WebWork app works on ripple but no device

I developed my first application on WebWorks (audio straming), everything works great on ripple, but once I Pack & sign the app for deploitment, the device does not work it when I installed using the browser.

http://CRM-Promociones.com/BB/OTAInstall/

I already check the , sign the app for api blocked (I'm using audio.player) and I don't know what else to check in order to make my app works as requirements.

All the advice, it will be appreciate it.

As suggested, I used the AUDIO of HTML5 tag

http://www.w3schools.com/HTML5/html5_audio.asp

Eliminate the audioplayer.js and the app works as expected, thanks.

  • Advertising WebWorks service works in ripple?

    I am trying to add a banner to my request of WebWorks for OS 6/7 phones.  I think I have my correct code in my app, but when I test in Wellington I ever see all ads appear.  This feature cannot be tested in ripple?  My code is as follows:

    config. XML

      http://www.blackberry.com/">

    index.html

    .
    .
    .

    . . .

    My javascript file:

    var zoneId = 12345; // I have my legit ID in my code
            var bannerObj = new blackberry.advertising.Banner(zoneId, "bannerID");

    I tried to test in Google and RIM native ripple.  If the ripple does not work for the service of advertising how to test this point?  Compile the code in a .bar and load it into one of the Phone Simulator?

    Hi bnolan001

    If you read the Advertising API Docs, you will notice that they are only supported OS 6.0 + and not waving. You must package the application in a .cod file (.bar's playbook not smartphone) and load it into a real device OR a simulator.

  • application runs on the ripple, but not device

    Hi - This is a newbie question.  I try using ripple of stable development and then compile the application for execution on a smartphone.

    There seems to be 2 different ways to use ripple.  It is like an extension of Chrome, described on this page:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Web-and-WebWorks-development/how-to-use-ripple-instead-of-the...

    A second way he starts as an application independent, described on this page:

    https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/ww_getting_started/getting_started_with_ripp...

    The second mode automates much of the process of packaging app, as described here:

    https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/ww_getting_started/creating_an_app_1885567_1...

    These seem to be the 2 different operating modes, but I've not found any discussion about the difference.  Am I missing something?  The two modes will be running test applications - for example, Hello world and the sample application UIExamples.

    Only the second mode has settings options on the key icon which automates application packaging.  Maybe I don't have something set up properly in Chrome for it get there?

    When it runs as a standalone application, it is very slow and many attribute tags are not displayed correctly, which makes me wonder if it's supposed to work in the corresponding mode, or if something is not installed correctly.

    In standalone mode it signals that he successfully built both the Hello World application and the UIExample app, and the JavaLoader said he manages to load on my Torch 9800.  Icons appear on the torch, but applications do anything when I tap on the icons.

    Thanks a lot for any clarification on how to properly install and use ripple.

    You don't need to change your paths relative to use local: / / /..., you just use the local: / / / path if you load a page from a remote domain, and you want this remote to access local domain packed files.

    All my applications use relative paths.

    Did you sign your application before attempting to run it on the device?  By looking at the output that you have validated the bbwp it shows that you not sign the application... If the application is not signed, it will not work on a real device.

    Ripple Chrome plugin is still available, as we work through some of the other features of the Beta 1 update which will be released at the end of this month.  The plug-in in Chrome is gradually and will set up a plan to end of life.

  • What is the correct process for the construction of webworks + apps cordova with ripple?

    Hello, I'm developing an application targeting os6 and 7 devices using phonegap and tests through the emulator to ripple. The emulator seems to be missing the package for blackberry in cordova apache mode option. Switching mode webworks brings up the option. However, the deviceready event that cordova expects is not raised in this mode. Therefore, do not start apps according to the deviceready event.

    Is there something that I am missing?

    WebWorks and Cordova are two separate web platforms.

    WebWorks mode, you will be able to imitate WebWorks APIs belay the WebWorks SDK to your content of HTML5 (sign) package in a BlackBerry application.

