Please help on this.

Thank you!

I need to know because I write a significant demand with local storage requirements.

If the user grants permission for a site to exceed the quota of 50 MB IndexedDB, then as much as I know Firefox is no limit more. The only limits on the size of the IndexedDB database will be the disk space of the user and operating system.

The quota of localStorage is 5000KB and there is no way for a web site asking the browser for permission to store more than that amount in localStorage.

  • What is the limit of storage to the notes stored in iCloud?

I have been using the Notes app for a while and have been loving him. Since any cloud storage service usually has a limit of free storage (Google Drive has a limit of 15 GB), I would like to know the limit of storage for the Notes saved in iCloud.

Your iCloud free storage is 5 GB - for all the iCloud services you use handsets, Mail, documents, notes, iCloud, photo library,...  The free GB are not counted by app but by AppleID.

Only the photo My Photo Stream and shared albums do not count against the 5 GB free, there are different limits. (iCloud: My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limit)

In addition, calendar entries, bookmarks, stay, contact:

  • What is the limit of storage for sending?

Not clear about the relationship, if any, between Adobe send and other products and Adobe services.  Include the price of the subscription to send the cloud storage?

There is not a specific file for files that are sent size limit, but there are factors that can affect your ability to download very large files (mostly bandwidth). We anticipate that most users will send files to less than 2 GB.

For storage, a free subscription comes with 2 GB of storage and a paid subscription to one of the services Cloud Document (including Send) gets 20 GB of storage.

  • What is the best way to read data series high speed?

My goal is to read 14 bytes of binary data of an instrument on the serial RS232 (460800 baud) to 2000 Hz. I didn't get a card series high speed again so I am currently using the standard serial port (115200 baud) and reading at 400 Hz I have configure the port series, empty the buffer, and then enter a while loop to read incoming data. I have a visa 14 bytes read by interation seconds 0.0025 (400 Hz). However it seems that the sensor is spewing data faster that labview can read because the bytes are accumilating in the port. After some time the buffer fills and the program fails.

Is there a better way to do it?

Would it not be better to read the larger quantities of data less often, for example as 1400 bytes every 0.25 seconds?

    Thank you

    Hello

I think it would be good to read several points in a loop, and keep the loop less than 1000 Hz.  I found in the past, have something to run faster than about 10ms tends to fall down when windows loses interest in the process.  So yes, choose the slower you can get away with reading samples - for example to read every 10ms and read 20 samples every time. You should be able to configure your serial port in order to buffer the samples that I guess.

Also and the issue of windows - if you use a loop "timed" instead of a while loop, so you can force it to an integer value including the ms.  You can also assign a dedicated processor and set the priority to 100, which means that it is less likely to elapse and decide to scan your hard drive for viruses or consult your account e-mail or what he does when he's bored with your program.  Also it "' tells you if the loop has taken longer that planned to run - you can use this to help iron out bugs etc. - report and/or to the user if you missed a few samples.

  • What is the difference in processors for Macbook Air?

I currently have a 2012 13-inch Macbook Pro. Its processor is 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5.

I'm looking to get a new laptop, something more light, so I was watching the macbook air.

What is the difference between getting 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 and 2.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7? Other than the extra to upgrade $170. It is worth to pay that? I'm a student, so not really rolling in money.

I'll just use it for the usual, surf the web for research and social media, spotify, itunes library, large library, some photo editing, imessage. I feel that that's what most people are doing, then what is the best for the average man?

In addition, what is the significance in storage? I'm not sure what my mac pro has, but is it worth it to upgrade to the flash 512 GB PCle - based, storage or I couldn't stick with the 256 GB?

Account of your not doing much with your mac in addition to what is its main purpose, I recommend save money for a processor and possibly buy more RAM (Random Access Memory) it helps with multitasking like surfing on the web.

It also depends on the amount of memory you want. If your photos are of high quality and there are many, improved storage isn't bad.

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of using iCloud drive (or other Cloud services) compared with iTunes game against external hard drive, Solid State etc. to store my songs iTunes, playlists, ratings etc?

First question: what are the advantages and disadvantages of using iCloud drive (or other Cloud services) compared with iTunes Match against Solid State external hard drive etc to store my songs iTunes, playlists, ratings etc?

