What do I need to run adsysapp2.sql in the database of R12?

Hi, experts:

I'm migrating a 11.2.0.3 R12 database of HP following Linux notes 741818.1. I work on the step 8. Establish the diagram of the SYSTEM. After execution of the

script ausy1120.sql, I saw that a command in the log file says "You must run adsysapp.sql to create packages of Oracle Applications in the scheme of the SYSTEM.". What do I need to run this? It is not said in the note. At this point I just create a database structure. No given no request.

Thanks and regards.

Thank you so much, Hussein.

CC cloud offer free space 2 GB, but if you bought the subscription for one of the CC app you'll get 20 GB space cloud until you have the subscription.

So, if you need more creative space Cloud you must subscribe.

All the new iPad will run iOS 9 now. It would take a 16 GB iPad. I have 425 songs on my iPad, and they represent 1.8 GB of storage. But... You cannot add storage to an iPad, then you may want to consider eating less up to 32 GB. You never know what you could want on the road.

  • Need help to record execution time of SQL in the database

    Hello
I have an interesting thing that I am tiring to do. I want to record how much time (wall clock) it took the database to execute a select statement against a particular view lets call it CUST_ORDERS_V.

I want to check which ran, what the select statement (SQL text) and how long it took and perhaps a few other auxiliary things if possible.

Research in most of my needs me to right audit Oracle and the SYS. AUD $ table. After you set up auditing with:
    audit_trail=db,extended

    and

    audit select on ME.CUST_ORDERS_V by access;
I get every piece of information that I need, except for the time of execution. Wow that would be awesome if Oracle who recorded! So I thought that if I could. I was considering a trigger on SYS. AUD$ (I know bad thoughts) which would look at some reviews of $ V and get the runtime and write this in other tables custom with a link back to SYS. AUD$.

Maybe this is the complete wrong way to do it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on that.

I'm running on 11.2.0.3 EA. I'm on EA if I use Fine grain audit if necessary. However I DO NOT have the Tuning or Pack diagnosis.

It's a call center and people on phones have learned that they can blame the database for their lack of productivity. Knowing the TSMITH selected in the 210 view times in his shift and the DB responded within the "Acceptable" range 99.5% of the time would be invaluable.

If you're running at three levels (and this seems very likely) then your intermediate level probably has a record feature which can be enabled via a change of a line in a configuration file so that it will write a log record in a flat file for each call to the database with information such as : (source, time, start sql statement, return time). It is probably a better place to find a solution to your problem.

    Hi Valerie,

Without focus on the specific version of SQL Developer or your type of operating system and version, here are some points to consider:

1 - Compile with debug information:
Compile with Tools|Preferences|Database|PL/SQL Compiler Optimization level set to 1 or 2, or
         Compile for Debug
2 - Make sure you have set at least one breakpoint and that it is on a executable line of code

Hi How can I re - write it in the database with a goal to use this application java adf

It's shape when next object triggers I have what it takes to call it from java applications how can I re - write it in the database

the goal is to do something like this Blog of Zeeshan Baig: the PL/SQL procedure call and function in the Oracle ADF application

The example uses several: block.field references, you will likely spend as IN OUT parameters. The 'message' + form_trigger_failure construction will have to be retransmitted, perhaps as a normal using raise_application_error() exception, but I don't know how he handles your Java environment. (He might have to analyze the exception and pull on the top-level message, depending on the amount of information you want to expose to your users.)

(While you are wearing it to Java, you may fix the double full stop in the error message. I bet that that has been tapped some poor end user since 1997)

Helps you try if this the CLI SQL query execution, it must list all DN with CFA allowed the VM or a DN:

run sql select dnorpattern, cfadestination, cfavoicemailenabled CallForwardDynamic c, numplan n where c.fknumplan = n.pkid and (cfadestination! = "or cfavoicemailenabled 't =')

    Hi Amanda

Basically, this is standard SQL, so that he would not bad at google 'informix instructions' select and do a bit of reading to get the basics. There are millions of permutations of requests so it comes to understand the syntax and then only by applying to the database in question. The only difference when running the commands in the CLI are:

-Precede you the standard informix with "execute sql" SQL statement

-You get no help from CUCM with syntax, so you might be well advised to use something which includes SQL a bit and he colorized you type, and then paste the commands resulting in the CUCM SSH window. I use an editor called JEdit, if you create a text file and save it as a file ending with .sql, it will highlight your syntax.

