WebLogic Server down on OEM Cloud Control
Hello
I have my 12.1.0.2 cloud control. I installed the plug-in of GoldenGate and after that I get alert suite which means my weblogic server is broken on my cloud of OEM will.
Host=SGPvPSCC12c.ap.datahost.int Target type=Oracle HTTP Server Target name=/EMGC_GCDomain/instance1/ohs1<https://SGPvPSCC12c.ap.datahost.int:7802/em/redirect?pageType=TARGET_HOMEPAGE&targetName=%2FEMGC_GCDomain%2Finstance1%2Fohs1&targetType=oracle_apache> Categories=Availability Message=The Oracle HTTP Server instance is down<https://SGPvPSCC12c.ap.datahost.int:7802/em/redirect?pageType=sdk-core-event-console-detailEvent&issueID=ED53896CA3EE5FD5E043350019AC1CB7> Severity=Fatal Event reported time=Dec 12, 2013 5:32:01 PM SGT Target Lifecycle Status=Production Platform=x86_64 Line of Business=Data Centre Operating System=Linux Event Type=Target Availability Event name=Status Availability status=Down<https://SGPvPSCC12c.ap.datahost.int:7802/em/redirect?pageType=sdk-core-avail-status-overview&timePeriod=byDay&target=%2FEMGC_GCDomain%2Finstance1%2Fohs1&type=oracle_apach e> Rule Name=Rule set for production group PROD,Rule 1 Event Target Down Rule Owner=GRIDMGR Update Details: The Oracle HTTP Server instance is down
Here, I have a few questions.
(1) if my weblogic is down, why my CC OEM works great and all alerts are coming? What is the reason that we have weblogic on our OEM Cloud control, which is a prerequisite to install CC OEM? What is the purpose of this weblogic moving downwards as you can see above the alert. What happens if I don't start the weblogic?
(2) how to start the weblogic (HTTP). Do I need a name of user and password to start this?
(3) what is the sequence to start OEM CC after rebooting a server (DB->->-> agent WHO Weblogic) is this correct order?
Thank you
(1) start by checking if the WebTier really down. See the instructions in the following MOS note:
EM 12: status of Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.2 command displays the WebTier Cloud is down even if the WHO's and Running (Doc ID 1561468.1)
Note: If the version of your WebTier (Oracle HTTP Server) is 11.1.1.6, it is recommended that you apply the patch 13490778 to avoid false alerts on Oracle HTTP server (status).
(2) the OPINION score above includes instructions to start the Oracle HTTP Server (e.g. ohs1) with the command opmnctl. Also, when you run the command "emctl start who", the WebTier will be launched before the WHO. Thus, if restarting of the WHO is not a problem, you can run ' emctl who all stop "to stop all processes including the WebTier WHO, then run"emctl start CMS"to restart as well AS of the WebTier.
(3) see the following doc for instructions on starting the components of EM12c:
Start and stop of the Enterprise Manager components
By default, the WHO and the agent are started automatically at startup of the host.
I hope this helps.

OEM Cloud control 12 - you do not have a sufficient privilege to display the metadata.
The user who has administrator privileges you try to view the results of a schema comparison becomes an error:

You don't have sufficient privileges to view metadata.
There is no error if the user is set to a super administrator.
Did anyone know what roles or the credentials must be set to view this report as an administrator?
Hello
You must grant the user roles view access to employment version of comparison.
To do this:
- Go to the page work activity.
- Select Status: Succeeded, click OK.
- Select the version of comparison work and click on modify.
- Click the Access tab, and then add.
- Find and select the user. Will be the privilege of the default view.