    In Cordova mode, you will be able to emulate the Cordova APIs (including the deviceready), however there is no integration with the Cordova SDK for real packaging process. You will need to follow the documentation of Cordova for packaging and signing.
    http://Cordova.Apache.org/docs/en/3.1.0/guide_platforms_index.MD.html#platform%20Guides

  • App works on XP, but not Win 7

    I'm trying thinapp some application we use. Here are a few details... If I have this package on a Windows XP computer, I can deploy virtual machines Windows XP but not the 64-bit Windows 7 machines.

    As I'm going down to XP, I then created a computer package 64-bit Windows 7, SP1... I used this machine to install the application, the application works fine, so I know that the application can operate perfectly well on Windows 7 x 64... I go ahead and wrap it up. I then went back to my own os snapshot and try to run the application packaged on the same machine that I packed on and no luck. The Windows Setup program starts to run for some reason any and then I get "cannot find the specified file" I tried setting the WOW64 and tried a certain isolation modes: fusion and WriteCopy.

    Any ideas? I wasn't looking to pack on Windows 7 32-bit because I is not currently using it in my environment

    Mike,

    I ThinApp had Wavereader 4.2 successfully after a lot of troubleshooting, tested on XP and Win 7 (32/64).

    Can you IM your personal email so I can send you the ThinApp project folder integer (except the bin folder) via dropbox?

    All you need is just run the file build.bat which includes your ThinApp license and creates the bin for you.

  • WebWorks app does not work on the device (openDatabase appeal fails)

    This has caused me a lot of grief, and I'm hoping to sum it up it here and find an answer.

    The app works well using Chrome and ripple. This application uses jQuery and jQuery Mobile and need to use a SQLite database. I read on the HTML5toGearsAPI is necessary if you want to support BBOS 5.0, which is included as well.

    When I insert the app on my torch (my physical device) it shows the splash screen and then some time screen. By adding some alert statements to each line in my document.ready function, I can say that the command open database is a failure.  I can't understand why. I feel I made some sort of mistake noobie stoopid.

    So here's the components of my html file and the command open on the javascript script.

    hea
           titlMyAp/titl
           link rel="stylesheet" href="css/jquery.mobile-1.0b1.min.css"
        script type="text/javascript" src="js/html5_init.js" id="html5_init/scrip
           script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.6.2.min.js/scrip
           script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.mobile-1.0b1.min.js/scrip
        script type="text/javascript" src="js/myapp.js/scrip
       /hea

    // JScript File
    var _db;

    $(document).ready(function() {

        alert("Ready");
        _db = openDatabase("myDB", "1.0", "test", 1024 * 1024 * 2, null);

        alert("after open");
    }

    You're not supposed to include things HTML5toGears when running on non - 5.0 devices? Is there a sort of call onError that I can use to get more details? It's really a problem, and I can't even to go beyond GO.

    Hi billfoust,

    I think that the reason is the recall of null. Remove it and I think it will solve your problems.

  • can I submit a webworks App (blackberry 10) for approval, but only tested in the emulator in the vm player?

    can I submit a webworks App (blackberry 10) for approval, but only tested in emulator in the drive of the VM, since I don't have any blackberry Device?

    where to find the differences between the web of BB and phonegap works,... preparation & submission?

    We understand that not all developers have access to a physical device, which is the Simulator comes in. The Simulator you usually gives a good idea of how your application will run on a physical device, and you can absolutely submit this application for review of the BlackBerry World. If problems arise, the BlackBerry World team will let you know of those that need to be corrected before the application can be approved for sale.

    This is true for WebWorks, Android, etc. The BlackBerry World team reviews your application and provide feedback if there are all the important issues which seem to be broken. If you have tested the application elsewhere however, generally you should not be from.

  • How to adapt the start screen on all webworks App blackberry blackberry devices?

