• CS4 watch disappeared to the image in the monitor compared to what LR & bridge shows.

  I called Canon RAW with LR 2.3 files, generate jpeg files and view these Jpeg files in Bridge CS4.  LR and bridge shows brilliant colors, but when I open the same files in Photoshop CS4. the looks of faded images.  Of course, I find the images on the same screen and even put them side by side.  This is the first time I met this situation.  I printed a few images and they are very close to what watch LR and bridge.  LR and PS have Adobe 1998 color space. I've attached a screenshot of the same file side by side. First in LR, then bridge and last Psalm files although prints with very good colors as seen in LR or Bridge, it is disturbing to see images faded in PS, especially when the images will be part of a composite or a page layout.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. More info: Canon 40 d, iMac 24 inch LR 2.3, CS4 V11.01,.

  My guess is that PS color managememnt is configured incorrectly. For example, it can be set to ignore the profiles embedded in images or the "Desaturate color monitor had checked by accident." Look at the screenshot attached and we say how is that different from your establishment (with the exception of working RGB space).

  

  Also, make sure that the Soft Proofing is not enabled in PS.

• Re a WRT1900AC - should I use a bridge or Repeater

  I live in a level two levels house with all equipment of networking on the lower floor. This includes the cable modem, my WRT1900AC router, switch to WRT-8, NAS, UPS, printers, etc. Most of the "living" occurs in the upper floors, however. I would like to improve the 1900 2.4 and the floor of the 5HGz signals as much as possible. I moved the 1900, much as I reasonably can, but I think that installing 1900 another upstairs would be the best way to go. I have a few questions about this:

  1. use the 2nd 1900 as a Repeater or a bridge? I assume that the former.

  2 should I connect the 2 1900? If so, I need to plan where to drill a hole access ethernet cable, as I don't have easy access to the ceiling.

  3. I know I'm going to take a bit of a performance hit in a Repeater configuration, but what a bridge configuration?

  4. I would like to use the 2.4 & 5 on each floor. Can I expect this?

  any help on the above would be appreciated. I put this offshore for much too long (especially because of the scope of ethernet cable drilling and placement), but I would now like to proceed to the improvement

  You can check in maybe a real wireless extension, or if you want to try to place an AP wired into the room, or the other level, you can check in a devcies PowerLine that can use power lines as your interconnection of the floor at the bottom of the stairs, then place an access point wired on one of these units of PL.

• Photoshop CS6 & Bridge or Lightroom 5/6?

  OK this may look like something stupid to ask, but I already have Photoshop CS6 (which I am trying to teach myself that I don't photograph ocassion - mainly travel photography, and I don't do that professionally - just as a hobby).  But when it comes to the Organization and touch-up/post processing images, y at - it no advantage to Lightroom 5 or 6 on Photoshop and Bridge (Yes, I still use CS6, have not made the leap to CC right now)?  Is Lightroom easier to learn (for beginning photo editors) than Photoshop.  I basically need the ability to attach photographs and crop, and from what I can see if close in my learning of the PS, it's a massive, powerful, program that can be intimidating for new users.

  Ideas or opinions?  I don't mind the extra $150 cost if it makes my life a lot easier to deal with the PS and the bridge (I PS to work, so he's not going to lose).

  Right. Adobe has no problem all new editions of bridge since CC. I'm not sure reasons, but as long as it works with creative cloud.

  Bridge isn't really a photo as Lightroom Manager. It is more than a manager of digital assets for design projects in Adobe applications.

  I need to extend the coverage of my wifi and I have an a 802.11ac AE and two former, 802.11n AE units and all are still functional.  Specifically, can the newest Airport Extreme 802.11ac extended by an older Airport Extreme 802.11n if it is connected by ethernet cable?  If it can be done, what setting (bridge mode or extend the network mode) should be used on the 802.11ac model?  Any other need to know the tips would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thank you...

  Yes, it's can... goal that the wireless "ac" will not be extended, of course. Here, I assume you think 802.11ac airport your 'main' airport and airport 802.11n as the airport of their extension.

  I pay tithing Adobe CC but also keep a copy of the CS6 installed.

  The update constantly fails to install the CS6 updates, manually install the updates fails and the program of uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't work anymore (Adobe another inspired waste of time keen: it would be the rare long-term user who can't quote a similar experience).

  Apart from updates to maintenance and support of the camera (by Camera Raw) before it has been abandoned, CS6 wasn't getting all the new features. No particular reason, why you would need CS6 when you have CC?

• Fully virtual network

  I currently have a single Linux public invited on ESX 4. I would like to divide it into several guests who have their own network that is completely internal to the ESX Server. For example, taking the mysql off the coast of the prompt public face and giving him his own virtual machine that can be accessed by existing comments on a virtual network card.

  The reason that I am so insistent on them not being not able to talk to the outside world, it's that I got once my contract is finished from a data center because a virtual network such as this one had a top DHCP server and it was somehow affect the rest of the data center, causing problems with physical machines that didn't belong to me. I've never worked on how it happened but I don't want to take that risk again (I don't plan on not on use DHCP for this network virtual anyway, but better be safe than sorry).

  I hope that I don't not too simplify this for you.  Network traffic will remain internal if the vSwitch machines virtual connected to doesn't have any physical (uplink) NIC connected to it.

  Create a virtual switch with no attached natachasery, create a second vNIC in each VM attached to these switches.  Of course, you should make sure that the IP address scheme works... That's assuming you don't need routing (which you shouldn't, this should be a simple configuration)