How inegrate OID with OEM 12 c Cloud Control
Hi all
Is someone can you please tell me how I can integrate OID with OEM 12 c Cloud Control. As we integrate our OID with weblogic administration console, is it possible to integrate the control of cloud OEM with OID?
Thanks in advance!Hello
Please find the URL below:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/doc.121/e24473/security.htm#BABGAGIJFollowing article will provide you with information related to the integration of the OID:
13.2.5 oracle Internet Directory (OID)
You can implement an OID authentication scheme have Enterprise Manager to authenticate users against the OID.
The emctl config auth oid on the WHO command creates an OracleInternetDirectoryAuthenticator type WebLogic authentication provider that uses the configuration specified by the command parameter values. All the configuration values specified not retain the default values. Tuning and modification of the OID advanced configuration settings is performed through the Console of Administration WebLogic Server and not the emctl config oid auth command.
Prerequisites
LDAP Directory Internet Oracle server is turned on.
Run the oid emctl config auth on each SGD command.
emctl config auth oid-ldap_host
- - ldap_principal ldap_port [-ldap_credential ] [-sysman_pwd ] - user_base_dn - group_base_dn
where:ldap_host: LDAP host name
ldap_port: the LDAP port
ldap_principal: the unique name (DN) of the user LDAP of the WebLogic Server should use to connect to the LDAP server.
ldap_credential: password for the user specified by ldap_principal.
user_base_dn: the basis of unique name (DN of the tree in the LDAP directory that contains the users).
group_base_dn - the base distinguished name (DN of the tree in the LDAP directory that contains the groups).
Example:
emctl config auth oid-ldap_host "ldaphost" - ldap_port "3060-" ldap_principal "cn = sleep" - user_base_dn "cn = users, dc = us, dc = oracle, dc = com" - group_base_dn "cn = groups, dc = us, dc = oracle, dc = com" - ldap_credential "my_ldap_password" - sysman_pwd "my_sysman_password".
Stop the SGD.emctl stop who-all
Restart the SGD.
emctl start SGD
Note:
For deployments of Enterprise Manager in several instances of the WHO, emctl config auth oid must be run on each SGD. Each MSO must be restarted so that the changes take effect.
Test the Configuration of OIDSUse the WebLogic Server Console of Administration (tab users and groups) to check if the configuration of the OID is successful. To access this tab, select Home/summary of Security Realms/myrealm/users and groups. Tab users and groups, you will see the users and the groups showing the OID.
Best regards

OEM recommended 12 c Cloud Control Monitoring
Hi all
We are in the deployment process of models in OEM 12 c (version 4) for, among other things, CRM, BRM, DPOS, OSM, UIM, WCC, BEEP and FMW of surveillance.
Is it perhaps all best practice documentation out there for what to monitor for each component? My apologies if my terminology is not quite to the height, I don't have much experience with OEM other than monitoring of databases with tools out-the-box, but I understand that there is no so-called management packs for most, if not all of the above, and that the installed agents will likely include things like CPU usage , memory and disk etc, but I am concerned about something else, that we might need to monitor.
If there is some kind of guide to application of control specifically for each of these items, I think this should help me tremendously.
Thanks in advance.
There are certified/recommended models available for many objectives in the company-> monitor-> oversight models. For example, Ebs, SOA, etc. I suggest you look at those to begin with. For DB, Cluster, RAC, etc. recommended are the default settings, so you can create a model of these default values by going to oversight as models above, select Create, and then select the option to create of target Type. This will allow a drop-down list to select category (database) and then target type (for example database Instance). Then all the metrics available db will be responsible, with departure recommended thresholds. Of course, every company has different indicators or thresholds, so there is not 1 correct answer, but it's a good starting point.
Key points to remember-
-default incident rule provided by oracle takes no action on warning events
-recommend create as on rule Inc. and create your own you can adjust/edit, and then clear out of box
-If you get too many alerts/emails, adjust thresholds or remove thresholds to stop completely to the supervision of models
-only to set thresholds for the items you will actually act on
-use reports for others
Few things I recommend to read:

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12 c Cloud Control is broken after a reboot
People,
I use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12 c Cloud Control version 12.1.0.3. It was all work until we rebooted the box.
Now, nothing is listening on the port 7801 more (by netstat), but if I put port 7302 instead in the browser's address bar, it'll take me actually to the OEM login page. Once I'm connected, many things show that there are problems with communication between WHO and the agents.
The shutdown process was not very successful and cleaning, shown below. There was a lot of java still running process that I had to kill.
[oracle@{BOX} ~]$$OMS_HOME/bin/emctl who all stop - force

Stopping WebTier...
WebTier could not be stopped
Error occurred: WebTier could not be stopped
Please see /usr/local/app/oracle/product/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1/sysman/log/emctl.log for details of the errorFrom, it looked quite well, but still we get these problems I mentioned above.
[oracle@{BOX} GCDomain] $$ OMS_HOME/bin/emctl start SGD

From Oracle Management Server...
Departure WebTier...
WebTier started successfully
Oracle Management Server started successfully
Management Server Oracle is in place
This seems like a simple question, because we didn't change anything except adding memory to the box and restart.
Is there anyone experiencing the same problem? Is there any solution to this?
Brian
Brian,
Can you access the console on https://oraaux1:7801 / em now?
And, you are able to start the agent by running $AGENT_HOME/bin/emctl status agent?
Regarding your initial post, is also the repository on the same host? If so, the problem could be due to the repository database was not entirely upwards when WHO launched on the reboot of the host system (gcstartup) startup script.
When the SGC does not work as expected, you can take a look at SGD/monitoring of log files for clues. If necessary, please see:
Location and configuration of the Enterprise Manager log files

