What is 'save account online' (part 2)?

I saw a very similar question on a front post dated 07/11/12 (which is 'save account online'?), but don't really understand the answer.  I use reader XI on a Mac (Mountain Lion 10.8) and when I try to save a pdf file, it shows me a drop down menu where my choices are 'i) save for an online account' ii) ' Acrobat.com' (now below) or iii) "new account...". "(not shown below).

I just want to save on my local drive and not on the cloud (I'm saving a bank statement so want to keep private).  Even if it shows me a local folder on my computer ('taxes' in the screencap below), I still have to choose 'Register for an account online' or 'Acrobat.com '.  None of these sound like something I want to choose to save something like a bank statement.  (Sorry if screencap is fuzzy, but if you click on it a readable image / quality is displayed).

Overall, my question is what options choose to ensure that the file is saved only locally (do not put on the cloud or web)?  Or is there another method I should use to record?

Thank you

I see, and I understand how this can be confusing. You have two choices (for the moment), or save on Acrobat.com or another account online that you would have to implement. The first element (except the online account) is not a separate option, but more than one label. It could have been implemented as a button with that even the label when you click prompt the user to select which account online to save and proceed from there. So it is not automatically save elsewhere otherwise than locally.

  • What is "save account online?

    Hello world!

New to Adobe Professional I just downloaded the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

When I figured out how to create a new PDF from a Microsoft Word file, I have noticed there is an option 'Save for an online account' at the bottom left of the screen record under (see attached image). Problem is that I noticed this option after I had already clicked Save.

    SavetoOnlineAccount.JPG

I really don't want my PDFs out there in the cloud somewhere.

What is this option in the lower left screen? and where exactly is my online account?

    Thanks in advance

You can create an Acrobat.com account where you can store and open the PDF files. They will be accessible to different workstations and mobile devices using Adobe Reader for iOS and Android. Read about it here:

  • Save account online

    Hello

I know this question has been asked before on this forum, but I was always unable to find resolution with the answers then made excuses for him asking again.

I've recently upgraded to Adobe Reader XI and since then have been unable to save the PDF files on my hard drive.  When I press either 'save' or ' Save as ' there is a "save to Acct online" drop-down box next to the button "Save".  I read that if you ignore this box it will save again locally, for example on the desktop, but when I then the find on the desktop there is nothing of what has been recorded.  While I get, he is not saved anywhere online, it still is not save locally.  Y at - it something I can do to turn this feature off or return to somehow record of PDF on my hard drive?  I spent ages trying to work around him.  Thank you.

Try to open the file link in another browser, and then try to save it in a different location.

    Kind regards

  • How can I avoid "save to account online?

I work on a MacBook Air with OS X Yosimite 10.10.2 and using Adobe Reader 11.0.10.  In my view, there are plug-ins dated on 12-12-14, which allow "files any where".  Everything worked fine until I tried to save tax documents of my daughter on her Web site companies.  I was unable to save the docs and was sent to the Creative Solutions Web from Adobe page where I had to set up an account and a password.  Apparently, I had downloaded software (no fees sent to my knowledge).  Now, when I scan a document and try to save it, 'Save account online' is checked.  I don't want to save my docs about an online account.  How can I avoid "save to account online?  I need to send files to another party and I don't want that they have to go through that either.  Thanks for any help.

OK, unless you actually specify an online account to save on so it won't save for anything other than your local system.

To access your folder "Independent contractor MWA" click the arrow next to the file name.

Then you will see where you can browse your local system to save the file.

  • How to register the keys Windows and Office product for my Microsoft Account online

    Hi all

I would like to ask for help about how I could save my licenses of Microsoft products to my Microsoft account online.  Recently, I created my Microsoft account and a friend told me that I can save all my keys/licenses so that in all cases that I lose my physical copies of the product (stickers) keys or the media(DVD's), I can just connect to my microsoft account and I can recover product keys and download the installers.

The license of Windows 7 that I have on my laptop has been activated online already but I can remember, I have not 'save' in respect of accounts online from microsoft yet.  I also recently bought MS Office 2013 retail at a local store but I have not installed/activated it yet, it is also one of the several licenses MS I want to register all in my MS online account so I can easily view, retrieve the product keys and download installers if and when I need them.

I'd appreciate any help that the community can provide since, after contacting the technical support of Microsoft chat a few times, the cat riddiculous officers could not understand my concerns and simply refer me to a link to the microsoft store and cut the conversations.

If you guys need any clarification please let me know if I can give you more details.

Thank you and hoping for an answer soon.

    There is no option.

If you purchased your licenses at retail, simply write down and store the product at a key in a safe place. You can create a text file and send it to yourself.

You may need to reset your preferences of hearing files stored in C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\5.0. If you rename this folder in 5.0.bak that hearing won't find it when you open the next time if it will recreate a new settings with the default settings folder. See if hearing then works as expected.

  • Unable to access my bank account online.

Why is my computer allow me access to my bank account online?

You have problems with another Web site?  If this isn't the case, then it is probably a problem with the website of the Bank or your bank account.  When did you start this problem?  I suggest that you contact the technical assistance the Bank's online service (or good old customer service if they do not have a support group online tecchnical) and discuss the issue with them.  They may need to reset your acccout to change your password or to fix a problem on their website or in the configuration of your online account.  I am sure that the problem can best be solved by the Bank.  I really don't think that there is a problem with Vista or Internet Explorer.

I hope this helps, and I hope that the bank allows you to solve the problem.

FindIT ask your OS credentials. Please note that if you use a familiar name that is different from your account name as in the case of Active Directory or the account name has changed, you may not use the account name and the password of an account that has administrative access to the computer. It is for reasons of security, as Cisco FindIT can provide much information on your network. You must have an administrator account on the computer with a login and a password for Cisco FindIT.

  • How can I delete a local account with the same name as the account online?

I used my PC for a long time now using my account online, but has recently created a local account too. The original online account created a local folder with the name XXX_000 in the USERS folder.  Without thinking, I created a local account with the same account name name! (XXX_000). I realized my mistake, but I don't know how to remove the local account without removing all of the files for the account online! How can I remove the local account without affecting online account files?

Do not try to remove the account from the folder.  To do inside the PC settings app and it should be good.
