What device is my node connected to (CLI)?

I am currently engaged in trying to find what my current node device is connected to and which interface of this device, I am connected to know

-I know not how to telnet (using putty)

-I can prompt CMD and ipconfig/all to get my information from devices (and default gateway)

-I understand ping/apr/cdp neighbors

However, using these tools, I can't quite seem to put togeather how to find the next immediate device and the port I am connected to without that direct switch IP address on site.

Make sure that the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) is enabled globally on the switch (run cdp) and on each port (cdp enable). These are the default settings, but may have been disabled for security reasons. Launch Wireshark, filter by cdp packet type and move from one port to the other. Give CDP packets you change your name, IP, IOS version management, and what port you are connected to (among others).

OT: What devices transmit Frame Relay and how Frame Relay link your computer to the internet provider server?

    Hello

Frame Relay is a standardized wide area network technology that specifies layers linking physical and logical channels of digital communications using a methodology of packet switching. Originally designed for transport in Integrated Services (ISDN) digital network infrastructure, it can be used today in the context of many other network interfaces.

Network providers commonly implement Frame Relay for voice (see) and data as encapsulation technique, used between local area networks (LAN) over a wide area network (WAN). Each end-user gets a private line (or leased line) to a frame relay node. The Frame Relay network handles the transmission on a frequently changing path transparent to all end-users.

    Hello Graboots,

Thank you for your message.  You can plug your printer on another computer, in order to exclude the possibility that the problem lies in the printer?  You can try using a different cable, for this rule as well.  Since it is a question of recognition, we remove the external devices before software troubleshooting.  Do you get anything when you plug the printer (ie. a tinkle of connection)?  Please let us know, we are looking forward to hear back on your part.

You have a problem with IP addresses:

Use * 192.168.2 for private, virtual, and scan?

Public, virtual and SCAN IPs must be the same private network is must be different.

He warns here, out of cluvfy:

The interfaces on the subnet "192.168.1.0" who are likely candidates for VIP are:
    eth0:192.168.1.111 RAC4
    RAC3 eth0:192.168.1.101

    CAUTION:
Could not find an appropriate interface for the private interconnection range

  • What is the cluster node and which is a member of the cluster?

What is the cluster node and which is a member of the cluster?
    How to differentiate them?

    I agree with you all.
But note that a node is a server JVM. A large number of nodes can co-locate in the same machine. Entire application process or the server that is running software consistency is called a cluster node.
But Member and the cluster node is different concepts. Consistency is logically divided into clusters, services and caches. A cluster of coherence is a group of cluster nodes that share a group address, allowing you to communicate, the cluster nodes. Generally, a cluster node will join only a single cluster, but it is possible for a cluster node to join (membership) several different groups, using a different group for each cluster address.

  • remote device does not accept connections is the error that I also get what is a proxy?

There are some sites that I can't connect to Internet, I get remote device will not accept the connection and check the proxy. I don't know how to solve this problem, I don't know what is a remote device, and I don't know if I have a proxy. Please help, I work on surveys and freelancing and you need to get to my sites. I thank very you much for any help you can give me.

This just sounds like your Internet is cut, not a Firefox problem.

But I'd still Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