Please let me know what are the alternatives for storage of my songs, playlists, song etc. other than iTunes game ratings ($ 24.99 / year)?  Is there a way to store all my songs with my song ratings, playlists, etc. with a CD song quality? Most of my (currently 130 GB) songs on my computer are CD quality that I prefer to keep as well as my notes of each song (i.e. 5 * vs. 4 * etc.), playlists, groups (music, classical, popular, country etc.).  What are the advantages and disadvantages to store my iTunes songs while CD quality with my personal notes, reading lists, groupings in the cloud?  ICloud of Apple Drive ($ 2.99 per month or $36 / year for 200 GB) would be the best way to automatically update and maintain my rankings iTunes personal including the future editions of the song etc or using Amazon, IBM, Microsoft etc cloud or an external hard drive SSD would work as well and maybe cheaper?  I currently have my iTunes on a PC of 2007 with vista (I use a 1 8T Western Digital external upward by car for my personal info all over HP, songs, photos etc. which is currently close to 170 GB) but also have an Apple i-phone 6 & I Air cushion.  Although I did not need to have all of my music with all their sides, etc. available on all of my devices at all times as iTunes game, I still would have easy access to information on both my PC and my iPhone or iPad?  Thank you.

    In my opinion?

I back up my data to an external drive for several reasons.  The first is my data - if I put on the cloud, someone else has control over it, they can see what I have and change the preferences to what they see of marketing.

Almost as important as that - if I had to rely on the cloud whenever I wanted to update my playlists on my phone, I need a better internet connection I have now (working at sea).  To get the best out of the cloud, you need a solid link to home, work or mobile.

As a spin-off - I hate the fact that Apple take away a feature in their software updates and then allow an app to be sold in their store to replace this feature - or worse still, some features that were available before the updates are now "cloud only."  And Yes - you have to pay for the cloud.  I like most of the people do not appreciate the 'accomplished fact. "

From the back of the external hard drive ASI downside, is that to be safe, you need to store outside in a separate computer place.  If keep you them together, if one is lost, probably, they are both.  That is to say for me a full backup before you travel, then a new upward as soon as I go home.  Downside is how much data may be lost between the two back ups if I needed to restore.  For me, its worth the risk.  If I was away and say had bought a ton of new music and couldn't go home anytime soon, I can always head to the store and buy a new external drive, they are massively expensive.  Even if my computer has to go for repair and my remote is to halfway around the world - I want to buy a new one.

Now, some will say that once you buy a new external, you spend more than you would on a cloud subscription.  It's true, but in the 6 years following the purchase of Mac that I've only had to buy a new external once - so with a little luck and planning - it works.

I left took well - I am not a subscriber of cloud, nor do I want to be.

  • What are the implications to remove existing backup history?

I have a 17 "end 2011 MacBook Pro under OS X 10.11.6. I had a hard drive crash and try to restore it on a new hard drive. I received a message indicating there is a problem with my backup when I tried to restore. I'm in time machine and checked my backups and received the following message:

"Time Machine has conducted an audit of your backups on"Time Capsule". To improve reliability, Time Machine must create a new backup for you.

"Click Start new backup to create a new backup. This will remove your existing backup history. This may take several hours. »

What is the implication to the existing deletion of the backup history?

What is the implication to the existing deletion of the backup history?

Remove existing history of backups will erase all previous backups.  Unfortunately, Time Machine has detected that the backup history is corrupted... probably because of the previous accident of hard drive on your Mac.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to restore your Mac using the backups you have, unless you have a second copy of backups on another drive that could be used for the restore to clean operation.

  • What is the difference between the cookies keep until I close firefox and the history of cookie empty closing firefox?

In the settings of Firefox 33.0 (I use Ubuntu 14.04, but the functionality is the same for Windows 7) there are two ways to delete cookies when firefox closes. Or at least, there seems to be.

Is first the cookies keep until firefox is closed

Second is to check the box for clear history of firefox closing and in the settings check cookies.

What is the difference between these two options?

I usually have two configuration but I noticed that a connection was not save for td canada trust EasyWeb, even though I have an exception set for it. Now I unchecked to remove cookies by disabling the history on close and connection records correctly.

This connection allows to save 7 cookes under easyweb.td.com and 10 cookies under td.com and I have exceptions defined for both. If I clear the history when closing and include cookies, half of the td.com cookies disappeared when I close firefox and re - open. The same is true if I'm not the exception.

So currently I can't find a way to keep all cookies if I clear the cookie history when firefox closes. What is the difference with this option?

When you change the default cookie 'to life' of "keep until: they expire" to "keep until the: I close Firefox", Firefox changes all persistent cookies that sites set session cookies. To allow a site to place a persistent cookie, you need to make an exception (site permission).

When you turn on the story to stop compensation and include cookies, running a completely separate process that doesn't doesn't pay attention to the duration of cookie or exceptions (permissions site). There just nukes all.

Note that some cookies could survive if they are encoded in the history file of your session of compensation at the stop, a Firefox uses to restore your tabs and windows from last session. I have not tested.
