  Don't worry about this. Its common practice on Microsoft community sites. When they (the community stars et al.) do not have the answer that they just put you in a loop or give you a dangling carrot. Hardly, I get a useful response on this community. I've seen several excellent questions and comments; ideas, questions, bugs etc on the Microsoft Windows Live (and other products) community that is never resolved because there is no way to track.   Like other communities (Stackoverflow, etc.), I wonder why cannot they just silently to transfer the question to the other tag with a brief notification, rather than for posting such a useless response, wasting space and make this boring community even more boring?

  Looks like Microsoft have outsourced Microsoft community, MSDN and Microsoft Connect social forums for customer support to some third parties to copy - paste ready-made answers. You produce a report bug legitimate about Internet Explorer on-site MSFT connect with the stages of reproduction, attach files and other details, chances are that they will close the issue as not reproducible. In my observation, barely 20% of bug reports get status resolved between 70% of the time that the bug is not actually fixed and make people crazy in the comments! For how many people will give them feedback in these circumstances?

  Therefore, Microsoft "caring" about their products (and even less to worry 'people')... Or maybe it's just because Windows Live and Internet Explorer are free products...

  If the mail is just text, it passes generally through. A small accessory (60KO ' ish) sometimes sends. A greater attachment always generates the error message

  I disabled the scan to email from my AV, both for incoming & outgoing messages. It is AVG Free Edition, Ver.8.0.169.

  My ISP tech support says that my setup is correct; that the problem must be a bug in my email client... "call", they say... It was at their suggestion I went from WM to WLM. The problems all seem to have begun when the IAF spent my connection DSL of the CAPM method (using a Cisco 675 modem) mode DMT (with a Westell 6100 modem). (does anyone know what I just said, there?...) I don't have!)

  What WLM version do you use?  I think the latest version is Version 2009 (Build 14.0. 8009 7. 26)

  Windows Live Messenger will appear in programs and features in Windows Live Essentials, you click on it and follow the instructions in the wizard.

  If that's the problem with just your user login then that may need to be set at the end of the Server supported by WLM, or you can create a new Net Passport for yourself.
