  First of all, you must completely remove Norton product you have because it has never protected anything whatsoever and has just been slowing down your Mac all those years.  Therefore, you will never miss it.

  Second, if you use a modern version of Mac OS, you wouldn't need any security software because Mac never received subsequently and still haven't.  Installation of security software 3rd party on a Mac is the potential to make your Mac less secure than it was without him.

  I think that the only way to change the text is (and has been) click on the text editing control in the controls in the effect (whether in the timeline panel or the effect controls panel).

  First, do some cleaning and analysis.  Then determine what you do/don't need.  Then more cleaning.

  Search for malware:

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Microsoft Paint is a free program which is included in all versions of Windows, it can be purchased separately.

  I understand your problem.

  Explanation: These "white spots" which appear at the end of a drawn line are called "handles" and they allow you to adjust the line after it is drawn. This is useful in case the line was not drawn straight or is to be moved. In the version of Windows 7 paint, there is not a way to remove these points, except to do what you have already described.

  Solution: There are a few users who have managed to replace the Windows 7 version of paint with an earlier version that does not display the handles.

  Note: Replacement of the system with an earlier version files are not supported by Microsoft.

  Drivers: you should know what you bought (in your machine) and what * you * want out of it.  If you want stability and things work properly - let alone the drivers.  If you want more performance check (and other games) in the drivers of motherboard chipset and video network from the manufacturers Web site... For more stability stick with the OEM website (HP, Dell, Lenovo - the assembler of the whole machine) and slightly more performance/push the limits (even if they want to work too - so still some stability) - access to websites of its components manufacturer.

  With regard to the programs: you can decide what you use and do not use.  If you are not sure, look it up (Google) or ask.
