  • What is the point of type conversion of forms, rather than just flattening at required resolution?

    OK, this may seem a stupid question. Lets say that I see a three-pronged in Photoshop. The printer asks that the drawings are conducted on a 300 dpi resolution.

    What is the point in the conversion of any type of forms before the registration or embed fonts when I can flatten just my design at 300 dpi as a whole? Don't go printing do anyway... flatten just my design? Or they print type at a resolution higher than the portions of the frame of the drawing or model? He mistook me for too long. I hope someone can clarify this. Thank you

    300 ppi measurement is used for the midtones (aka filtered) images. Text is often not tracked so this resolution does not apply. You want a higher resolution (obtained by keeping the text in vector format) to keep a clear text.

    When sending art to a printer or to the bottom of the page-assembly line, it is ideal to save in PDF format that it will retain the direct type of Photoshop as a material of vector fonts.

  • In regards to the final quality, what is the VERY BEST way output an InDesign to Photoshop file?

    I create a file for an online ad in InDesign... because I'm primarily a print designer, because it includes text and images, especially because this is the program I work faster.  I create the final size required for advertising.  All done, all approved. Final online publication requires a jpg file.

    So... I can export of ID as a jpg. Or, I can copy all and paste it in a new PS document, then output jpg for the web and devices. Or, I can save/export as eps/PDF and open THIS file in PS, , then the jpg for the web and output devices. There's probably more. And of course, I could just create in PS if I have TO. What SHOULD I do wind up with the clearer jpg to the correct file size?

    I think maybe this post in the PS forum, too, and see if everyone agrees on a method. Thank you, all.

    Raster InDesign export functions are questioned regularly here in the forums, so even if it's something I have never, I have a distinct feeling that it can be quite problematic.

    I would say the InDesign > export > PDF / open a PDF file in Photoshop > save for Web gives you the most control over every step of the process.

  • Error with the attribute declarion to excel

    Here is the error I get when compiling the excel document.

    1. "customer" is not in the scope. You may need to use an alias for "the type of customer flight."

    In fact, I'm trying to set other rates tables, inthat rates will be based on the client (entity1) as well as of the transaction (entite2) so I'm attributes of two different entities reference.

    It would be appreciated if you can help us to sort as soom as possible.

    Published by: Vincent k. on December 20, 2010 16:04

    You can not simply refer to these attributes, you must indicate that the customer and what transactions the attributes belong to.

    The rate has been defined in which entity? In this entity, you probably have a relationship both a customer and a transaction (or the rate actually belongs to one of these entities). Wherever there are, you specify which client or the transaction you are talking.

    For example, instead of:

    >
    the number of orders placed by the customer > 5
    >

    You would write:

    >
    (Customer of the purchase order, the number of orders placed by the customer > 5)
    >

    If you want a condition related to an attribute column, so you can simply write '> 5' as the condition rather clearly stating the condition complete every time, then I suggest you pull the attribute in the entity using a rule of the intermediary, for example (it is a rule of Word not a rule of excel):

    >
    order quantity for the customer in the purchase order = (customer of the purchase order, the number of orders placed by the customer)
    >

    Then use "quantity of customer order" under the heading in the condition column.

    That IS the question. I want a new external SSD for my MBP late 2008.

    What is the fastest connection type that works?

    'External' and 'SSD' could be a problem.  SSDS are different animals of disks spinny.  Some will say that you need not trim on SSD (TRIM is a management tool to move only the ' opportunity' bytes in a block when the block of data is moved), but definitely TRIM does not work on USB or Firewire.  Not sure if the TRIM works on Thunderbolt connected readers as it does on disks SATA-path, however.

    Speed included between slower and faster, however: USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800, USB 3.0, love at first sight.

  • ACS v5.2 - cannot add the attribute enumeration to aggravate the condition

    Hello

    I created an internal user attribute and the attribute enumeration type so that only certain values can be selected. I am trying to apply this attribute to a composed State. However, when I select the value of the enumerator of the compound State none of the configured values display in the window pop up. (It is easier to explain with screenshots.). Is there a way to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    I've recreated your problem both in ie and firefox. I tried to remove the spaces from the listed strings, but it did not help

    Note that the enuemrated conditions work for simple conditions. It's when customize you the table you select CAR as a condition; instead of using a compound conditon.

  • ' Gets an attribute xsi: type with XMLType object relational storage.

    Hello

    How to recover the attribute xsi: type, when you use storage relational XMLType object.

    When you have for example a ProductOrder object type and one object type MoveOrder what a CustomerOrder extensions type how to recover if the CustomerOrder is a kind of MoveOrder or ProductOrder attribute:

    < ns2:customerOrder xsi: type = "ns3:UpcProductOrder" >

    I would use the XMLTable service in combination with the XPath rewrite.

    version of the database 11.2.0.2

    Thanks for the details.