Hello.
We have installed WebLogic Server 12.1.3 on Linux x86_64 file fmw_12.1.3.0.0_wls.jar whithout any errors.
Then load URL handler company fusion middleware control http:// < Host >: 7001/em we received 404 (not found) error
There are no links, files and dir with EM on the host in/oracle/middleware.
According to the documentation, it must be installed and worked after you start WebLogic server.
Please, please help me understand it y it, or how we can install it.
I think that you need to install FMW Infrastructure (ADF Runtime)
You can download it from this URL
Application Development Framework Downloads
Install FMW Infrastructure on the same folder of weblogic Middleware and then create a new domain with Enterprise Manager option.

Hi all
I have a backup of the database that runs every day at 02:00 by control OEM Cloud 12 c. Now I want to delete (and also reschedule) this annex reuse OEM. Is this possible? If yes how can I do, please help me in this.
database version is 11.2.0.3 and operating system is Linux.
If you need the information I will provide
Yes, you can remove it. Backups on demand through OEM is made via the EM Employment Service. You can access these jobs through the Page of the work activity.
Connect to the database, click on the company activity, job, job.
Locate the next scheduled task and click on it. Click the Delete task. Choose to delete all scheduled tasks, (compared to the next iteration of the task in the Task Scheduler...)
This post will be deleted and remember, there is no way to add this work to the library of work, so if there is nothing specific in the setup of this work that you want to keep, take note of it before you remove it from the work activity.
Thank you

Unable to start WebLogic Server 12.1.3.0.0
Hello
I'm set up a compact fieldfor Oracle Business Process Management Suite Quick Start.
The next step is to start the server administrator but it fails with the following exception:
«< < WLS Kernel > > <><>< 1425397458858 > < BEA-090402 > < authentication refused: Boot invalid identity.» The user name or password, or both in the identity of startup file (boot.properties) is not valid. The identity of start-up may have changed since the identity of boot file was created. Please edit and update the identity file to start with the correct values of username and password. The first time that the identity of starting update file is used to start the server, these new values are encrypted. ' > '.
Then I found the post managed Weblogic server may not be able to start because < BEA-000386 > < server subsystem is not and we have tried all the options:
1 change the boot.properties file to... /Security/boot.properties
-username = weblogic
-password = BIENVENUE1
2. rename the boot.properties file, run the server as a process in the foreground, when it asks for a user name and password entered weblogic /eu1
the journal of option 2 is:

I've corrected the username and password when configuring domain = weblogic/eu1. But maybe I'm wrong, then how can they can again verified?
Thank you!
Hello
It seems that there is a problem with the combination of weblogic/eu1, i.e. perhaps you misspelled the username or the password.
Please, check this blog to restore the name of the weblogic server admin user/pass - ORACLE-BASE - reset the AdminServer password in WebLogic 11 g and 12 c
Hope this helps,
Anatoli

access to the weblogic Server console problem
Hi all
We have a problem of access to the weblogic Server console page.
We have fresh installed the Enterprise Manager Cloud control 12 c and we can access the MS pages without problems.
When trying to connect to the weblogic Server (https:// < our_server >: 7101/console) with Firefox, IE11 or if the page is loading and loading without showing the login page.
But when trying to connect to this address with a place (elinks) browser on the unix machine we'll see the first page immediately.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Michael
Hi all
We solved the problem in another way: we opened the ports http access.
Because issues were security settings in Internet Explorer.
Thank you

Cloud Control 12 c, host on suspended state
Hi guys,.
I have a 12 c Cloud Control Facility.
Recently, I update server plugins for 12.1.4.7 version and then I upgraded agent plugins for 12.1.4.7 version.
Update was very good, but now, agent status is "interrupted".
Other guests and agents, who have still not improved, works very well (active status).
Agent is not blocked.
emctl status agent
So, guys, any ideas?
Thank you.
Hello
Could u pls try to manually start the collection.
emctl control agent runCollection
Check if the measurement of the response is still running
Emctl status agent Planner | Response from grep
Try to download the agent
Download emctl agent
Pls check the log files from the command above and let us know...
Also, OEMS, have you tried to end the blackout?
