What File Format works best in first?

I'm new to first and am try it to see if this is the best tool to edit my old VOB files copied down a DVD of a couple of years. I tried to convert them into MPEG4 but deteriorates the quality of playback. I can load the VOB files directly, but there is a problem of defined quality deterioration.

Should I first convert the file to something else? Say AVI?

Thank you very much

As has been mentioned, the MPEG-2 DVD, wrapped in the VOB files ' containers, have already been highly compressed. " It is the nature of a DVD-video. Nothing can be done to cancel this compression and return all quality.

Pre allow you to import the VOB,* files and edit them natively. However, if you then / share export in a compressed format, say on a DVD-Video edition, then there will be additional compression and a loss of data.

Good luck

Hunt

* Pre will import and edit the VOB, 100% compatible DVD. However, if they are NOT 100% compatible DVD, then the only recourse is to rip/convert DVD MPEG-2 files in the VOB import and edit. In this case, I recommend you files DV - AVI Type II w / 16-bit 48 kHz PCM/WAV Audio, using the DV/DVC CODEC of Ms.

Unfortunately, most DVR machines and a lot of DVD-Video authoring software, do NOT produce 100% of DVD compatible files and usually the first VOB (contains the Menus and navigation, as well as the first part of the file DVD MPEG-2, which may extend over several VOB) will NOT import correctly, while the second, which is more usually works perfectly. It could be that you'll only have to rip/convert the VOB first, but some software was simply a bad creative work, so he'd have to rip/convert VOB all.

  • What file format is the best provide a general customer

I shoot most of Nikon RAW files and perform a typical treatment post and finally send to Zenfolio (via Lightroom) for my client to download.

I want to give them the highest resolution file on a disk so that they can store in it archives for future needs. What is the best format. Convert RAW to TIFF, PSD or DNG. Most of my clients have Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional editing software. I want that they have the top of the ground in the future when I retired (haha) they can do, or have a service, any enlargement of the size, make the additional manulipition and so on.

    Thanks for the help.

TIFF is the best file format to deliver to your customers to print and especially if you don't know what software they use and that you will not change.

TIFF is very common and Mac/PC friendly.  If your needs are archival, print quality high resolution, and be able to open on almost all software, that's what you want.

If transparency is important, you have support in his favor as well.

First save a copy without layers, they won't need them. They would expect the Alpha channels, if you include those.

If your file > save under looks like this:

Then your Tiff settings should be set to this:

  • Scan of a file only works on the first line

    Hello

I'm new to Labview (see 8.6) and I'm running on this problem.

I use the Scan of a file to get a certain amount of information for the installation of test.txt.  The data of the file looks like this:

    AAA 1

    BBB 2

    REC 3

I noticed that the Scan of the file works for only the first line.  Trying to get data that are not in the first line results in an error 85.

    Any ideas? Thank you

It's all in what the scan of the file reads, and what is the next cgaracter in the file.

Your first analysis of the file reads up to but NOT including the first newline in the file.

The second read readings where the first reading was arrested and is expected to see 'B' as the next character, but sees the new line instead, and if the analysis fails. You must specify second reading formatted to await the return line.

You can do this by making the FIRST character of the format string space, that will tell it to expect a number any of charaters 'white space '.

Yo can indeed put a space at the beginning of the format string in your first analysis of the file and it will match with zero white space characters before you see the AAA. By doing this he also tolerate to see the spaces and tabs before your AAA or BBB identifiers.

There is the obviously supported, such as JPEG, PNG, and PSD (which, at that time, flattens when imported, note PS touch copy that the imported image, it does not change to the original image). PSDX is the native format PS Touch own. RAW is not supported at this time. I have not tried the other file formats (yet).

  • What file format can I convert AVCHD to for first?

With the help of Aunsoft MTS Converter to convert my AVCHD files but have NO IDEA where to start with the selection of a format. There are some parameters of the first, but there are options (quality, medium, high, etc.) and a few others. (Like Aunsoft so I can create a file among many others.)

I am shooting in 1080 p 30 and just development of the training videos, so this isn't the stuff of Hollywood. Just try to get a nice HD, easy to change and easy to convert format.

Can anyone recommend a default basic formula? Would be very happy!

And you want to convert it why? First can edit AVCHD directly. Copy the entire contents of the SD card directly to the hard drive, then first, import using the functionality of the media browser, works like a charm. • Should what file format I use if they cannot read the H264?

I pulled out my final AE animations with the Animation codec for editing.

When I create a version of an animation for the customer to review, I use the H264 codec. It looks good, and the file size is reasonable.

But what do I do if the client is unable to play videos with the H264 codec? It appears with older computers, even if they have Quicktime 7 or higher.

(Note - the Mac I bought last August does Sorenson 3 on this subject.) I don't know how to get a return.)

    Best,

    Mike

H.264 should play in QT7, so it's strange, but you could use MPEG4 to work around the problem - it is pretty universally accepted on Windows and Mac.

If you open Quicktime Preferences there is an option to enable the codecs - that should bring back Sorenson 3.

  • What you find works best to get the webinar recorded?

    Hi all

New to this forum and Eloqua. About to create my first campaign around a webinar and just wanted to hear some thoughts on the webinars.

    (1) do you find creating a webinar series or individual Webinars is best to get people to register for these events? I'm new on my role and my former company, we organized the different series with positive results but in my new business, it seems that each webinar is on a new topic, without brand.

    (2) what do you find is a good webinar invitation? How many times should you put register now? You make ball a list of what the registrant will be able to remove this event? Is it a good idea to have two columns? Any idea is appreciated!

    (3) are there post-event survey questions you will find are indicators of great lead?

    (4) what are some interesting tactics that you used to generate additional leads from webinars? For example, I tried to put a matter of voting, in an email reminder and based on their answer, he took them to a different landing page. Other neat ideas?

I hope to learn a lot from this community! Impatient for there

My theory is that if a person didn't open or click on your first two invitations, then they are not interested. However, if they did open or click either of the initial prompt, but for some reason any, that they are not, I tell myself that it is low hanging fruit. We used a different approach with this email last attempt the first two invitations - it was a text e-mail sent by a person. We have seen a slight increase in the records. Sounds like it could be a good test!

  • What file format to save as in Illustrator?

    Hey guys,.

Rather new player to the game Illustrator here so be nice. I designed a simple logo for friend in Illustrator CS5 and I'm confused as to what types of files should I send him to the final design. The intention is to use the logo as a signature at the bottom of the email and some web use possible. The logo will also be sent to print in some cases, but only after my friend brought to scale it, what type of file will allow you to my friend across the logo without losing printing quality?

    Thanks in advance.

For the web, send PNG. If your friend knows how to use it, you can also try SVG.

To print send some vector, as format I, PDF or EPS (lowest common denominator). Favorite PDF. But you must make sure that your friend is using an application that maintains the vector as a vector and does not rasterize it.

  • What mobile apps work best on?

I'm looking into buying a tablet that works well with mobile applications adobe for on the road editing. I was wondering if it made more sense to buy an iPad Pro, or a Pro 4 of Microsoft Surface? I'm leaning toward the Microsoft device, however, I'm not 100% positive that these applications are available on other operating systems that aren't iOS or Android. In addition to this, I'm not sure if Adobe would record the Microsoft product like a laptop, causing problems if I buy one that has less than 8 GB of RAM.
