What is the maximum power that I can pass on to a HP p6654y

Hello, I have a HP p6654y tower that I need to upgrade. Currently, the power supply is only 250w. I'm ready to buy a higher level power source but how high can I go? My motherboard will be ok with a 650w-700w?

Thank you for your time

Generally, when this question is asked, there is a reason.  New graphics card. Here's a great guide.  At least read the original message and the following 2 (added text in fact).

MDEX 6.4.1 is part of the Oracle short trade 3.1.2 support pack.  I think for 6.4.1.1 you must reach out to support to get this fix.  (Unless your Solaris operating system, whereby 6.4.1.1 is on delivery)

    Thank you.

The largest PSU that you can install is a power supply that fits in your case. Is that you can install a 500w unit, unit of 700w. No matter what the power of the PSU is... What matters and is that the limiting factor is the size of the PSU pyshical. Measure the size of your existing plant of PSU and notice the space between it and optical drives... If you get a power supply which, for many, optics and PSU players bump into one another.

  • What is the maximum number of vCPU can I connect to a virtual computer?

Currently, we are conducting a cluster of 3 ESX host.  2 of them run Xeon Dual Core Pro 7140 M and the rest works a Quad-Core Intel Xeon X 5460 CPU.

HT enabled processor Xeon Dual Core Pro 7140M.  In this way, each female, it shows that 4 logical CPU.

We would like to know if we can assign 4vCPU to a virtual machine (as required by a server administrator) WHERE we can assign only 2 vCPU maximally?

    Thank you

I think you should spend some time reading about VMware resources management guide and have a good operation of a CPU scheduling understandings and best practices dealing with vSMP.  As everyone says, it would be unwise to have a virtual machine running 4vCPU or 8 vCPU and I did not see a need for anything that is 8 vCPU but does not mean that it cannot.  It would be nice if you can tell us your current use of the server/application and details of the charge and that would quickly determine 2vCPU is pretty good.  The vCPU more assigned to the virtual machine, takes more time to achieve your requests because it must have enough carrots to do and called "Co planning."  I have attached the guide so that you can read a few details.  http://www.VMware.com/PDF/vi3_35/esx_3/R35/vi3_35_25_resource_mgmt.PDF

It wouldn't surprise if you complain about performance issues when you have tons of 4vCPU or virtual 8vCPU running in the cluster.  Always start with 1vCPU and growth like him.

  • What does the 7 d that I can not leave the T3i?

    T3i, 7 d

Thank you for a such detailed answer to my question. Currently, I have a T3i and I was wondering if I'd get a good part of the upgrade at this time. Looks like I better stay with what I have for now. I'm just a casual photographer with a strong interest to get much better. I can improve my skills and update when the time comes... Thanks again.

If you. by "not many" really ask the question "what do you need?

If you're wondering what could the 7 d bring your photography, I would like things the exceptionally bright and largeviewfinder which includes a pentaprism (rather than the pentamirror). I think that the time it takes to compose and shoot an image is determined partly by the facility, is to collect information, using the photographer's view, necessary to complete the process. Bright viewfinder the 7 d is much higher in my opinion important features that speed of continuous shutter or exceptional low light performance, for example. I am also of the belief that a magnesium alloy body is a strong advantage. Often, I take my camera when I ski and my antics on the skis have included 'close encounters' with trees. Laughing out loud

Essentially, it is important to consider what is right for you. If you are improve as a photographer, hold the camera, you have until your photography requires an upgrade, then search in order to find what cameras can ensure that need. Good luck.

  • What is the fastest connection that I can use for a new external SSD for my MBP late 2008?

That IS the question. I want a new external SSD for my MBP late 2008.

What is the fastest connection type that works?

'External' and 'SSD' could be a problem.  SSDS are different animals of disks spinny.  Some will say that you need not trim on SSD (TRIM is a management tool to move only the ' opportunity' bytes in a block when the block of data is moved), but definitely TRIM does not work on USB or Firewire.  Not sure if the TRIM works on Thunderbolt connected readers as it does on disks SATA-path, however.

Speed included between slower and faster, however: USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800, USB 3.0, love at first sight.

  • What is the maximum RAM that can be installed in ES1 - 111 M-C9VZ Aspire laptop?

Some time ago, I bought an Acer Aspire ES1 - 111 M-C9VZ that has 2 GB of RAM installed.

The manual is completely silent on the extension of the memory, i.e. what maximum RAM would be the system can tolerate. I assume that there is only one memory slot (I hate to take the unit out just to check that).

Also I suppose you could get one 4 GB memory card to replace the existing one. But the bus system will be able to handle the extra memory.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

    Derek

You can upgrade to the top with 8 GB of memory, you have a memory slot in your laptop and need to get one stick to replace the current stick.

The manual for the 1325sa g6 says support up to 8 GB, but the options only go up to a 4 + 2 GB (6 GB)

    Hello

I think you should indeed be able to install 8 GB (2 x 4 GB ddr3 modules).

I saw this rather strange limit of 6 GB mentioned before - there is a similar thread here where a 6 GB limit is mentioned on a similar machine, but 8 GB installs Ok.

    Hello gang,

The PC gods were not nice to me (admittedly, I explored things better left to someone who knows what they're doing!)
4 3 systems are in the shop! It's the curiosity for you!
in any case, I'm trying to run my business together via an obsolete zv6000 HP/XP which now, I am so grateful to have never let go for some ridiculous cheap because of its antiquity. I have to admit that for a former average daily price laptop, that it hold its own & has not crushed or skips a beat so far. Its a revelation to my new quad-core 64-bit W7, of 2 TB hardrv. on a system with a fraction of what is now considered ways.
in any case, it will be a week or more before finishing to fix my new PC & I'm trying to squeeze as much speed & quality photos out of my HP older than possible in the meantime. We've all heard of ready boost and how it works. My question is: Why am I limited to roughly define max loan-boost 4G on my 16 G scan momar. Blade? I have a Pocket media external 160Gig who came to my old HP and I have a the same problem, my current XP laptop will not allow a higher setting of ready-boost. I'm sure there's a technical explanation for this and I would like to know what it is, also can not I not also devote a small partition of my main drive for the memory of virtual reality or designating a flash drive only for ready-boost prevents me from cumulation? Y at - it other tips sly to speed up this old laptop XP? I have 2 Hardrives internal of 1 to everyone who was initially appointed to go in my last version, but they are not formatted when even (they are still in the box) if I get an IDE/SATA connector can I piggy save one of them to serve as storage for a higher speed? Or my old O.S and M/Board will remain my permanent bottleneck is not worth sinking money in when I have all these projects around the installation & some shortages of technical brainpower!
Thanks a lot for direction my efforts in the right direction, away from the rocks!

ReadyBoost works on Windows Vista, 7 and 8. You can't use it on
    Windows XP.

Furthermore, in my experience, ReadyBoost only have advantage if you use
on a system with very little (less than 2 GB) of RAM. On most computers it
    Nothing or almost nothing.

  • What is the first event that we can call after clicking the run button.

    Hi all

I want to call an event when I click the button run prior to any other action. Can someone suggest me one solution other that the event expire?

    Thank you

You can associate an event to a (hidden) Boolean (or another control), and then the fire by writing to a value property (sgnl) of this node before the event loop starts.
