  This is my first post, and I'm a new user of photoshop (CS2), so please be patient with my "noobness".
  
  I'm pretty savvy computer (program in several languages) and did graphic work weakly in the context of the development of a video game, but I'm not very experienced with photoshop itself (my work was a combination of gimp, trial photoshops, etc..) Most of what I accomplish comes to live combining textures generated by my game engine with high level shader language.
  
  I have a project, now I have to do in the next two weeks, which is "simply" to create a book cover - it may be beyond my capabilities, but it seems relatively simple and I'm looking for general advice and specific guidance on some questions.
  
  I need to make a graph after the attached .jpg style.

  

  It seems relatively simple - but is not unfamiliar to do things like this I really don't know. I maybe bit biggest I can chew in the next two weeks, because I will learn as I go.

  The way I do it would be to create several layers for each item (for example, spacers, beach, ocean, mountains, buildings) and then go on the elements of design. (I use a Wacom Bamboo pen & touch - that I also learn on the fly)

  My more specific questions have to do with
  (1) gradients of
  (2) spackle (since they don't know the correct term)
  (3) texture

  (1) how the gradients can be reached? I used the tool degraded in the past to fill a selection with a gradient between two colors, but is there a way to create gradients that flow between two colors when drawing with a brush?

  Consider the areas circled in red, especially around the blue mountains. This is where I'm assuming some function gradient may be used, but if there is some other functions to obtain this type of fade between colors I'm completely open to suggestions.

  (2) in the Bush circle, as the Greens into the darker Brown, there are what I would call "spackle" or discrete points on the Brown on the Green (as opposed to what could be achieved with a smudge tool). How could you get this effect more efficiently? is it just a matter of playing with the scattering of brush settings and so on?

  
  (3) because the original is a work of art created on a physical painting with brushes of physical, it has a texture. How these textures are accomplished with photoshop?

  
  I realize that my questions can be relatively "heavy", but what I'm looking for starting points.

  
  If someone could take a look at the attached picture and think about how you would do it yourself, I'd appreciate a general description of your workflow and a list of any techniques/Tools/settings I should pursue the investigation.

  Here are a few "starting points" for some questions you have above.

  How to get a gradient background:

  You want to create the gradient and place it on a background layer. For the mountain, you can create a custom shape and apply a gradient.

  Create texture:

  You want to use additional fusion and textures for the mountain and possibly other areas.

  Hope this help to give you a starting point with your project and please post while you continue your project.

  The amount of time it takes to perform the debugging/save/construction/installation/reboot/test is too long.

  There was such a thing as emulator ripple and I see now Chrome has the development tools Mobile http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/developertools/mobile/ which is in a similar field.

  It seems that all that really need to happen is that some responsible, special *.js files to emulate each gross API platforms (so there is no JS error during execution of the API).  They don't even have to implement the function in a first time, just provide an API stub, logs the call of API, params and message "not implemented by emulation API".

  Then a large part of the application could be developed on the desktop before you need to install it on the Simulator or a real device.

  This request is so what exactly is your workflow that allows you to make the most of the field work in the application.

  We talk to the era of today (June 2014), WebWorks 2.1, Cordova 3.5.x etc...

  A lot of my development tends to be in the desktop browser (e.g. Chrome; for its great developer tools.) Especially when it comes to the UI and others. Really, until I'm leveraging Cordova (incl. WebWorks, Phonegap, etc..) API, all my work is done there.

  Cordoba has a mastery of 'serve' which will host in fact your content on a web server. So if your config.xml file is pointing to this web server (instead of the local index.html file) you can just use 'cordova serve' to start the server and 'cordova prepare' to update the server with all changes made to its files.

  In this way, just run you this command on your PC, refresh (restart) the app and the new changes are turned on without requiring continuous re - installed.

  And note that 'prepare webworks' will update the content, which allows a quick refreshment.

  I'm using feed burner to add to create RSS feeds to add my

  I get the error message - unable to download episodes of your workflow.

  I want to connect Itunes to thisblog - where I'll post my future podcasts. At the moment I have a test post with a link to the

  I'm new pod casting and not really sure that I can do to solve this problem.

