Web browser plays is not nice in Internet Explorer

I created a web viewer to one of our magazines Adobe DPS. It seems to work perfectly in Chrome and Safari and Firefox. But my client has many many PC, all using IE9 and above and can not operate at all. I tested the Viewer on Browserstack, and it's an epic fail on all versions of Internet Explorer. Any ideas?

I apologise for the inconvenience. I think I have a solution, which should fix this for you. To fix it, you must change a configuration setting for the content for the Web Viewer. To do this.

  1. Connect to: https://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/app.html
  2. Click on "account Administration".
  3. Select the account for which the content viewer is configured, and then click "User Configuration".
  4. Scroll down to the section "Content Viewer for the Web".
  5. In the field "URL of Hosting", make sure that your URL has a slash at the end. So in your case, make sure that it is said: http://rolls-royce.connectmedia.cc/
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'submit '.

Allow 30 minutes for the changes to propagate through the system. After that try to navigate Internet Explorer again. Please let me know if the problem doesn't go away.

    OK, so your last post, it seems the widgets are the cause of the problem. Let's see if we can understand why:

    • Have you tried to create a NEW Widget of emptiness of Composition and which fill with new content?
    • Have you tried a full download instead of only changed files?
    • Also can you check with domain host that send you to the right directory, and whether or not they have made changes to the ftp upload?
    • When you export the site in HTML format instead of FTP download and compare the files that are generated in the HTML folder, they are identical to those published via FTP?

    If this does not help, it would be useful that you could provide us some screenshots of errors you are seeing, you use parameters of publication etc. (you can block-out user name and password for security reasons of course).

    To work around this problem, follow these steps:

    1. start Internet Explorer.
    2. on the view menu, click Internet Options.
    3. on the Advanced tab, clear the do not save encrypted pages on the
    disk check box.
    4. go to the page where you received the error.
    5. right click on the file link, click on save target under, select one
    destination and then click Save.

  • Transition CSS does not work in Internet Explorer

    I only tested in Firefox and IE, and for some reason any the legend that is supposed to slide comes automatically appears in Internet Explorer.     You could get the same effect by using a transformation matrix of IE in IE8 and below, (but I would not recommend this). The other possibility is to use a transform of IE9 with the content property property (this property css insert text in the document) that way when you hover over the image that 'extra' text is inserted. But this is not a gradual slide in as the property of transition is needed for this.

    The other alternative is to use slide-in jQuery plugin.

    (I'll cause a disagreement now, then you have been warned!) -

    IE8 is now on a decline in its use for private users, so if you're not targeting companies or professional users, don't worry about this browser too. Also IE introduced an automatic upgrade of the browser in its system of regular updates, (auto updates) users not on XP will have the most recent version of Internet Explorer installed for their system, (currently in Australasia, other regions in the fall of this year).

    XP will be IE8, (using xp down at approximately 2% per month, currently 34 percent of the total, (Microsofts digits not mine)) Vista will be IE9, Windows 7/8 will be IE10, but illegal copies of windows are not these or other updates.

    Install, update and run these programs in this order. They are listed in order of efficiency.
    (Not all programs to detect malware, you may need to run them all to solve your problem.)

    The executable file for IE is called iexplore.exe.  You can click Start and then type iexplore in the search field.

    Microsoft has a tool to resolve this that should return the IE icon on the desktop - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945402. Under the fix for me article, there is a button, you must click called Microsoft Fix it.  Click run in the file download dialog box. Follow the steps in the Wizard icon on the desktop to display Internet Explorer to create an Internet Explorer desktop icon.

    Answer him back if you try this method and let us know if it is your problem.  It is a relatively new tool and it would be nice to receive feedback on how it works.  There are several other applets fix it available for further questions.  More information can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/fixit#tab0.

I checked they are RGB images, because apparently some people accidentally use the CMYK format. IE is configured to display the images - I checked that also. The images used to display properly in Internet Explorer, and the images have not been changed on the server. The content was created using Dreamweaver CS6 and Photoshop CS6.

    I tried to view the page on other computers running IE, and they also have this problem.

    Any idea of what could be causing this to happen?

    I discovered that prevented a few images to display in IE 11, while other images show. The culprit was Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Once, I disabled the software Adblock Plus missing images showed once again. Interestingly, I discovered that I could cause the same effect in other browsers using Adblock software. There is either a bug in the software of Adblock, or fluid network of Adobe system, which caused some legitimate images should be blocked. Whatever it is, they do not play well together right now. All images are stored on the same domain, and none of them related off site, so it's pretty weird that they have been blocked...

    Anyway, the mystery is solved! I know people like to see a conclusion to these things as much as possible, so I'll mark this as resolved issue.

    When I look at this

    the links go back a folder/directory, and yet they are called from the root directory. I have a slight suspicion that you have two sections, one that has changed and the other has not been changed.

  • New updates of Windows since 06/11/12 is originally Vista does not connect to Internet Explorer

    I have a desktop with Vista CAREB.  It has always worked well until about June 11, 2012.  Now it does not connect to Internet Explorer. It says it is connected to the internet and that has been verified by our server.  Tried everything and eventually restored it and no problem.  Then the next day, same thing and restored.  Next day same thing so I disabled all updates and no problem.  What new update windows made in the last few days which is the cause and what can I do?

    We cannot verify that Windows Update is causing the problem, I suggest to install the Windows updates one by one and make sure that Windows Update is causing the problem.
