• Make a Table of the dynamic contents for a document with a liquid layout... Help!

  I have a HUGE document (70 + pages) that needs a dynamic table of content that updates the user adds information that can push all the sections that follow to the new page numbers.  There are sections AND subsections under each article, but for this, lets keep things simple and just talk sections.  I had to face to find a way to do this for months and I need to have done this week. I already have the table of contents and click on each section heading, it sets the focus to the PDF for the first text field in this section.  (each section has a text field just after the title of section)

  
  

  To make it dynamic, I added 2 pieces for each section:

  (1) a field of visible text on the Table of contents page with the default page number that the article is on until the user enters information

  2) an invisible digital field placed just before the first text field in each section that of value is set on "property page number: current runtime" so he always holds the current page number

  
  

  Using the constructor Action, what I do is every time a textfield is changed, change the value of the table visible from the field content of this section to the value of the invisible digital field that is now the current page number.  There are 7 sections, so if the text of article 2 field is changed, then update the Table of contents to sections 3-7.

  This has never answered, but I understand on mine.  Figured since it had 66 times, I would like to share what I found.  It was actually an easy fix.

  I added a textfield (set to display the current page number of the page on which it is) at the beginning of each section that appears in the table of contents and set it to always stay with the first line of text in this section as well as the document grew, the page number, in that the section begins will remain correct.  Place to hide it.  In the "binding" tab, I put the name is the same name as the corresponding heading in the table of contents.

  Hope this helps someone who is in my place last year. =)

  I would use "wildcard pattern matches" Eloqua Contact ID in a rule to randomly and evenly distribute dynamic content among all recipients of e-mail.  However this option is not currently available (DDL understands exactly, contains, etc.).   Is there another way to randomly and evenly divide my population, or configure the wildcard characters for contact ID (for example, * 4?)   Exactly and Contains does not seem to work.  Thank you!

  There is one thing that comes to mind when I think of your example.  The only way to get a true split must firstly, use the program generator.  If you are not familiar with it, think of it as Web of campaign in Advanced Mode, where each option is available.  Then run the percentage based routing to split your audience.  Then have a rule to update on the other side to set a value in Eloqua to set a value (T/F) for the A / B results.  Then send your program one step to send an email and because of the updated rule, you have created, you will be able to send a really dynamic from email of a split.

  To make it more effective, I would field 'A' 'B' group and group so that you can re - use these fields for any email on the line.  Just make sure that the end of your program clears these fields to make it work.

  I have a Data Object (CDO) custom that stores records that are inserted regularly and all records are mapped to the same contact.

  Dynamic content is using the rule "A Record in Custom object related" where we compare a field value in the ORDER above.

  When an email is sent, dynamic content rules should apply to the last record inserted into the data object custom.

  But the rule is get applied to the first record that was inserted in the CDO.

  How can ensure me that the rule applies to the last record CDO?

  Any other information related to it would be a great help.

  901529 could you explain it more? Using e-mail as a unique identifier on your CDO? If you are and it is possible to have a data card of all attached to a contact, then it will work very well... How the CDO is put in place for us to have several CDO attached to a contact.  I would like to learn more on this subject, if you have indeed several CDO attached to a contact record.

  Please tell me if you think this is the best approach.  I'm new on ESXi and I'm still learning how to take advantage of it...

  I have a server with 8 x 2 TB Seagate drives, a material in Areca 1230 raid controller and an additional Seagate hard disk of 500GB.

  I want to get the highest throughput and the best performance since records of 8 x 2 TB and the Areca raid controller, support RAID 5 and the ability to use disk space in ESXi.

  The system is currently configured as follows:

  -ESXi is installed on the hard disk of 500 GB; I would like to use a USB flash drive,

  but the motherboard does not support boot from a USB flash drive.

  -8 x 2 TB drives are assigned to a RAID, and within the entire raid, raid volumes 5-8 x 2 TB have been created.

  -Inside the ESXi, the first raid volume created a store of data and then I added the remaining volumes as extensions.

  -Gigabit ethernet (full duplex) - no jumbo frames

  -6 GB of RAM of the system with a processor core 2 duo

  Amount of space between the new data store has been assigned to one of the machines virtual and all tested well.  For example, I was able to copy a 2.4 GB file from one directory to another in 24 seconds.  This looks pretty good to me, since the specifications of disks show that they can maintain 95 MB/s of throughput.  I am trying to find how to install / use IOMeter to get more accurate test results.

