What does '... argument ' average in the arguments of a function

So can someone explain this?

So far, I have seen no document on this subject. I don't know how to use it, but I would like to know what it means and.

Things like these makes the flash/flex/as learning reylly hard when there is no documentation.

If you define a function, you can add... .args as argument, which means that the function can receive an array of multiple arguments. This is useful if you don't know in advance of the arguments how your function will receive.

An example:

public void sum(...args):Number

{

var s:Number = 0;

for each (var n: Number in args)

{

s += n;

}

return s;

}

  • What does not restart in the FFT functions way?

    Hi all

    I would like to know what that "restart average" made for the FFT functions. According to aid,"reboot on average indicates if the VI restarts the process chosen medium." If restart on average is set to TRUE, the restart of the VI the selected with an average of process. If reboot on average is set to FALSE, the VI does not restart the process chosen sprawl. The default value is FALSE. When you call this VI for the first time, the averaging process restarts automatically. A typical case when you need to reboot on average is when a major change of entry occurs in the middle of the averaging process"

    I realized that the FFT function takes in an array of values and perform the FFT on it. If the FFT function keep a buffer previous values and clears when restart average = true? Because the FFT functions are not Point by point and they take both in all the data to deal with, "a major change of entry occurs in the middle of the averaging process" can be true?

    Thank you!

    Sigh.  I really tried to explain what was going on (probably) with this function, you use (and, I thought naively, you understand), but you got me wrong.

    This VI creates a zero average noise signal, providing 1024 points per second.  Do you know what should be the power spectrum of the signal?  Due to the randomness of the input signal, the power (for a small finished sample) spectrum will also have a random component.  If you had several ghosts of power on average, the average would begin to converge with the expected for random noise power spectrum.

    If you run this VI and look at the Spectra resulting (on average), you will notice that the first spectrum is the most "spice" and that spectra are averaged, the variation is reduced and diminishes the value of crete (shown by looking at the scale of Amplitude).  At any time, you can press "Reset average" and see this... reset the average, the following spectrum shows the growing nose, etc.

    It shows the right way to test the function of the power spectrum and discover what he does. My suggestion as to what makes this function seems to be largely correct.

    This feature was not available in Windows XP, its designed for protection, you must explicitly enable it to make changes (add entries), otherwise the program will not install correctly.

    When you install a program, it updates (written) entered in the win7 registry and installs the files (written) at various points in the victory.

    By installing a program you "asked" so that it can be installed, if you see this warning when you do not install a program, then you know that you should be wary of what you did to trigger such a warning

  • What does "unable to load the filter AE, LBDC Gaussian blur" means?

    I opened an old video composed of a number of nested 1-7 years on CS5 videos. Everytime I open it I get a warning that it cannot load a filter ' AE, LBDC Gaussian blur. A few seeds of clips having Gaussian blur in them (even if it's hard to say because the blur is very low in these clips), other older do not have. I added the 'new' Gaussian blur to the clip that seemed to miss it, but the remains of warning when opening the file. What does that mean? Also, is there a quick way to repair old files with Gaussian blur?

    This is one of the reasons why it is generally suggested to complete your projects in the version that you started with and ongoing projects not upgrade to a new version. Now, you need to find the manually each instance of the blur effect and replace it with a new blur effect. It's your choice.

    2. The media in the drive is not compatible with the firmware of the drive. [Go to the decision-makers in car's web site and see if there is a firmware update for the drive - or - if a burning operation, try different media].

  • What does Time Machine to the top of the address book?

    I use OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) and AddressBook application.

    I created a bunch of groups in the address book and must have one accidentally deleted because he disappeared. I use Time Machine and it seems to be compatible with the address book, so I thought I could just go back to an older version, but I can't seem to make it work.

    If I enter Time Machine from the address book application, I see the old backups to return indefinitely. I have chosen one a week ago and restored, but I don't see the old group. In fact, there are always new groups that I just created today.

    So I did not understand what actually have backed up by Time Machine. Is this just backup contact records, but not groups?

    When I restore, it restores the entire database or just a folder that I'm looking?

    Thanks in advance for any suggestion or advice!

  • What does previous periods in the graphics of all parameters?

    bhmdvexcmbp4 snap.png

    Hello

    My question is about the graphical metrics tab all settings. I'd like to see

    Active memory graph of comments for the last 30 days. And I get the graphics.

    Problem here, what previous times?

    vCOps Gets the values of intervals of five minutes as I know.

    I think that the previous period 1 gets values such as 10:00, 10:05 and 10:10 time etc.

    Period previous 2 gets values 10:01, 10:06 and 10:11 etc. Am I wrong?

    Thank you for your help.

    No, this isn't what you think it is-

    'Previous' is the period * before * the selected, of the same length.

    "for example, in your case-"last 30 days", the previous_period_1 is ' 30 days before these last 30 days.

    -> You can guess what "previous periode2' is

    enother example:
    If you searching for 1 days, 'previous period.1' is the day which immediately precedes the (adjacent), and 'previous periode2' is one more day in the past