  There is no file at the URL you give to your Feedburner feed.

  The blog that link you has a link of RSS, but there is no media files. The episode on the blog page has a link to a media file to Google Reader, but it does not play and also the URL has no extension (for example, .mp3) so he won't have a podcast.

  Google Drive caused a lot of problems, and the indications are that he is not a suitable place to host a podcast.

  WordPress will build a podcast for you, but you must provide the URL of file media that are a direct link to the file, the extension and play in a browser, rather than forcing a download.   I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your computer and give them the error code, as shown.  The error means there is a serious hardware problem with your computer, it is not what Microsoft or Windows caused or can solve.

  Back in the day, the printers were an output device only when the computer would simply send your print job to the printer and it would print (or not).  Now printers 'reply' to your computer and notify you levels of ink and toner low, paper jams, termination of success/failure, etc.    Enable bidirectional support allows the printer to 'reply' to your computer.

  I tried to install a copy of Symantec Corporate Edition Antivirus software but despite several attempts the software could not be installed in Windows 7 Home Basic Edition version but get error message repeated as "error 1721.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your provider to support personal or package. "

  If the information of Gokul has not helped to solve your problem, then I suggest that you use the Windows Installer Cleanup tool.
  There may be a corrupt installation, you need to delete everything first.
  Click here for a link to download the utility from Microsoft.

  You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

  You have introduced a fatal error in your workflow that makes it unreadable. The first tag "description" in line 13 reads:

  You can not have an ampersand ('& ') by itself in food as in XML, it means the beginning of a sequence of code. Since this is never done, it looks like RSS readers as if the rest of the food is the code. You need to replace it with either the word "and" or the code

  & amp;

  like you did in a number of other instances. I have not checked to see if there are any other loose ampersands in animal feed.

  There is another point that may well cause problems. Your enclosure tags only contain the URL of the media file. The need also to contain the 'length' and 'type' attribute, like this:

  The attribute 'length' can not so important with the store, but the 'type' to recognize the file.

  In addition, your media files are hosted on Amazon and use the protocol https (secure connection). This is not recommended; If in each case, you change the https protocol to http, it should still work. There has been problems with the use of Amazon, so if you still have problems after you correct the two points above which would be the next place to look.

  I though I had all ready to download my podcast on iTunes. However, I get the following messages.

  -Podcast work must be understood from 1400 x 1400 to 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in the RGB color space and hosted on a server that allows HTTP HEAD requests.

  It's I checked out the site with two validation podcasting sites and they say its all is ok...

  This isn't a stream, I'm afraid of podcast. You have no tag "enclosure" containing the URLS of your multimedia files, as required by iTunes. You have a reference in the 'Description' tag (which itunes does not read) to a URL of Google Drive which is a web page with an embedded player - it won't work. You must provide a direct link to the media file, and if you enter the URL in a browser it should play directly in a browser and no download or appear in an embedded player. And you will need to find another server to host your multimedia files - Google Drive caused nothing but bad and I'm not sure that someone has managed to do work for podcasting.

  As for the image, the URL in your "tag" leads to an image that is 320 x 320 px so as you can see he doesn't qualify.

  The problem is that you have a mixture of episodes with boxes and episodes without. Your episode at the top of the page is not a forum, and it's the only one that is checked when you submit a stream. Because it is not a stream is rejected.

  It is not a good idea to mix the types of the episode in this way. The episodes that do not have fences do not appear in the store or a subscription. For now you seem to have Wordpress showing only 10 episodes in food, after which older, those are deleted (of course you can have only 10 so far). If you mix episodes and the number is limited, then very few episodes will appear in the store. You should be able to increase the number in the Wordpress settings that would work around this problem, but it is really better to have only playable episodes in a podcast feed. You can find that Wordpress has also produced a stream with only these podcast episodes, and if so you could argue that to Feedburner. Otherwise, you must remove the episode at the top of the page or your diet will not be accepted.

  Assuming that you are referring to the hotspot feature, nobody here can tell how it works because it depends on your wireless provider, congestion on the network, signal strength, etc...

  Peronsally, I would not even consider this route.