  I created a SAMBA share and ran two tests.  Copy a file to the server from the network suffered between 50 Mbps and 54 Mbps.   Reading a file from the server also maintained between 50 Mbps and 54 Mbps.  This seems odd for two reasons.

  First, I tested the system with Ubuntu and SAMBA (no ESXi) and the files copied to the server at 66 MB/s.  Would imply it that ESXi General encurs that slows down the performance of the network by about 12 MB/s to 16 MB/s.  This seems a lot and gives me the impression that I did something wrong.

  Second, with ESXi installed, network throughput was between 50 Mbps and 54 Mbps all the time.  There was no initial explosion of high performance and throughput does not slow down over time.  This seems odd.  Wouldn't buffers / cache come into play?  For example, the Areca raid controller has 1gig of ram.  All least, shouldn't expect higher rates until the cache is full?  I've seen this problem on other NAS drives and I'm a little surprised that I'm not work in here.

  Thanks in advance for any thoughts, comments, or recommendations you have on any aspect of this - I should get this or comment on the raid controller, how it was configured, how better understand space in ESXi, or even advice on what kind of network throughput.

  For once I disagree with (sorry) DSTAVERT - given that all eight extensions are hosted on the same underlying RAID volume, there is no additional risk [/ b] in this configuration compared to a single set of 8 TB RAID-5 can be used without ESX.  If something goes wrong in this scenario, all eight extensions would be affected simultaneously.

  With respect to performance, this seems reasonable to me.  Keep in mind that for virtualization are generally is much more on random IOPS throughput / s sequential read (or write) block.  Eight batteries will help with that but disks SATA quickly bogged down unfortunately.

  You have to have one-Core 2 Duo, I would suggest running with 1 vCPU only guests.

  Please give points for any helpful answer.

  This is the effect of 'Clip content according to the cell': If you apply an effect to a cell that contains a graph (e.g. a shadow) the effect is cut and shows only with the cell. It is not "slop" on the outside.

  Yes, you said a table is in a scheme called C3, and the other is in a schema called SIMS.  Are these schemas in the same database or in different databases?

  If they are in the same database, then you do not have a database link.  Or the other schema can reference tables in the other qualifying names correctly, for example

  SELECT *.

  OF C3. case_studies

  ...

  assuming that the right privileges have been granted.

  If the schemas are in different databases, a database link is the best way to access data in a database in a different database.

  Without a database link, you will probably use some kind of use outside the database to write the data to a database, the file if necessary, transport and read in other databases.  DataPump files of images or CSV files, as Paulzip said in answer to #1, could be used for this.

• Time dealing with the shambles - the best way?

  I just bought a new Mac and want to transfer my catalogs in Lightroom (note the plural) from my old Mac.  For various reasons, mainly the lack of planning, there are a lot of catalogs. In the course of transfer, I would like to consolidate them in a single catalog.  The total number of images in not much, maybe 2000, but most of them have been converted in LR (3.5).  There may be some overlap in the catalogs, but not very many.

  What is the best way to import catalogues in a new (once the old catalogues and images are loaded on the new computer)?

  I would say to make the consolidation of your catalogs into one on old Mac. in this way the new transfer will be easier.

  Peacebuilding: use the feature of > file > import from catalog. You must select one of your catalogs as the future 'alone' and all other import there.

• Dynamic content on the 2nd landing page (confirmation page)

  I read a few posts, but the explanations were not very clear to me, so looking for direct help.

  I have an email which redirects the customer to a landing with a form page.  The dynamic content on this page works as expected.

  By submitting the form, the client is redirected to a 2nd Eloqua landing page (a 'Thank you' page).  On this page, dynamic content does not work.

  First of all... WHY HE JUST DOESN'T WORK?  They are two Eloqua landing pages, if the cookie is there and the first form could easily pass the visitor/contact/email info, so that the content of the 2nd landing page works as expected.  This should be a built-in feature that shouldn't need of extra effort.

  As it is, I tried to implement a population form Cloud Connector (so far unsuccessfully), add a form hidden on the 2nd page of launch.

  It seems that people have got it works, but the complete set of steps is not clear.  Help!