    As I said in my first answer, the prefix xsi is predefined, don't try to redeclare him.

    I know that sounds strange and is in contradiction with what the manual, but it seems to work that way with the storage of GOLD.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/AppDev.112/e23094/xdb_xquery.htm#CBAJBDFA

    You can use these prefixes in XQuery expressions without first declaring in the prologue of the XQuery expression. You can redefine any of them except xml in the prologue.

  • What does the 'name' HTML attribute?

    Someone referred a w3schools chart and it make me () meaning for me.

    I was wondering mainly on its use with rollovers javascript, with regard to the code below, but any concept 'together' of the fact that the 'name' attrib would be useful.

    <! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional / / BY" > ".
    " < html xmlns =" http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml ">
    < head >
    < title > Simple Rollover A < /title >
    < / head >
    < body bgcolor = "#FFFFFF" >
    < a href = "next.html" ' onmouseover="document.arrow.src='images/arrow_on.gif'" onmouseout="document.arrow.src='images/arrow_off.gif'" > < img src = "images/arrow_off.gif" width = "147" height = "82" border = '0' name = "arrow" alt = "arrow" / > < /a > "
    < / body >
    < / html >

    In HTML (not XHTML), the name attribute provides a way for javascript to uniquely identify a particular element in the page, and then do something with it.  This is what is most commonly used to swap images - so that whenever you insert a swap image on the page behavior, DW will place the code in the head of the page looking for the code to find the image particularly involved in each permutation image.  If you look at the code and look at the event handler, you will see that DW provides the code with the NAME of the image involved and the source path of the image that will replace it.

    You can find such information on the site http://www.w3.org under the HTML4.01 specification.

    In XHTML, the name attribute has been deprecated in favor of the attribute ID.  Unfortunately, you can't really replace 'name' by 'id' quite yet because of support issues.

    Hi all

    I found answers to my question on "Windows 7 Help Forums" http://www.sevenforums.com/> and a program to recreate and fix all the original Windows 7 hubs and symlink [attributes and security properties (full)], called 'Junction box' [site Web of Documentation: http://iwrconsultancy.co.uk/junctionbox>; and the download Web site: http://sourceforge.net/projects/junctionbox/?source=dlp>].

    I also found that there are more original than those listed above junctions.  My advice is to remove all the junctions, you could have recreated manually (or move them to your backup drive) before running "JunctionBox.exe" (using its configuration file "DefaultJunctions.ntj").  Then run it two or three times; because it is not recreate all the original joints the first time you run it.  It recreates the together the legacy of windows (see below), by default (C:\Users\Default), all users (C:\Users\All) and the current user (C:\Users\%UserName%), junctions on the first throw, but not the junctions of temp (C:\Users\Temp) and their targets. - you must re-create the junction target temp manually, yourself, if you want them to run.

    Here is MY updated 'Junction Box' 'DefaultJunctions_2.ntj' list of configuration files (list of all the original Windows 7 junctions):

    ; ===(Start of List) =.

    ; A list of the standard set of junctions in Vista and Windows 7, for the purpose of repair.
    ;
    ; The notation is as follows:
    ;  Section headers are userprofile-records unless otherwise noted by a full path.
    ;  Paths starting with a-specify a full path to the system root. (Usually C:\)
    ;  Starting paths by are relative to the container profile. (Usually C:\users)
    ;  Location paths and junction target are compared to [value] section header without qualifier.
    ; Default profile settings apply to all generic users when profiles are repaired.
    ; You can add sections for specific users, if it is not normally necessary.
    ; Wildcard characters or macros other that those listed above are not allowed.
    ; Junctions will be created using the target-full paths, regardless of the values relative or complete here.
    ; Note: Non-English speaking users will need to create their own file, sorry.

    [General]

    ; Displays warning if incompatible OS or system-language is found.
    OSVersions = WIN_VISTA, WIN_7, WIN_2008, WIN_2008R2, WIN_LONGHORN
    OSLanguages = 0409, 0809

    ; Force the creation of junctions in system or user files, or both.
    ; = 1 recreates (parts of)-structure of profile folders missing. Relatively safe to use.
    ; = 2 strength deletes any file, folder or the junction occupying the location target.
    ; -valuable when it comes to corrupt junctions, but use them carefully because may delete data.
    ; Default value is to leave alone the existing junctions and add only those missing, but set correct permissions on all.
    SystemForceCreation = 0
    UserForceCreation = 0

    ; The following sections refer to disk files and necessary for each, junctions as JunctionName = JunctionTarget.
