I suggest that you create a "dummy" with no actual data column in the first column and then change its width so that it is almost nil. I attributed these ThinApps to a pool of offices and they are hunted successfully to desktops when users connect. From this point of view, I'm so happy that the ThinApps work OK.

  However, I just installed Workspace 2.1 and it does not detect the ThinApp packages. I've enabled view pools within the workspace and it detects my office pools OK. I also packed ThinApp compatible applications and pulled on my file ThinApp share.   What it is is an oval markup, a sort of commentary (annotation). You might have accidentally created in Acrobat. It can be removed safely in Acrobat. It would be interesting to see if it somehow automatically added in the file PDF if you need to export from InDesign again.
