WebLogic and "integrated windows authentication".

I currently have a JDev11g application that integrates with the content server. This application will be deployed under Weblogic 10.3.2.

In the content server (deployed under IIS), there is an option "Login Microsoft" which retrieves the credentials from the user and saves automatically. The security of the content server contains the option "windows integrated authentication" in IIS.

I would like to reproduce this in Weblogic; where a user entering my application will automatically connect to the Content Server services without having to enter a user and password name. However, Weblogic has no equivalent to this "integrated windows authentication".

SSO is not an ideal solution, because it would require users to connect; Ideally I would be able to recover the user's Windows credentials. What would be the best way to implement this?

We run IOM on Weblogic. To get the functionality of the IWA, we use an IIS Reverse Proxy for Weblogic. IIS proxy is configured with the Proxy Weblogic plug-in. IIS provides authentication of the IWA and passes the username to weblogic through a header variable.

In IIS, you can also use a web server Apache with Mod_NTLM, JCIFS or JESPA with weblogic proxy plugin.

  • HP20002D19WM came with no software (cyberlink) key and certificates of authenticity for windows

I just bought the HP20002D19WM, which came with no software (cyberlink) key and certificates of authenticity for windows. I can't use any program cyberlink with a key number to enter. Also if I would give for somereason I wonder in my number of windows I would not be able to since I have ever trevieved it

    This is the original factory specifications for your laptop HP 2000-2d19WM. All Cyberlink OEM software should work without key, because it is not mandatory for the installed OEM mass products. Regarding the Windows product key, see Activation of Windows 8 product;

    • OEM Activation 3.0 (OA3) at the factory. A digital product key (DPK) is encrypted and installed on the motherboard BIOS during the manufacturing process. Windows 8 will be ignited automatically the first time that the computer is connected to the Internet. With systems activated by OA3, most of the computer's hardware can be replaced without the need to reactivate the software from Microsoft.

I had my hard drive replaced on my Toshiba lap top and my windows 7 is no longer considered as authentic code has rubbed off the sticker on the base of my lap top. Where can I find it?

    Option 1:

If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.

    Option 2:

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.

    Option 3:

If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

  • View 7, Identity Manager 2.6 and Windows authentication, and whether or not real SSO is required for Kerberos

I am trying to configure our environment so that users can open the Identity Manager web page and be automatically authenticated via their currently logged on credentials of domain.  I activated the Windows authentication and configured Kerberos in Identity Manager.  However, when you select a pool of offices a command prompt is received always ask the user password.  I read https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 2143567 and understand that maybe expected behavior.  True SSO would solve this problem?  I read that true SSO supports Kerberos.  Is there another way?  The general objective is to allow the user to log on to Windows and be able to access the office pools and applications through identity web page Manager uninvited credentials again.

I just wanted to know all that true SSO did indeed me reach my goal.

  • Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

    Hello

Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

We migrated BPEL 10g and 11g. I understand that this integrated weblogic server is part of jdeveloper.

Integration of weblogic server allows successful simulation of the weblogic Server real 11g which we installed as a separate product?

or should we connect jdeveloper to weblogic server 11g instead of the integrated weblogic Server?

    Please notify.

    Thank you

No, built-in weblogic server is not necessary in jdeveloper for bpel upgrade.

If you are migrating bpel go separate domain and weblogic/managed servers, don't use integrated weblogic.

  • Remote server and Windows authentication

    Greetings,

I have a remote server running on port 80, what I want to connect to via RDS, but in IIS,.
anonymous access is disabled and to discover the site running on this issue, Windows authentication is required.

I have successfully connected to this remote server of CFBuilder via RDS only after disabling Windows authentication
and which allows anonymous access, but once I'm back, CF Builder cannot connect (error 401 Unauthorized).

Is it possible to configure a remote in CFBuilder so that it passes my Windows authentication
credentials for her?  Or, is there a workaround to do, other than disabling Windows authentication?

    Thank you
    -Jose

The only work-around to this problem that I found is disable Windows authentication for the CFIDE virtual directory that you create.  You can leave it on for all others.  This is what I ended up doing and its worked flawlessly since.

  • Problem running a page jspx on 11.1.2.4.0 on the weblogic Server integrated with 11.1.1.6.0 already installed

    Hi friends,

I installed a different version of the JDev 11.1.2.4.0 according to my new work requirements and I am unable to perform my .jspx page... I have already installed 11.1.1.6.0 and works... Here's the error that I get... someone can help me with this...

"The Server Instance cannot be started because the Weblogic domain integrated has not successfully built".

I hope that you have not installed the 11.1.2.4.0 in the same middleware_home you isstalled the 11.1.1.6.0. In this case, you must reinstall both.

If you have installed the 11.1.2.4.0 in middleware (empty) different House, you must check the log file, what exact error has occurred during installation. The location of the log are in the log window.

In any case, you must remove the system11.1.2.x.x.x/DefaultDomain before trying again.

  • Compaq CQ58: Windows authentication after the restoration?

    Hello

The hard drive in my laptop girlfriends died. I can't do general recovery, but I can buy one here at HP.

Hard drive is easy to change.

Question is, do I need the windows authentication code during installation? We have no more of this code.

    Peter

    Hi Peter,.

    You are welcome

Unlike previous editions of Windows, where there was a visible label with the product key, any machine shipped with Windows 8 or 8.1 is the activation key into a physical (uefi bios) chip on the system board.

Once you have installed the new hard drive, windows 8 recovery media will read this key during the installation and will activate automatically - you will not be prompted to enter a product key.

    Kind regards

  • A web service for windows authentication

    Hello
I have a number of web services on a windows server.
These web services are for a program client (in vb.net), access and retrieve data.
This client program are launching for the PC of the individual user.
The above configuration is in a windows domain.
Currently, web services allow anonymous access. This means that anyone in the Organization, with the correct URL is able to trigger the web service.
We are asked to remove anonymous access and all forms authentication configuration.
    Questions

    1. What is the best practice for configuration for a web service for windows authentication.

    2. We also have a couple of unix servers. They are required to access the web services (with the correct authentication). How can I get a cross-environment configuration?

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

    Hello

You uninstall not she, you reinstall Vista on top of it

You have the Vista DVD, so do a clean install with it.

As Vista is pre-installed you will need probably not the Producr Key that is on the sticker on your laptop if you use of the manufacturer provided recovery disk

If you need it, insert the product key from the sticker on the laptop case

Boot from the Vista DVD and follow the instructions of the manufacturer.

Make sure that the CD / DVD Drive (optical drive) is the 1st in the boot order.
