    Thanks for your help.

Please don't get me wrong: but I just wanted to be sure that you have installed WLS 10.3.2 (and not 10.3.x).

Did you install patch WDJ7 as well? If you check the article ID [1063762.1] in MOS, you will find the notice:

Important: You must apply the WDJ7 Patch to the WLS home before the installation/upgrade of the Grid control. Refer to Note 1072763.1 for instructions on how to apply the patch online/offline to WLS.

  • Patch for WebLogic and partner patch Java - anyone done previously?

We had problems on our outdoor Production eSupplier portal and Oracle recommended a patch for WebLogic to WLS WLS 10.3.6.0.0 10.3.6.0.11

Also in Java patch 21494055 had to . We have applied the patches to our DEV server and it seems to be OK, however, it is difficult to test because there is charge of the user very little in DEV.

We are concerned of applying it to the Prod, in case it goes south and wonder if anyone has done this before and who knows if there is a procedure to regularize if it caused problems with Prod because this server is very high profile!

    Thank you

    Allen

You can go to Weblogic 10.3.6.0.11 safely in the production, I see every day.  There is only one question, you must be aware of which seems to be popping up in environments that are consuming a WebService (WSDL).  I would go ahead and add the workaround solution, because it comes to production and someone will most likely add a url to Web service somewhere:

E - IB: using TLS over HTTP connectors SSL communication fails after short period of time with SSLHandshakeException Due to Cipher Suite Order (Doc ID 1946641.1)
  • Authentication failed LDAP WebLogic 10.3.2 after the Patch of DC MS14 - 066 (KB2992611)

I have configured an LDAP authenticator in my 10.3.2 WebLogic domain. Connection worked until the domain controller has been patched with MS14-066 (KB2992611). Domain controller OS is Win Server2008R2 (x 64).

The log file after a restart of the domain service looks like this:

    <>< BEA-000000 authenticate the user: weblogic >

<>< BEA-000000 new LDAP connection for local connection to use port 636 xxx.xxx.com host is false >

    <>< BEA-000000 created new LDAP LDAPConnection connection {ldapVersion:2 bindDN: ""} >

    < BEA-000000 > > < [Security: 090294] couldn't make connection >

    Hopefully, you can help

    Thank you

Installation of the MS14-066 update patch has solved the problem.

  • The patch of Weblogic 12.1.2 is conflict, what should I use?

    Hi all

I try to patch the weblogic 12.1.2 with patch 17577626 and 17753313 number. The OPatch told me that

Patch [17577626] conflict with patches [17205459] in the Oracle home.

Patch [17753313] conflict with patches [16814982] in the Oracle home.

Could you please help to advise that one should I apply as a patch?

    Hello

Classes in the two patches above come into conflict with the existing patches in your WLS 12.1.2 environment.

To resolve this conflict, you must apply the patches of fusion. Please open a SR with Oracle (WLS - Jtech) teams to provide patches of the fusion.

18388554 and 18400310 are the two merging patches you need. But if there is more conflict, a technical support engineer can help you.

  • Application of WebLogic Server patches - cannot locate the specified product directory

We strive to apply the CPU October patch our installation of WebLogic 10.3.6 on Windows Server 2003.  However, when we run the below command:

    BSU-install - patch_download_dir = E:\ofm11g\utils\bsu\cache_dir - patchlist = BYJ1-prod_dir=E:\ofm11g\wlserver_10.3

    We receive this error:

Could not locate the specified product directory. [E:\ofm11g\wlserver_10.3]

This directory is valid.  We organize two instances using this installation of WLS - Oracle reports 11.1.1.6 and Oracle Portal 11.1.1.6.  We strive to apply the patch with the same user who installed the software.

I was able to run this command on another server that is running Oracle Internet Directory 11.1.1.6.

    Any ideas?

I managed to solve this problem by ensuring that l'E:\ofm11g\wlserver_10.3 contains two files:. Home and. product.properties. after I copied from another server and amended to adapt to my environment, I was able to install this patch.