    I'm working on blackberry webworks app targeting blackberry 7 & lower OS versions. I have a 360 x 480 pixels boot image that adapts perfectly to the BlackBerry curve Smartphone 9380. But the same splash image does not fit into other devices with different screen sizes. So, now I have created the home screen with a different resolution. But I don't know how to use it? Can someone like me how to select the splash screen dynamic based on the resolution of the device or other means to solve this problem?

    Unfortuantely on BBOS, you can have a single element of the rim: loadingScreen:
    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/BBOS/HTML5/documentation/rim_loadingscreen_element_834680_11.html

    Whereas the BB10, you can have several elements of the rim: splash that the device would automatically take the best resolution of.

    Because it is a property of config/xml, there is no way to dynamically assign values. You would need a separate for each loadingScreen dimensions version.

  • BlackBerry Webworks App does not work on the Simulator after conditioning

    Hi everyone, I ' ve developed a webworks app and everything works fine on the emulator ripple, but when I load it on the Blackberry (9860 and 9930) Simulator... it loads successfully (I can see the icon, etc.), but when I open it, appears only a WHITE SCREEN...!

    I thought it was my application, so I leave my fair "index.html" with a BLACK background (does not work)

    the Validation of my config.xml file is fine, and I have not any idea on how to solve this problem!

    Help please, thank you

    Hello, thanks for people, but I already solved this problem, I had a div with POSITION: FIXED; and apparently WebWorks does not support this CSS property, so I removed it and everything works fine. Thanks in any case. Concerning

  • [Deployment Webworks App device]

    Hi friends,

    I have developed webworks app and create a plugin private by QNX Momentics IDE.

    I could config to run application on Dev Alpha Simulator BB10_1_X.

    But when I deploy to device Z10 and executed, an error has occurred:

    Need of that error cannot find usr/lib/webplatform/plugins/jnext/lib*Jnext.so.

    Please help me. If you need more information, please comment here.

    Thank you very much.

    Dennis.

    Dear friends,

    Thanks for your help. I thank all. Through your help, I found a solution for this problem.

    The problem is related to ' dependency or link"*.so (shared objects) or the excutable in UNIX-Like file.» I think BB10 filesystem is SYSTEM-V, a type of UNIX systemfile.

    With Simulator to create a link to a libbrary EX: libbtapi, I said to "Simulator-Debug". But when I built for the camera, I don't, it's problem. Messade error that gave me BB10, it was bad message. I stated a dependant on "libbtapi" for "release device". Everything was OK.

    By the way.

    Thank you for all.

    Thank you.

    Dennis Ritchie.

  • WebWorks app no longer works after update of Dev Alpha

    So I tried to transfer my playbook to the BB DevAlpha application and it worked very well mostly on the alpha of dev, but since the update, I can't open up my application. It will open to a blank black screen just and do nothing at all. In closing, I get an error: "application does not handle the message 'Quit' and was slayed. It seems that the app is the gel, but it could also simply not start at all.

    Nothing appears in the web Inspector, so I think that it is not starting.

    The app was developed originally on the playbook in which she worked well, he also worked for the most part very well (with the exception of a question of content layout) on the BB Dev Alpha of the original OS. But after the update of the OS. It doesn't seem to work at all.

    So I am really confused as to why it suddenly stopped working.

    What is wrong with him?

    Read this:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/getting_started_with_bb10_ww_sdk_2007056_11.htm...

    For each web page in your application, you must include a script tag that links the webworks - version > .js file:

    You must copy the webworks - version > file .js in your application. Make sure that your application uses the version of this file that corresponds to the current version. You can find thewebworks - version > .js file in one of the following locations, depending on your platform:

    • Windows XP: C:\Program Search SDK WebWorks Motion\BlackBerry 10 version > \Framework\clientFiles
    • Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Research Motion\BlackBerry 10 Development Kit SDK WebWorks version > \Framework\clientFiles
    • Mac OS: Developer/SDK/Research In Motion / BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 10 version > / framework/clientFiles
