What camcorder HD should I buy?

We want an HD camcorder to record a video for the practice of my wife.  She of a therapist working with children, aged 2-7 years old, who have special needs and wishes to record their progress during therapy sessions in the school environment (land, gymnasiums and classrooms) and her private practice.  In addition, it will use the video for presentations.  The video will be in one-on-one and group settings.  A camcorder that has a good audio recording capability would be useful.  The video will be edited with Keynote, iMovie and Final Cut.  We bought a new iMac with ios 10.8 all recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I am relatively new to this, but I did a lot of research and bought the Canon HFM50 camcorder.  The video quality is excellent.  I record music events so I wanted better audio so I bought a Canon DM100 microphone that rises to the top of the camera.  The sound is good now.  The software that comes with it is easy to use, and installation is easy.  If you want you can check out my videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/videosmarkg they were taken without the benefit of a tripod.

  • What iPod model should I buy? 32 or 64 GB worm.

I currently use the iPhone 4S for social things like calling my families and friends, chat etc. But my 16 GB version gets inflated until soon after that I put a bunch of music and downloaded a few apps and it is completely malnourished that make my hobby which is flows into the sewers.

So I thought I'd buy the iPod Touch 6th generation to play games, put my music and other photos and videos. I thought to buy the 64 GB version, but the 32 GB will be enough for my needs of daily game and music session. So I'll use it as a media player next to my iPhone 4S.

I hope that all who read this will address soon. Thank you.

The 32 GB should be fine. Movies take up a lot of storage so if you take to download or synchronize a large number of movies and then 64 GB would be desirable.

  • the upgrade, what that lens should I buy?

Photography started as a hobby for me, but now that I've built skills and experience I want to make a trade. The camera first, I bought was a Rebel T3, but I'm looking into upgrading to a Canon 5 d mark ii. I have 3 lenses - an EF 50 mm 1.4 and the EF 70-200mm kit EF-S 18-55mm kit. I really love with my 18-55mm, but I know I won't be able to use it on the camera full frame. What is a good full frame lens which is a bit like the 18-55mm. I do not have a budget and I love the canon EF 16-35mm, but it is much too expensive. I think about $500. Thank you!!

If you are looking to brand Canon lenses, there are four that come to mind, but two that you can be able to get something close to your price range.

The EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L is out of the range of $500 - it's probably not.

There are also new version EF 24-70mm f / 4 L - but even the version of f/4 is well out of the price range.

The EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM will be in the price range of $500 even if purchased as 'new '.  I haven't personally used this objective then you should check the comments.

However... the EF 24-105mm f / 4L IS USM is a goal that the 'new' retail price is outside your range, but you can often find deals on this goal... often just simply about $600 for a lens that is technically "used" but you can think of it as 'new '.

The 24-105mm is the included "kit" lens when someone wants to, say, a body kit + 5 d III objectives.  But when I bought my 5 d III, I was unable to find a retailer that had the "body only" version of the package.  The seller sold me camera is a 'body only' and removed the "kit" of the lens (so my package is for an objective body + kit) and then "put white in a box" the goal to be sold separately.  If you look at the prices for a 5 d III 'body only' compared to a kit 'body + lens', the price difference (the last time I checked... I don't happen to be looking right now) was only about $550.

So, there are many people who will sell this lens for about $600.

    Hi Sandy –

Wow! Sounds like a killer system! Here I had a. Ask any questions that you have. The Extender should work just fine. Ranging from USB to serial is mostly a question of adapting the wiring an Extender made for you. I fyou look around forums here you will see a test "computer laptop Forum" announced here when (not so) you have any other questions. Or, of course, in the article if software Windows 7 throws you a curve.

Just be SURE to test everything before going to anywhere where it is that you will... There is always the chance that you got the wrong Extender or the laptop itself needs a few adjustments. Much easier to take care of your living room around a fire somewhere!

  • What Macbook should I buy AutoCAD?

    Hello!

I just want to ask, what macbook should I buy AutoCAD? I plan to buy the Macbook Air w / core i5 but I saw in some discussions that it is not recommended for autocad... is this true?

BTW... I am a student in engineering, and I'll use it at school it's why I do not prefer the Macbook Pro because it's big, bulky and heavy. I want the Macbook Air because it's elegant, light and it fits into my bag. And also I need the cheapest possible that's why I prefer really the model of Air. (because I'm just a student and my savings from my job part-time is not big so my budget is tight and only around $ 400-600)

I need it after this break.

