  Thanks for the reply. My requirement is, when check-in file to the AAU, it generates values to the property "docId" for the file that is unique. I need the value of the docId during validation webcenter capture processor. I solved this problem.

  I created a filter in the AAU for archiving profile. This filter is triggered whenever the Service factor of the AAU invoke. In this filter, I can get the value of "docID".

  We have WCI 11.1.1.8.0 Setup. It has configured WEC. However when I have the connection with the user "weblogic. It is user of domain administrator. WEC allows the user to open a session and displays the top navigation bar. However, in the body, it shows the message below

  "This user log has no appropriate rights of use WebCenter Capture"

  This happens if the user is not to capture the Application role.

  Check this box:

  Connect to EM

  Right-click in the capture_domain, select security, then the Application roles

  In the field of Stripe Application, select capture and then click on the search request roles icon to view the Capture application roles.

  WebCenter Capture is the new name to capture even Document Oracle "old." Even the official WebCenter links point to 10gR 3 documentation. Latest version is 10.1.3.5.1 and I gave some information related to it. Once, I came across the list of languages supported for OCR, but I can't find any more. In any case, it was unnecessary because there were more than 100 languages with handle only marked as "tested", which means that Oracle does not guarantee that they are all actually work as expected.

  For the Greek language, I looked inside my Document Capture, so support is there for you.

  Yes. This is the case.

  On the import Source settings tab, there is a section of the message-processing file: where there is an option to delete the file. Normally this is set as a default value.

  you will use the standard recorder instead of the println function. as you say, that only works for running javascript on the client side.

• LR 4 will not identify the 2nd hard disk in the source during import?

  I run 2 hard drives in my PC. A disc is only for programs. And the largest are for photos/music. When I go to import the source the left pane will not recognize the drive B:, C: drive only and he will recognize even my M: drive with is my outside. Im not sure what to do at this point to add the B: drive to the source. Thank you

  It is sometimes useful if you put a "fictitious" picture on a disk via Win Explorer. So, try this first and see if your player appears.

  If this does not help:

  Letter B is not a good choice for a player on a PC. It's because of the ol-old time when drive letters A and B were reserved for the disc x6.25 "(A) and the floppy disk drive (B).

  That's why the first drive in PC today is always named c. (letter)

  And, I don't know maybe that Lr does not recognize the drive letters A and B. So rename your drive B to the D drive.

  Do this in the Windows Control Panel > system and security > administrative tools > computer Nortsk > disk management. In the lower window where it shows your drives, highlight the drive in question and then go > Action > all tasks > change drive letter and path.

• FFDShow and CS4 capture questions

  I got my CS4 software and the new computer now for around 4-5 months but have not used first pro, yet (it is not actually a part of my job!). I went to capture a few videos today to find out that the software was not recognizing my Sony DCR-TRV950 via FW400. Turned off and on again, the computer itself recognizes the camcorder and the camcorder recognizes that he connected WHAT DV.

  A few violins more (turn on/off camera and noticing that when I do, it is recognized by the computer and the 'Digital video device' window pops up asking what I want to do with the detected device windows.) So, I know that the firewire cable is not defective.

  I chose the "Edit and record videos using Adobe Premiere Pro" option and all kinda froze and a dialogue box that came said:

  I didn't know exactly what thinking then decided to choose that I wouldn't use ffdshow just a moment and the program froze. I have tried through the import function of media in the photo above (disk Roxio burning software) and Windows Movie maker and the same thing happens every time.

  I tried once to "use ffdshow. (just this once) "and the program was still frozen.

  Video editing is not essential to my function here, it is something that would benefit the work and make my life happier in all - and also means that we can actually use the software, we bought! Any help would be appreciated.

  I find that very good reading DVD PowerDVD from CyberLink software. In addition, MediaPlayer Classic HC (freeware) did a good job too. I have both, but PowerDVD is my go - to. We never really had them matched by-side.

  PS - you can also check your CODEC, like K-Lite is going to crush some commercial CODECS with the free "hacked". Don't worry if your utility CODEC issues warnings about problems with the Adobe MainConcept CODEC. Those are false positives, as Adobe hides those, this programs such as K-Lite cannot overwrite them. Unfortunately, the CODEC utilities also are not correctly, and you will get the display errors. It is ManiConcept to Adobe, you're OK.

What is the problem with imSourceSettingsCommandRec and PF_SourceSettingsSuite? Now, apparently it's for a communication importer <>- effect because they (and only they) understand the real data passed in the command but it is not clear (to me, anyway) how it works, and how and when the host passes the command to the effect.   Effect of source parameters is used mainly for the setting of the user interface and management.  These effects are used for our source DPX parameters, CinemaDNG, etc..  Effect of parameters source does not provide the actual pictures.  In fact, the effect is called even with PF_Cmd_RENDER.  The images directly from the importer, which provides images according to the parameters as adopted to the importer through data prefs.  When the effect parameters source parameters are changed, the effect is called PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP, then PF_Cmd_TRANSLATE_PARAMS_TO_PREFS.  The signature of the function is:

  PF_TranslateParamsToPrefsExtra * additional)

  With the new prefs, the importer will be sent imOpenFile8, imGetInfo8, imGetIndPixelFormat, imGetPreferredFrameSize, imGetSourceVideo, etc.

  What is the problem with imSourceSettingsCommandRec and PF_SourceSettingsSuite?

  This allows the effect to communicate directly with the importer, so that it can initialize its settings properly, based on the source media.  In our settings source DPX effect, for example, in SequenceSetup, it calls PF_SourceSettingsSuite-> PerformSourceSettingsCommand(), which calls through the importer with the imPerformSourceSettingsCommand switch.  Here the importer opens to the media, is interested in the header, and initializes the prefs based on media.  For DPX, the initial settings and default pref is based on the number of bits of the video. These default preferences are passed to the effect that sets the initial values param and hiding places a copy in sequence_data to use again for future calls to SequenceResetup.

  I'll add this to the SDK documentation.   We welcome you to be among the first intrepid explorers in this area API!

• Lightroom CC will not import scanned .tif files

  I try to import a folder full of photos that I had scanned a few years ago as 120 film .tif files on my Imacon. My research told me that there are 256 items (images) in the folder, but only 11 appear in Lightroom CC import window. Any idea what's going on here? I never had problems to import files from the scanner before.

  The file names have a TIFF extension.  Needs an extension, Photoshop Lightroom does not.

• Audio file source FLV import do not?

  I use Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro to record the session of online courses.

  I then convert the FLV files records.

  I can play the FLV using Real Player - audio and video are great.

  However, I would like to convert the FLV to H264 (MP4) file, which is easier for my students to use.

  When I import the FLV source in Adobe Media Encoder, source info says that there is no audio file.

  I converted the video in any case and video is great, but of course there is no audio data.

  What Miss me?

  Yes Connect offer MP4 recording conversion, but it's an add-on to expensive.  Guess I'll make do with what the flv file.
