What is Apple pay

I have asked if I knew what insurance pays Apple and have no idea what it is can someone help me with this?

Hello

Apple Pay is a means of payment, not an insurance product. You can learn more about Apple pay here:

http://www.Apple.com/Apple-pay/

You can rather refer to AppleCare or AppleCare +, which offer benefits, including the extended warranty of support and technical equipment. You can read more about it here:

What Prepaid cards made pay Apple suppor?

    Hello

Some cards of some issuers are supported. In the United States, for example, these are currently the Chase Liquid® prepaid card and prepaid cards for Wells Fargo.

To use Apple pay, your card must be a 'card support' from a participating provider. However, not all the cards that are issued by a given participating bank are necessarily supported for use with Apple pay.

To find out if any particular prepaid card is supported to pay Apple, you can:

-Contact the card issuer / bank or visit their Web site.

-Try to add the card (you will be notified if it cannot be added).

I like to try to ask to pay but seems no easy way to know which store accepts it. I have asked several times at different stores, not noticing no sign Apple pay, and they said that they do not use.  I found an application that shows the stores that accept Apple pay but simply not so convenient to go through several steps to find the store.  Want that apple will have an update to send auto reviews on iPhone or Apple Watch once inside or near the point of sale, agreeing to pay Apple. As with Starbuck, once you are near a store of Starbuck, he sends a message to the iPhone.

    Hello

You can use Apple pay to pay in stores that accept contactless payments.

Search for one of the following symbols to the Fund - or in the Maps app on your iPhone:

Some stores may show a symbol on their readers of cards and the sale of point-of-sale devices, but not perhaps not currently set up to agree to pay Apple or other contactless payments. In the United States, it consists of 7-Eleven, Home Depot, CVS and Jack in the box.

  • Apple pays fingerprinting

New to the iPhone and the 6s.  I have "ve put in place ApplePay and everything speaks to pay using your finger/thumbprint.   I put in place a code 6 digit to access the ApplePay/Wallet (even to try to understand both), but can I pay with it using the 6-digit code or what I have to do something with a fingerprint?

Also... we will fly on Delta in a week and he says that I can use for my boarding card.  How can I get a boarding card in the wallet to use it to get on the plane?

Thanks... any help would be appreciated

With the iPhone 6 s, you have the option to set up a fingerprint to unlock your device and also for the use of Apple pay. This support document explains Setup Touch ID with your fingerprint. You can configure several fingerprints. Use touch on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support ID  I can't find any information on the use of your password to pay Apple. You can see this support document for more information on configuring Apple pay.  Set up Apple pay on your iPad, iPhone, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

With respect to the boarding, you get information in an e-mail message from Delta, and it will contain information about the addition of the collar to your wallet. You can also get the application of Delta in the App Store and get information from who. I've used this with Delta several times, and it works fine. You just the display on the screen pass and put on the drive. Very nice.

  • Why stock PIN request when you use Apple pay?

I use iPhone 6 with 64 GB, with 27.8 MB of available space, with iOS 9.3.2

I was happy until today to be able to use Apple pay Walgreen pharmacies.

Today Apple pay (or something) forced me to enter my pin code of the debit card, I've always used.

What has caused this?  It does not match my original understanding of the purpose of Apple pay ("just touch and go.")

I read article Apple support that it CAN happen, but it has never before.

Walgreen has changed something on Apple payroll process?  Walgreen, which would explain?

My Bank has changed something?  That would explain my Bank?

Apple changed something?  Apple which would explain?

How does the consumer learn this info?   I don't have the time to study with three different companies, nor devrais I must.

Am I unreasonable?  Could someone explain to me how?

    Hello

When making a payment in a shop in the United States with your debit via Apple card pay, you may be prompted to choose credit or debit on the terminal.

If so, Apple recommends you always choose credit (even if the chosen card is a debit card).

Choose the debit may not always work successfully with a few old merchant payment terminals and back-end systems.

  • can I use apple pay in London

can I use apple pay in London

    Hello

Generally, you should be able to do it (with your map United States-published), but it may be prudent to check with your bank before traveling. (Another user recently reported that a card account does not work on the London underground, but by selecting another fact).