Thank you! Prospects for a helpful answer.

I'm not familiar with the application, but I suggest that you contact the school and get recommendations from them for minimum requirements as well as the developer of the software.

  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  • I want to burn files to a cd, there are two files, one is 8.1 GB and the other is 3.5 GB, what capacity of CD should I buy to take account of these files, or is there any method I can use?

I want to burn files to a cd, there are two files, one is 8.1 GB and the other is 3.5 GB, what capacity of CD should I buy to take account of these files, or is there any method I can use?

First of all, you cannot use a CD for each file - they do not provide enough space (and I'm pretty sure same compression help not enough).

You can burn the 3.5 GB on DVD or DVD-R DVD - RW file, as long as it's a guy with enough space http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD.

8.1 GB file CAN be turned into a DVD, but you need a very special type (and maybe special software - I'm not sure about this).  An article on the different types of DVDs and their abilities of here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD.

There are a few 3rd party software products that allow you to split a large file inot several pieces to fit on a game sequenced CD, but I couldn't find one that was free.  To do this, you can check on www.download.com, www.tucows.com, Bing, and Google.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • What should I buy instead of 5737 Inspiron?

    Hello!

I have worked for a time on Inspiron 5737, i7, full HD, 16 GB RAM, SSD, but couldn't find this laptop or this configuration more.

It was extermely fast and well designed (love the design in aluminium). New DELLs are more plastic and defective keyboards.

For example, I have also Inspiron 5547 and the touchpad there is a joke, the pointer is sometimes lag (he jumps and click randomly when the laptop is plugged into the charger), and sometimes the gestures do not work even if they are enabled.

Unfortunately I can't return it, the seller claims it works flawless, but it's not. I'll try again, because it's hilarious. I have also Inspiron 3737 and it works like a charm with no problems with the touchpad, or any other.

My questions: what should I buy instead of 5737 (because I can't buy it more)? If not, where can I buy a new 17R 5737 full HD with i7 or i5? Is there another, non-tout-plastic laptop DELL, the successor of 5737? Why this model was cancelled while it was perfect?

    Best regards

    BatSK8

Thank you for posting. For a 17 "system which is similar to the 5737 I suggest to take a look at the Inspiron 17 5758 , I think they make a better match for you.  Please let me know if you think that the 5758 will be a suitable model for you.

  • What should I buy? .......... Laptop Dell, PC or all-in-1.

My laptop current is 6 years old and I think it comes to DIE.  I think buying the new system for myself, but I'm still as disturbing as what to buy...

Should I buy a laptop (but I want to need more than 5 USB slots I have 3 external HDD & Scanner, printers)... I don't want to settle for USB hubs.  Should I buy a PC... but I know PC will disappear soon and also, I don't have a luxury to have the space to store Mini towers, I cannot get desktop LTS.  But I want to add USB3.0, but fear it would work... as SFF does not support have added additional stuff.

I need to buy everything-in1,... but I don't think not AIO are good, because they are still in the infant stage and in addition, if the screen breaks... the whole system doesn't help... really ugly in revaluations too.

So... what should I buy, I thought to get the years 620 desktop PC Inspiron, but also to make a Dell laptop instead.

What are your thoughts.  Thanks for sharing.

My standard recommendation to all my clients is to "buy your portfolio can stand" - not to skimp or buy the cheapest or lowest model equipped as you will eventually get more or improve.

If you do not want to make any upgrade or adding then a desktop computer is the only one to consider and a full size desk, not one of the "S" or compact models because they are very limited on the upgrade.  They do not use a standard power supply ATX type then you will be also limited here.  They can only use 'low profile' add on cards, but due to the limitation of power supply, there is also a severe limitation on scalability and upgrade cards.

Most of the laptops were not the number of desired USB ports.  On the Dell only that maybe that would be the high end Alienware models.

I don't like any in those or the touch screen or other models.  They are very limited in any update.

I did not really answer your question, but more food for thought.

  • I have photoshop element 11 and does not convert to CMYK. What should I buy to get the printable work?

I buy photoshop element 11 because it says on the box that we could print yourself or by professional but they the RGB is not good enough for their even if printers I optimizing it. I need to do a lot of design for print. What should I buy then?

At the time where ever we talk about several projects page, InDesign is what you really need. Illustrator certainly has the edge when it comes to exceptionally sophisticated vector operations, but really, it doesn't support features story layout and several pages in the way that InDesign.

Note, however, that Illustrator and InDesign are professional graphics programs top of range with fairly steep learning curves.
