find and install it.  This should fix the problem.