Other points to keep in mind:

    • Typical (maximum) transaction for contactless payments limit (including Apple pay) at retailers in Britain is currently £30.
    • Inform the issuer of your card to your travel plans. Your account may be otherwise limited and transactions denied when you try to use it in the United Kingdom (both when using the card directly and what assistance via Apple pay).
    • Pay using your card in the United Kingdom via Apple account will result in still fresh (charged by your bank / issuer) that would apply if you were instead using the card directly. For example: If your bank normally responsible for the charges on transactions overseas, will continue to apply if you pay via Apple pay. Fees may vary by issuer as well as by credit card.
  • Costco credit card fall Apple pay - Citibank Business

On 20 June, Costco evolves Citibank Amex credit cards. If you have business Costco members, you must have a business card. It was very good with Amex since Apple support cards pay. Citibank allows no however any credit card business work with Apple pay and after several weeks of calls, I find that they have no intention to fix it. After 3 weeks of calls to Costco and Citibank, here's the deal: If you have a credit card business Costco you must cancel the new card when it arrives, go to Costco to cancel your membership and sign up for a NEW personal membership, then APPLY for a new card Citi personal!

Anyone affected by this should call Costco and Citi (use the Costco # 800 to join Citi) and let them know that they should:

1 Citi should support Apple pays for all cards. But for now:

2-Citi should allow you to apply for a personal card, even if you have a Costco membership business.

Also: Personal Amex and business cards support notifications Apple pay. Purchases appear on the iPhone and watch seconds them later. Citibank does not support notifications and from what I've heard don't know what they are!

    Good to know Info!

  • How to call apple pay?

How to raise apple pay? In the settings it says that you can mention Apple pay on a lock screen by pressing the home button twice.  It does work on my iPhone 6plus even though I have this feature enabled in the settings. I use contact ID. Could only be messy it upward?

In fact, I have all sorts of problems with Apple pay. It is usually when I draw my iPhone from my pants pocket - unless I want it. I stood at the checkout trying to make it appear at Whole Foods more times that I recall and embarrassed when he never does.  How you would evoke it when you need?  I only get it when I don't need. Very frustrating and not easy to use for what could be a great app if it was a bit more cooperative.

    Steve Garman wrote:

Yes, it's how you do it. You can also call it by pressing the phone to the Terminal. If this does not work on your phone, have what troubleshooting steps you taken? If you have restarted? Forced to restart holding the home and power until the Apple appears? Restored back to the top? Restored like new?

    Why should you be embarrassed?

  • Apple pay & Rewards cards

We are supposed to be able to add Rewards cards to pay Apple, but what rewards cards, exactly, are eligible? Should there be a real payment method that has some sort of rewards and benefits associated with it? Or can I use a stand-alone rewards card, i.e. the cashier scans and a discount is applied to your purchase? I am trying to add the latter, without success. Using the method of the camera, it is not accepted even when the map is centered in the viewfinder, and using the manual method to enter the card number, it says that the card is not a transmitter that supports Apple pay. In the list of supported cards, it shows that the real banks, not a single merchant with a rewards program.

    Interesting...

I get a Citi > Cash Back > reward card > credit card > Visa every year since my electric service company - SHORT expiration (6 months from the receipt)

It seems to me that 'debit card' is the classification of the device (maybe?)

    EDIT added

The thru Visa Citi are printed on the front of the card

  • Replacement card Apple pays

When my card registered with Apple pay is renewed due to the expiration date can I re-enroll this card or will it always work?

    Hi Richard

You will need to check with your bank.

Some card issuers can automatically associate your new card with the current number of account of the device (created when your original card has been added to your device), replacing the old card. This leaves you free to continue to use the same card via Apple account pay without having to do anything yourself.

Other issuers may ask you to remove your old card Apple pay and add the replacement as a new card.

Before you do anything, you should check with your card issuer to find out what process they use, and whether you need to take action. Depending on your bank, this information may also be available through their Web site.

  • 9.2.1 and Apple pay

Updated my 6s in 9.2.1 this morning.  Later in the day, I tried to use Apple pay to a place where he had previously worked at Marvel (Walgreens), and the loyalty and credit card failed.  After that, I have it turned off and restarted... but also noticed that portfolio was not switched "on" in the iCloud settings.  I don't remember light, which was part of the initial installation... need for Apple pay work? (Have not been able to find anything dealing specifically with that).  If it was before, then the update apparently drop it.  If it should not be on, what is causing the problem?  Will try again, but it's far from ideal to be futzing autour when there are people online.

Nope.  He didn't turn to me (I have updated to iOS 9.2.1 yesterday and used pay Apple successfully today).

Also check settings > Wallet & Apple pays and make sure the settings to make sense.
