  Since you have Audition 2.0, you can download an update of Audition 3 free of charge.  First of all, visit download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products and click on English , then locate Audition 3.0 in the list.  Click the link for the ADBEAudition_ESD1_WWEFGJIS.exe file and use the serial number appearing next to which are connected during installation.  Then you should be able to continue the cleaning of your recordings.

  I see you have a few questions with temperatures. I'll try to answer for you.
  
  If at any time you worry about temperature, it never hurts to clean the laptop. This does not mean extraction it leaves again heat etc... Just a nice spray with little around the vents and fans canned air is usually more then enough to help lower time.

  after effects are currently being redone to make it multithreaded. so currently the 6700 k is the fastest, but who will eventually change, and some people use earlier versions of AE for better performance with County Senior core cpu machines.

  for premiere pro, the 6 cpu core is core entry level 4 k, 8 or 10, it's better when the budget allows. I'm not familiar with prices AUD, but looks like it's a good deal. Looks like you still need several parts besides than the gpu to complete construction, unless you already have them, or that they were not in the list. so you should have know if you can complete the build and stay within your budget.

  What gpu you need will depend a lot on how much gpu accelerated fx and the functions that you plan on using. If you can find a gtx used 780, 780ti, 970 or 980 for a good price, they can work very well. If you had one of those (or something more slow) and had poor reading performance, you can still be fine by changing resolution of reading to 1/2 or 1/4 for smoother playback. If you want something more durable, the gtx 1000 series has some features of hdr k 4.

  There is no office gtx 800 series. the closest thing was the the ti gtx 750 and 750. Pudget article shows the gtx 780ti running slightly faster than the 980 with first. the 900 series had a lot of changes that have been for games.

  My USB transfer rates are MUCH faster than them - saved file (WAV), which took about an hour and a half to transfer on the Dell, Dell will transfer in maybe six or eight minutes on this new machine.

  However, I still get a small fraction of what I think I should get - I didn't record the numbers (they vary somewhat from run to run) but I don't think I've EVER received anything faster than 2 megabytes per second when copying the Sansa to the computer.