-Other programs are available that make reasonable syntactic (EQ SquirrelSQL) that are designed to query the DB directly, but you can't really query directly against the DB for security reasons. You will still need to copy and paste commands.

Now... to understand the DB you will need a reference describing all the tables, etc.. Here it is:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/SW/voicesw/ps556/products_programming_reference_guides_list.html

Choose your version of CUCM and download the document 'data definition '.

    Some notes on the order:

run sql: is just the CLI command which tells the shell to perform the following as SQL.

Select: the SQL command to recover data

dnorpattern, cfadestination, cfavoicemailenabled: column names to retrieve

callforwarddynamic c, numplan n: the names of the two tables and abbreviations that you want to refer to them as

where c.fknumplan = n.pkid: This tells SQL to return values in the two tables where these fields match. In the data definition, you will see notes that c.fknumplan (i.e. the column fknumplan in table callforwarddynamic, as indicated by the prefix c.) refers to the PKID column in the area of the numplan. It is a type of join in the very standard DB CCM.

and ("cfadestination! =" or cfavoicemailenabled = "t"): another clause, fundamentally in this application that we want to see only the rows where cfadestination is not empty or cfavoicefmailenabled has the value 't' for real).

Most of the tables are related in two ways in this database:

-a column "fk" prefix refers to the field of pkid (there is always only one field per table pkid) in the table following the prefix "fk". For example above fknumplan refers to the numplan, pkid field table. fkdevice refers to the machine table, pkid field.

-a prefiex of 'traditional knowledge' column usually refers to a table enum which is preceded by 'type '. It is a table that maps the numerical value in the field of 'traditional knowledge' into a string. An example would be tkmodel - it is the type of physical phone (e.g. as 7962) and mapped as the column and a table called typemodel model 'enum' in the table.

  • should we run catbundle.sql after creation of DB?

Hello, I have installed oracle 11.1.0.7 and installed the patch (10249534) CPU 2011.

I intend to create the database after a few weeks. So after you have created the database, should I run the scripts below?
Given that this is part of remedial education.

    * 3.2.2.1 loading modified the SQL files in the database *.
The steps following loading changed files SQL in the database. For a CCR environment, perform these steps on one node.

For each instance of database running on the Oracle home being patched, to connect to the database using SQL 'More'. Connect as SYSDBA and run the script catbundle.sql as follows: *.

    CD $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
    sqlplus/nolog
SQL > CONNECT / AS SYSDBA
    SQL > STARTUP
    SQL > @catbundle.sql cpu apply
    SQL > QUIT
Execution of catbundle.sql is reflected in the sight of dba_registry_history by a related line of series CPU bundle.

    Hello!

You must run the catbundle.sql only for databases created before the application of the CPU.
If you create a new database after the application of the CPU on the ORACLE_HOME, you don't need the script to run catbundle on it.

How can I create thid BD if I want the same, as it is in the dmp file?

    Thanks for the replies.

    Hi all

As the paths are different and you did export using utility datapump

During the import, you want your data files on different paths...

Thus, you should use Remap_datafile for sure and (if necessary) Remap_tablespace

And just to clarify my and other previous posts... you do NOT get to a command prompt and start your receiver from sqlplus.  sqlplus is a command-line that connects to a database and provides a user interface to the question of the sql to the database statements.  lsncrctl is another command line utility, used to send commands to the listener.  lsnrctl and sqlplus are two completely separate and distinct, all tools two started from the command line of the operating system, that have nothing to do with the other.  Neither one is a kind of 'gateway' to the other.
